Pavilion Elite m9077c mystery card mother front USB 2 cable location
After replacing a defective on my Pavilion Elite m9077c PSU, I have a white cable not identified from the slot to USB before IPIBL - motherboard ASUS 2 which ends with a mount of squeeze and I think it is a connector type B four-pin USB. Please tell me what it could be.
Looks like you have disconnected a little more that you should have. This connector must be the memory card reader on your box to the motherboard USB header.

I have a HP Pavilion Elite e9120y PC with mother board M2N78 - LA. When it is turned on, it goes to the initial power of HP on screen (ESC, F10, F11 & F9) and stays there. The only time where could I get F10. He showed no boot device. What is a motherboard completely dead? Is there a similar replacement that will not affect installed licensed software?
There are several revisions of the Council M2n78 - LA. (like LasVegasWireMan) would testify. What is happening is the NVidia chip controller fails. You said "the only time I could get F10. She showed no boot device. " That really explains it. Your motherboard is bad.
I worked to create the list, but it never gets done.
This series of motherboard has been installed in many different models of HP computers. There are problems.

Here are the models reported with the guidance of M2N78LA failed. This is not the complete list.

Hi, I am looking to replace my stock with another direct replacement video card. I don't want to buy a new power supply or something. I want just a straight line to the top of bolt on / bolt off the coast of replacement. My stock video card is a
* NVIDIA GEFORCE 9800GT
* HP Pavilion Elite M9350f
I'm not sure of other specs, but it's the card and the PC model. I see all these different specifications in the new video cards which make me confused. An advisor to a new card will be appreciated gathering.

This will give you all the information you need.
Here is a link to a 9800 GT:
XFX is a manufacturer of very high quality. They make their cards for high range players. Make sure you measure the space for the card and check your diet to ensure that it will support this card.
I have the Pavilion Elite HPE-570f (BV542AA) Windows 7 ultimate with 16 GB of ram upgraded and an upgrade
HARD drive with 7200 RPM. The P/S is a 460w and ATI Radeon HD 6770 with only 1Gig vram. I would like to upgrade the video card up without compermizing the P/S.
Does anyone have any ideas.
The NVIDIA GTX 550TI would be a nice bump in performance.
I work on a Pavilion Elite m9400f for a friend and would like to know how to determine the video card installed in order to get the correct drivers and configure properly. He "cannot" be the card that came with the machine...
Thanks in advance!

Fred, here are the pages of the 'product details' for the computer. In the Product Specifications section, that's what he said:Video Graphics
I want to upgrade my ATI Radeon HD4350 (of dedicated 512 MB graphics memory) card in my computer HP Pavilion Elite e9220f so that I can run at optimum speed, newly acquired game Microsoft Flight Simulator X Gold. In addition, a power supply unit update would be necessary? What else may need to change? I have installed:

The system estimated at 4.1 performance due to the ATI Radeon HD 4350 (tastes of Flight Simulator X Gold optimal 5.0?)

Available graphical game 8443MB total graphics memory rated at 5.9
615GB free hard drive rated at 5.9
BASE SCORE = 4.1
Thanks a lot for any advice.
GPU - Z done! ATI Radeon HD 4350 bandwidth memory is of 8.0 GB/s & type of memory is DDR2 (Samsung). It fits into my 1 PCI x 16 graphics card slot. BTW, my power supply is 300W , and can my expansion slot 1 PCI Express x 1 minicards to serve somehow?
Thank you very much for your prompt response and excellent advice!
Hi guys, im using a HP Pavilion Elite 340uk desktop computer that came with a Geforce GT320 video card. The map is gone... dead disappeared and I'm looking for a better replacement. Can I get some suggestions of compatible with my motherboard (MS-7613) graphics cards. ? So, if I change this card with a better, should I upgrade of feeding as well? Thanks for your help.
My recommendation would be to get a GT430... you won't need to change the P/S.
Just make sure you get one with an interface 128-bit for the best performance memory (I think there may be a few models with a 64-bit memory interface).
I want to add a 4xUSB3.0 to my pc card, using a PCI Express x 1 connector; the card has a molex connector 4 pins to the power supply.
The problem is that on the cables coming out of the power supply unit I have not free connectors, except a connector 6-pin female designed for a graphics card. I can't find any commercial cable to connect the female connector 6 pin mentioned the molex 4 pin of the card.
Can you help me please?
You will need to tap into an existing SATA power connector, either go to an optical drive or a hard drive.
This adapter should work.
Hello, I need help!
I have Pavilion dv7 - 4150 notebook sr and his mother is damaged.
Would you please provide the part number so I can replace it because there are no manuals or any other information with part number for my motherboard.
I'd appreciate a lot.
Thank you in advance.
Here are the specs:
We need to understand from the Manual:
the motherboard you have. You have the i7-720QM with 1 discrete graphics Radeon gig (switchable actually) and you have the subwoofer, so it's your motherboard:
With ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 subsystem separate graphics card, 1 GB of dedicated memory (Quad Core) and the subwoofer v.1.1 615313-001
Not cheap on amazon.com:
I couldn't find it on eBay. You can try HP Partsurfer but usually the price there is about the same as amazon.com.
If I know that you were really interested, perhaps we can expand the search to find it at a lower price, but I expect it to be much less than maybe $175 it is a motherboard upscale a few years and get harder to find new.

I have a Hp Pavilion laptop which the warranty period has expired. A few days ago, he got shut down and never restarted. To the service center, I learned that the motherboard of the laptop is faulty and must be replaced. Can I get my motherboard replaced? If Yes, then this could be the costs involved to get a new motherboard, if my PC has an Intel i5 processor 4th generation? HP company will replace the part of the authorized service center?
Motherboard part number:
Intel Core i5-4200U 8670 M 1.6 GHz (1 GB DC BGA 15 W) for use with Windows Standard 737669-501
They are expensive because it's the card motherboard and CPU together.

I have 3 PCI slots on my MB, with one holding a sound card, a clogged by the video card fan shroud and one who holds a small card that I have no idea what its purpose. There are 3 black wires and a blue wire coming out, somewhere up towards the top of the front of the case. Nothing branch anywhere where I can see. Just had this thing in August and really not a not probe the guts too - worked fine right out of the box. Except now, I need to install an IEEE 1394 card for audio application. Does anyone have an idea what is this little extra card? Insofar as I can find no record of HP.
It's him! will tear this sucka outta there and stick to an IEEE 1394 card - integrated firewire chipset is not like me. Thank you, guys.
What's weird, is that I shot to the top of the page even Mumbodog gave out in a hyperlink. It is not the same layout and doesn't mention the network card. But it's the HP product support page, and the model number is the same. Strange.
I want to replace the video edge in this computer with a video card. I want to use a card geforce n210 1 gb ddr3 pci express dvi/hdmi. Anyone know if it will work. It seems that this is what I see so far, but I'm not a computer person. I want to be able to put a tc in my TV and be able to play some of the new games. Thanks for any help
The graphics card must be a PCIE x 16 compatible (for the expansion on the motherboard slot) one. Geforce n210 will definitely work, because it's a pcie x 16 card compatible USB2.0. You have a desktop computer, then that means that any pcie 2.0 x 16 graphics card might work and it's always on your wallet and the power of the power supply.
Hi HP, im asking if there is a replacement for HP pAVILION DV5-1050ee motherboard. What is the part number? Ive tried to search for the replacement of the motherboard but it only displays motherboards for intel processors , and not the Processors AMD tried to look... my laptop has been "struck" by the insects and my tech says the motherboard was faulty...
more info: I'm from the PHILIPPINES...
The old motherboard must have a part number. If you want to reuse other components you must same room. Others may work and may not, you want to take a risk?
I have a pavilion g7-2110ex laptop
How can I determine the SATA interface on the motherboard type?
Download Speccy and find disk hard details listed:
Don't worry, they are all compatible which means you can use a SATA 1 drive with a SATA 1/2/3 connection. It will suffer just a little in terms of performance
I have a huge problem
PC reinstalled with win7pro 64-bit and as a single partition on the HD, no recovery partition hole.
When I install drivers HP relinquish power in the building, at the time I was updating the bios, I have now it is a very bad question, for the moment I'm not able to boot the PC with no thr ROM bios, only a black screen and a large number of PIF.
I see that the motherboard have som jumperes to 7 pins, with a text "bios recovery.
Is it possible to enter a new bios for the ROM, somehow?
Or is it a new motherboard?

Hi there @DK-bjarnep
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff.
I understand you are trying to recover from a BIOS installation failure.
Since the system does not have a recovery, or tools, partition the BIOS recovery method is not possible. The support page has an update for the BIOS, so this isn't really an option more. During a search, I couldn't find this updated version.
