Pavilion Elite HPE-110f: 110f hp pavilion CPU fan?

Noisy fan problem, it's the one attached to the radiator.  I hear it all the time, but sometimes it will be rev.

It's a 80mm.

I looked online because I thought I could get just a 80mm fan, but after reading a bit more, I'm nervous about doing things that match.

How can I say which fan to get and I need to replace the radiator and the fan, or can I get just a fan for him?

I have the processor AMD phenom II (x 4), fwiw.

Thanks for any help!

Thanks, this looks like good advice - and I definitely not dirty with the heat sink.

Get some canned air and do what you suggested, I think / hope there's a good chance that that's it, that is.  Nothing 'wrong', sounds a bit worked - snoring is pretty even.

Last two questions however:

For the kind of fine dust, Backen-we who is on the boards/circuits/chips exposed in places, canned air will take care of that as well, or can I use some on a cotton swab rubbing alcohol?  It would be nice.  You can also use a small brush.  The cleaner for the better.

And if I had a new fan (it's above all by curiosity, or if the dust collection is not the case), it's as simple as just buying a 80mm 3 pin fan and him plugging in?  Or is it more complicated than that, involving the specific computer processor/specs?  You buy a fan that is made especially for the processor.  We will find what you need if necessary.

Hello WannJL, according to the specifications of your system, that can be found here, Raid0 as well as Raid1 are supported.

It shows the 7200 RPM and 5400 RPM drives.

If you want even more performance, you might consider the Western Digital VelociRaptor series discs, (10 000 rpm), or as Big_Dave claim, one of the SSDS.

The ASUS GTX 560 should adapt and work very well. The Antec PSU is great and very likely to have problems in the space provided. It can interfere with connections to the motherboard and push against the CD/DVD discs. Please look at the Corsair CX600 instead. It is only slightly larger than the block of power SUPPLY HP stock and is known to adapt.

  • Replace the HARD drive in the new Pavilion Elite HPE-180 t.

I'm not a professional computer, but after 30 years of use, the upgrade and repair PC home and the office, I'm embarrassed to post this thread - but here goes.  I took delivery of a few days ago the new highest indicated HP computer model in the topic of this thread.  The new computer is beautiful and everything worked perfectly from the start.  I decided after a few days to check, everything was fine and proceeded to a few pieces of hardware to transfer from my old Dell (a fairly new 1 t WD SATA HDD on which coied got a lot of data from the former count and a new BD/DVD ROM SATA optical drive).  Everything was fine once I figured out how to get these two drives in the enclosure waterproof on the new computer, but all reconnecting the SATA cable on the main came with the computer HARD disk, I broke up some pins on the HARD drive that made it of course useless SATA port.  I of course take full responsibility and do not wish to get involved with HP technical support to replace the disc - and frankly, I prefer not to put another HDD Seagate support because I prefer a 1 t Cavier Black SATA WD which I believe is one of the most reliable RESEARCH on the market right now, and I can buy it for around $200 instead of the $400 I uknderstand fresh HP for the same size of Seagate replacement.

Here's my question, can I just buy a new HDD WD and install it with my own final Win 7 x 64 without the HP recovery disks (they did not come with the new computer, and I had not yet created my own recovery disc).  Frankly I'd rather have a completely clean install of my Win 7 OS without the HP partition and other HP software on the HARD disk.  Is this possible or HP has some sort of identity with their software which must correspond with the BIOS or something like this?  REALLY, I don't want to return the computer to HP to get called into service because I just started a small business that involves a lot of video editing and I can't be without the computer for weeks, while HP is concerned with him (I've read the horror stories about the high cost of the repairs and the long repair time but I do not wish to keep my warranty if possible).

I have the same PC, only the model number has been changed.  Yes, you can use your own license W7 and install it on another drive or a replacement drive.  You can get the drivers from the HP site web support HPE-180 tfor your PC or other sources.

  • HP Pavilion Elite HPE-420 old graphics card?

Hello people, I just ordered the Pavilion Elite HPE-420 with the specs:

    CPU: i7 870 2.93 ghz.

Graphics card: Nvidia gt230 1.5 GB

    RAM: 6 GB ddr3

    Hard drive: 1.5 to

OS: windows edition Home premium 64-bit

Overall, not a bad pc, but "HP" made a huge mistake by using the Gt 230 graphics card since it is a remake of the geforce 9600 gt card? The gt 230 is not really a card you want in your system, these days, I have good or I am completely wrong?

BTW, I play a lot of games...

The HP HPE-420nl is here.  Other models of the HPE-420 have an ATI 5450 which is a 2.0 card.

  • How to add to my HP Pavilion Elite HPE-590uk Usb 3.0

Hi does anyone know if I can improve my HP Pavilion Elite HPE-590uk for usb 3.0 and if so could you recommend a product that I could buy to do this.  Thanks in advance.

    One of them check it:

    http://www.overclockers.co.UK/showproduct.php?ProdID=CC-003-AK

This is to use a pci-e x 1 card. You have 2 these slots available. This will show you how do:

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02255267.PDF

See the section on the replacement of a card.

Instead of plugging on the long black slot which is a video card plug into one of the slots black short. You have Windows 7 I think which means that you will need a driver, but that should come on a CD with the card. Will need you a power connector (molex) on the map, too.

HP Pavilion Elite HPE-500f desktop PC - I would like to upgrade food, video card and hard drive. Can I use a SATA III hard drive? Can I use a 4 Gig ATI video card? You can use a SATA-III HDD but the 785G chipset only supports SATA-II. You won't see any difference, and the SATA-III is backward compatible. You have a 300W power supply. You can put in a better and with a minimum 500 or 600 watt PSU, you can install any videocard, pcie 16 x which will be in good physical shape. In retail offices, there is simply not as much space as in a custom build Tower and best video cards these days are huge things two locations. Don't forget, it fits with room to spare, or you will have problems of air circulation.

  • HP Pavilion Elite HPE - 532 s: 'Secure Boot Configuration' not found?

Hello support, I wanted to disable startup secure for my office.
I have a pavilion Elite HPE - 532 s Bios 7.15 I followed the step of many posts, but I don't have it under the heading "security"?
    I am on window 10 64-bit UEFI.
I wanted to disable, because I have a new GTX 960 graphics card and it stuck on the HP logo at startup all the time when I use the new card. !!

I tried to disable the security slot, but no matter what I do I get a black screen for my card both old and new so I have to reset the bios settings.
    Help me please.

    Thanks for the additional information.

    Here is my diagnosis/notice:

I don't think you'll be able to get the GTX 960 to work with this system.

Why it won't work in the UEFI/GPT:

It will not work in the UEFI [I think] 960 GTX is one card of UEFI and you must disable secure boot to make it work. Your BIOS is only "UEFI compatible" originally planned for Windows 7 [which does not support secure boot]. If you are unable to disable the secure startup, you can not use this card.

Why it won't work in legacy/MBR:

It won't work in legacy because it's a single card of UEFI.

    My suggestion:

Return to the legacy/MBR and use a graphics card that has a dual BIOS BIOS/hybrid or one who supports in particular the Legacy BIOS as described in one of my previous posts.

    Some other things to consider:

You PSU has enough power for this card? I think it takes a minimum of 400W PSU.

You connect the auxiliary power connector?

Have you tried to disable "Intergrated Graphics" in the BIOS [as appropriate]

No, the GTX 950 requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  There is no way to update the motherboard in the UEFI.  Latest video cards do not for UEFI were the GTX 660/670.  I suggest that you choose a manufacturer and contact their Technical Support to help them choose the best card for your system.

You will also need to upgrade the power supply (PSU).  It is only 300W.  Most newer cards require at least 400W to work properly.  Although status map specifications at least 300 w, members reported that they had at least to 400W.

  • HP Pavilion Elite HPE-035sc: msi iona 1.0 ms-7613 can handle a gtx 750ti?

    Hi I have a

HP Pavilion Elite HPE-035sc desktop PC i7 870 2.9 ghz 8 GB ram

    Serial number: [personal information]

    Product number: VS311AA

BIOS: american megatrends Inc. 5.13, 03/03/2010

    BIOS mode: legacy

    OEM power 460w

I would like to know if the motherboard can support the gpu or not

Please answer as soon as possible

    Thank you < 3

    Greetings,

750ti GTX requires BIOS version 8.xx.

This card to initialize not due to lack of UEFI support in the BIOS.

Discover the Nvidia 600 series graphics cards as they will run on a legacy PC BIOS. The 600 series cards can run on a PCIex16 Gen1 slot. I have not checked this.

I've seen information indicating that some AMD manufacturers ship AMD cards with the ability to switch between legacy and UEFI BIOS.

Check out it at Sapphire Tech.

So these four cards do not work when it is combined with adequate food on a legacy BIOS PC with a PCIE x 16 Gen2 slot.

The PC can have only one slot PCIex16 Gen1. The cards are not compatible in this case.

You will need to check the prospective: graphics card power and the dimensions of upgrade to check both will fit your turn.  We must also find a graphics card that runs on a slot PCIex16 Gen1.

    See you soon!

  • Pavilion Elite HPE: Network adapter missing?

Greetings. My Pavilion Elite HPE is about 2-3 years of age. Recently, he has crashed hard and does not work. I was able to reinstall Windows 7, but I lost all my data and programs. Now, the computer works, but cannot connect to the internet. HP said to contact Microsoft and Microsoft told to contact HP. Then Microsoft recalled and said tell HP computer model number and they can tell you which network card is necessary. Then I can download? Not sure if I need to hardware, software, drivers, etc.. Help, please!

OK, try this. Apologies, I took a guess, but I didn't know that you don't have another PC in the House. If it wasn't that, I was hoping that you can upload to another PC and try the others. It must be one of these two (probably the first):

Original Realtek Networking Controller Driver 7.26.902.2010 Rev a 1.7 MB 10 June 2013 download terms of use details HP

Pretty sure that the second one is for your ethernet port. You want to install this one too, if you think you'll connect at any time directly to a router via the ethernet adapter.
