Pavilion g6 2303 sh dedicated AMD Radeon HD 7670 M graphics card not detected win 7

Hi, I have a g6 2303 sh laptop pavilion. I use win 7 x 64. I downloaded the driver for my videocard of 7670 M AMD Radeon HD hp page: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4132&lc=hu&cc=hu&dlc=hu&sw_lang=&product=5354...

and after trying in vain for the amd home page. None of them does not detect my video card.

This page only shows drivers hp for win8, which I won't use.

Where can I find a driver for my video card?

Thank you

Tom

Hi, Tom:

Use the W7 x 64 drivers of th is model g6.  For graphics, simply use the graphics driver AMD, Intel, not one.

DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK

Hello Forum, Im not good in graphics card. I know in the internet there is a genius people on graphics card. I want to ask Can I improve/replace my current graphics card AMD Radeon HD 8670 m to an AMD Radeon HD 8770 M when I read things on the AMD Radeon HD M 8770, all I get is the 8770M is better suited for laptop 13 inch or more. My laptop is 14 inches as you can see in the name of the product. Does this mean that I can buy the graphics card upgrade and replace The Old One? Also I have not only 1 card graph. I have 2 graphics card which is AMD Radeon 8610 g + AMD Radeon 8670 m Dual Graphics. If I replace the current 8670 m can I Dual Graphics with 8610 g + 8770M? If it doesn't work for Dual Graphics what should I do? My Budget is about 100 + Dollar. I just really want to upgrade for my graphics today to a better because I want to play a H1Z1 called game and other games with graphics way and better performance. Also, do I need to change or get a new CPU, if I want to upgrade the graphics card 8770M? Please give me the best and the BEST answer. It does not take a genius. The answer is simply not and the reason is that the video system is part of the motherboard. There is no upgrade slot, where you can just plug something better and different. With a laptop, you're stuck pretty well with what the factory put there.

    Hello youphonguyen,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand there is not no driver installed AMD, because of the message that you receive on the computer. I looked up the product and it turns out that there is no legitimate AMD driver for Windows 7 64 bit running on this computer. The evidence is here: drivers PC laptop HP Pavilion g4-2312tx

My suggestion to you is to install Windows 8 or 8.1, since there is an AMD driver for these operating systems. I apologize for the inconvenience. I would like to know if there is anything else I can help you. Thank you!

  • Switchable Graphics (AMD Radeon HD 7670) problem in Hp Pavilion g6 2305tx-windows 8.1

    Hello

I would like to draw your kind attension to this serious problem, which I do face with AMD Mobility Radeon HD7670 driver for windows 8.1

I use Hp pavilion 2305tx g6 that has double graphics. I bought it 6 months ago and it cost about 60 grand in Bangladesh.

I was using Windows 7 and everything was fine. I could play every game I want, but after upgrade to 8.1 window, I am facing this switchable graphics problem. Device manager shows that driver was installed correctly but when I go to high performance for any game, it (game) is not responding but game can start without any problem in IE graphics Intel HD 4000 I cannot use my dedicated graphics card which I bought this laptop!

Here too, no driver to blueooth. Specifically the driver Ralink RT 3290 Bluetooth. I found the driver for this hardware, but not suitable for windows 8.1. Okey BT is not a big problem, but what about the graphics driver? What is Hp? sleep? Where the drivers updated for Windows 8.1? How long I have to wait? As I brought it BDT 60 grand I have right to ask for updated driver and I want to that they as soon as POSSIBLE.

Again, I chart AMD Radeon HD 7670 in my laptop and driver is correctly installed, but every time I spend my graphics to high performance I cann't play any game. It's because I'm not have good drivers for Windows 64-bit os 8.1.

I've been looking for this driver for months, but I don't get a updated driver for AMD mobility radeon 7670.

Please, I beg you! publish drivers for windows 8.1 updated 64-bit os.

The problem is resolved. It took 6 months but in the end I finally thought to her

    Follow the steps precisely

    1. open this Pc or workstation then go to uninstall or change a program

2 appears in the list, you can see graphics driver Intel & AMD Catalyst install manager. You must uninstall both in express mode so that no other previous parameter no longer exists.

    3. Firstly, uninstall the Intel Graphics driver. If you are asked for a restart of the pc to go for it.

    4. that the list appears, you can see AMD Catalyst install manager, right click and uninstall in express mode. Uninstall all components of AMD. Restart your PC because you will be asked.

    5. go on this Pc or my PC and then drive C. open Program Files and Program Files (x 86) the two of them, if you use the 64-bit operating system. In the search box write AMD and you find some removal files remaining them all.

    6. now your PC is free of previous records and other files. Although the right, click on sign Windows and Device Manager. You'll see graphic cards and uninstall both. This step is not necessary, but just to be sure that your PC has not previously installed drivers.

    7. open your browser and download the latest graphics driver for your PC Intel. My driver was Win64_153322. Install it. If you install it correctly you're at half way through. Restart your PC, if she needs.

8 go to the AMD web site and download the latest version of the driver. To avoid the complexity best option is to download Autodetect. Because he will choose the best suitable driver for your system. The file name is amddriverdownloader.

    9. open the amddriverdownloader file and download the driver. Download will end and it will automatically start the installation. Install it in express mode. Restart your PC because you will be asked to do.

    10. I hope your driver problems will be solved. To check it out go to Device Manager and see if the drivers are installed properly. Turn on the CCC and try to play a game of High Performance. You will see that the problem is solved.

Here's how I solved my problem of graphics from AMD. I've been suffering since I installed Windows 8.1 right after being released and today 15 Jun 14, I solved the problem. I can play any game in now high performance.

If you think that my opinion is useful to you, please share it.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook PC g6: my AMD Radeon 7670 M does not have my games.

I have a laptop with Intel core I7 (HD Graphics 4000) and also an AMD Radeon HD 7670 M. When I play video games who need a lot of performance (League of legends and others), it's only the Intel who gets recognized, the Radeon does not work, is not recognized, I tried to install the latest drivers, I also download the Catakyst AMD control center, it does not even run, it is said that there is no product AMD in my computer. I tried many solutions, nothing worked. I need serious help now. Please help:'(.)

You are having driver problems, I just stick solution that I posted in another thread on how to properly install the latest graphics drivers, follow these steps as they will, and you should be fine, if you are having problems just post here and I or someone else in the community will help you, here go us:

    1. download DriverSweeper: Driver sweeper, run it and remove all the ati drivers or amd he finds, reboot

2 Download this then: drivers Intel, install it and run it, let it find your drivers intel and once it does not download them, after he made this work install them and restart

    3. Download this: AMD drivers, I recommend you to download the latest amd driver (15,4 you can find if you scroll once the link opens) for your system and your card, after it downloads install and reboot

Now you should have switchable graphics and catalyst enabled, after that, you can set any application of high performance or power saver, high performance active dedicated graphics card (7670 m) when you run application and energy-saving current integrated graphics card.

It could be useful, good luck.

In the example below, the 4-pin ATX plug is marked.  Below that is the plu, followed by 3 of PCIEx1 PCIEx16 slot.

  • AMD Radeon HD/Intel switchable graphics

    Hello

Since I upgraded to window 10 I can't use my AMD Radeon hd graphics card.

and I have not choice on most catalyst to switch from one card to the other, what I can do, basically my computer run only on intel HD graphics card, without any open gl, no games more...

    Thank you

    HP Pavilion dv7 - 6B 00 series

    flcph2015

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the situation is that you should not do the upgrade of Win10.  Their upgrade tool has done a really poor job of detecting switchable graphics before the updrade, and as a result, people like you end up with machines that are no longer fully functional.  Same thing happened to me.

With switchable graphics, the only work pilots come from OEM making machines, because the material is suitable, so having to be engines.  MS does not supply these drivers any more than the video card manufacturers.

So, without driver HP Win10 for your PC, you're stuck with only two results:

    (1) keep Win10 and faced with the problem of graphs

    (2) to return your PC to the original operating system.

I chose the second because I prefer a PC with an OS more old where everything worked, to a PC with a new operating system, where things don't work.

  • Re: Satellite C855-155 - AMD Radeon HD 7610 display driver does not work

    Hello

My laptop Toshiba Satellite C855-155 2 years, used to run the display driver AMD Radeon HD 7610 (V8.932.5.3000 January 20, 2012). Suddenly, it no longer works. Login screen looks scrambled. I can only start the laptop with the Standard VGA driver but the screen resolution is 1024 x 768 (not the 1366 x 768 normal) and no screen dimming, automatic off tension or sleep/hibernate functions is not working either.

What do you recommend? Is it a hardware failure?
    Thank you in advance,
    Seçkin

    Hello

Have you tried to reinstall the display driver?
    > What do you recommend? Is it a hardware failure?
Best test you can do is to back up all your important data and reinstall original recovery image and test your machine with the factory settings. If the problem persists it may be hardware related issue.

Now under "other devices" it shows graphics video VGA driver for this device is not installed and am not able to install them either. "

My HP LED monitor works fine. But I would have my back HD 7670 times registration

MY system is a HP ENVY PHoenix h9t-1300 8 64-bit windows. Intel i5-3570 3.4 GHz, 24 MB of RAM

    Thank you

It's strange. I reinstalled several times without any problems.

Try this: remove Catalyst Install Manager from Control Panel - programs and features.

If you have to restart,... restart.

In Device Manager, remove the current graphics card and charge it.

Try to reinstall the graphics driver AMD unified. If this does not work I guess you have to contact HP support.

You may need to use restore factory HP after all.

    Sorry, I couldn't help. Wait...

You can also try a Win Refresh or reset. Here is a link with instructions. Or you can try the Microsoft System Restorefirst. Bring your system back to a restore point before the update chart attempt.

  • The best replacement for an AMD Radeon 8670 D integrated graphics

I have a HP ENVY AMD A10 - 6700 3.7 GHz APU with integrated graphics AMD Radeon 8670 D. I have 16 GB of RAM and a 300 Watt power supply. I am running windows 8.1, the machine is surprisingly fast and HD is decent integrated graphics have come a long way! I don't play games but don't watch much programming on my HDTV. So I wonder what would be the best graphics card which is $ 100 or less with what I have, I have a PCIe x 16 slot 2.0 I think. And please recommend a food FRO the card. Thanks in advance, josh

You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.

Your budget makes it a bit difficult to find a video card that would meet your needs.  However, here is a card which I think will do what you need.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.  It requires only a power supply (PSU) 350W runs correctly.  So it's up to you, but you might try to see if it works with the existing PSU.  If you have problems with installation, see the guide I provided in my previous post carefully.

Now, if you decide to buy a power supply, I love OCZ and Corsair.  They are passionate about quality for a good price.  The PSU is not the place to save money in a computer.  It is the backbone.  I suggest at least 500W.  This will give you some leeway for future updates.  The OCZ PSU's modular.  They are good in a smaller housing because you only use the cables needed.

recently, I bought windows8 and updated.

System couldn't mobily detect ati radeon HD 5000 series (microsoft corporation - WDDM v 1.20)

I'm getting the device as a status

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

    The requested operation failed.

    in the Device Manager.

HP did not provide the bearable drivers for windows 8.

I installed the driver that has been given for windows 7

Please help me find the drivers

This model is not designed and qualified for windows 8, there was no windows 8 at the time this PC has been designed. This PC has not seen pilots of dual graphics for windows 8 that is why you may not be able to use discrete graphics card (AMD). your PC is running on Intel Graohic card only.

  • Pavilion dv6: ATI Graphics Card not included

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 I bought end of 2010 (see specifications below) with 'Intel core i5' card 'ATI Mobility Radeon Premium Graphics"included (just like the stickers on my machine ad).

However, the other day I was certainly a bit stupid, I'm an irritable person, but I decided to download updates for my ATI driver on the AMD Web site. However after a few days later so I found that the card had ceased to operate, disappear from my device manager and my CCC catalyst has stopped working. After some research, I decided to uninstall my AMD Catalyst stuff (practically everything what I downloaded the other night was included inside), which automatically chose my graphics card for the "Intel(r) HD Graphics" card which is really bad as I play on this computer.

I tried reinstalling my ATI card via the AMD Web site but nothing actually installed other than directories and I also tried the Recovery Manager that doesn't work anymore. I decided to uninstall AMD Installation Manager to erase everything which AMD button and try to get help here online.

Here are my features of laptops:

    Family Premium in Windows 7 (x 64)

    Intel (r) Core i5 CPU

    HARD DRIVE 500 GB

4 GB RAM (8 GB of RAM now after a recent upgrade of RAM)

1 GB graphics card (ATI Mobility Radeon Premium graphics, the card that does not work)

A big thank you to anyone and everyone who can be useful, I would really appreciate it!

    Thank you

  • HP pavilion p6226it: can I upgrade my pc with a new graphics card?

Hi, I have a hp pavilion p6226it, I would like to know if the graphc 7750 HD card would go well on my old pc.

    matherboard: M2N78-(Violet6)

    Processor: AMD Athlon II X 4 620

    RAM: 6 GB

    Graphics card: HD 4650

Same expert people told me that I could have problems because of my matherboard and bios (I've never updated), is this true?

    @antonmartino,

Hi again.  Just below the section for memory you'll find.  What you can do is take existing specifications and the specifications of the motherboard and see what card maximum that you can put in the slot.  The only thing you want to look at is what is the power required by the new map you found and if the power supply has enough power to stay with her horse.  If you talk to any place of the computer with the specifications of this page, that I gave you, they can give you the best option.  What I do is take the listed specifications of the card and match the cards, in that you are looking to put.  Check to see if it's the same dwelling and look to see if they require the same requirement for voltage and they should work perfectly.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks again for the post and have a great day.
