  I zipped and attached to the driver that you are interested in below.

  Download and uncompress the file in its folder.  Don't do anything with the files in the folder.

  Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus who need the pilot.

  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

  You must use IE10 or IE11 to correctly access the support pages.

  If you use IE9 then you need to make some changes...

  1. for pages works properly, you must use Internet Explorer 10 or 11.

  It is a problem for some of us who climb to IE9 such as those who have Vista or a new install of W7.

  The workaround to get IE8 or IE9 to access the page of the pilot is to:

  1. activate the command bar at the top of the browser (click just to the right and check the option of command bar).

  2. then click on the small arrow to the right of the Tools menu.

  3. click on compatibility view settings

  4 uncheck use Microsoft compatibility lists.

  5. close and refresh the page.

  Thanks for the reply. Please try to run the HP Support Assistant for updating the BIOS. If HP Support Assistant does not have the update, then there may not be any newer BIOS for your laptop.

However, if you would like more information to help solve the problem, please let me know. So a few weeks ago, I noticed that my audio was very distorted (as you know that your laptop does when you work it, the sound the sound).   just install a print server on the network from my boss - netgearPS121v2.  everything is great with 2 Mac and a PC - everything can print, etc.

  all the macs print to print IP assistance and the appropriate driver.  for some reason, my boss pro macbook did not have the correct driver installed and all that is available to him is "HP Officejet J4680 series - Fax" that does not work.  I use the same macbook pro with the same system (10.6) and did not have a problem.  his machine was the Guinea pig for his assistant try to set up while on the phone with HP tech support.  (I was out of town and unable to install).  I have a feeling that this was an inadequate installation and hampered by technical support, try to fix it.

  any suggestions on how to completely uninstall the HP software so I can't completely re - install?

  Well Yes,.

  I guess that someone loaded the HP from the CD for the printer software (which is only 10.5 or earlier version).  Here's how to correct:

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Now run a software update.

  Then, remove and reinstall the printer in System Preferences, Print & Fax.

  You do not have the software now since Snow Leopard as well print & scan drivers built-in. scan from Preview apps or Image Capture. Scan from the front panel of the printer does not work yet.

  First of all, you can install all possible OS on your P305.
  It true s that the P305 has been pre-installed with the Vista operating system, but of course, you will be able to use other OS like Win XP

  Why you n t check the European driver Toshiba page and choose the show Satellite P300. It of similar to the Satellite P305 (U.S. series) and you'll find the Conexant audio driver!

  As far as I know at this time the 3.47.1.50 versions seems to be a more recent.

  Windows 10 has not yet released. Other vendors test their products too. It takes 8 or 9 months more. At this point, I believe that all sellers will release drivers for their products.

  Have you checked if the SSD drive needs a firmware update?
  In some cases, this is necessary, but in the worst cases, the SSD drive might not be compatible and this means that you need to test another :(

• Cannot install windows XP it said hard drives are not connected & windows can not find the hard drives

  I got an asus computer notebook windows vista, upgrade from vista to windows 7, now I'm not able to do a clean install of windows xp, when I try to install XP, it says that hard drives are not connected & windows cannot find not the hard drives, so once again installed windows 7, is there a way to overcome this problem Why do I get the message windows xp does not detect hard drives? I even formatted the hard drive & tried to install Xp, but still, I get the same message.

  Because the Windows XP installation CD does not have the necessary disk controller drivers.  You will need a floppy drive to provide the drivers of controller for the installation program, or you will need to burn a CD of Windows XP with the controller drivers slipstreamed into the installation.  A CD of Windows XP with SP2 included may have the necessary drivers.
