Pavilion H2L70AA #ABA: backup files to the WIM format
I had to do a restore system from the hard drive as Windows 10 would not work on my computer. I backed up my files before you do this on a system of Seagate. The files are saved to the WIM format and I'm unable to open or download. I had to find a way to open the Explorer and it came with a system, but I had viral alerts and had to get out. How can I recover my files? Thank you
Hey... hope that this works for you!

When you save a file to the [.jpg] format, I wonder to choose a quality from 1 to 100. What are the changes in the created file based on the selected quality setting? I would like to know what changes, so in the future, I can set my camera to one who will give me the highest quality in a first time, which allows me to make cultures and always preserve the quality.
Thank you

Thank you twenty-one... your answer of common sense to me.

Windows 8 backup files in the file appears
Hello community,
My Windows 8 HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14 Sleekbook stopped starting a few months ago usually (refresh and repair do not work) and I am now trying to see if I can get some files of it. I've sailed to the HP Recovery Manager and started backing up files using the user's selection, but I don't see one of my old files. Does that mean these files are definitely missing, and I can move on with my life? Or is there still hope and sustained misery...
Thank you
Kevin
Hello
HP Recovery Manager, which may have the option to save your files before a recovery to factory settings, is part of Recovery, not Microsoft the HP process.
You can ask in the HP Support Forums, what has gone wrong with it.

Combining three versions in a single backup file using the batch client/config file
Hello again,
Is there anyway to get three versions in a single backup file using a config file and the batch client, currently we have this Configuration file:
[General]
Operation = Multiple
Username =
Password =
URL = net. TCP://localhost: 5210, Oracle, Drm, ProcessManager
LogFileName=D:\DRM\VIPTBAU\LOG_FILES\logfile.log
[Activities]
OperationCount = 3
Operation1 = VIP_DIMENSIONS
Operation2 = ACCOUNT_RF
Existence3 = ACCOUNT_BS
[VIP_DIMENSIONS]
Operation = Backupversiontofile
Connection = MONTH_END_BACKUP
VersionAbbrev = TESTPROJ_VIP_DIMENSIONS
filename = VIP_DIMENSIONS
[ACCOUNT_RF]
Operation = Backupversiontofile
Connection = MONTH_END_BACKUP
VersionAbbrev = TESTPROJ_RF_ACCOUNT
filename = VIP_DIMENSIONS
[ACCOUNT_BS]
Operation = Backupversiontofile
Connection = MONTH_END_BACKUP
VersionAbbrev = TESTPROJ_BS_ACCOUNT
filename = VIP_DIMENSIONS
which generates three separate files. We tried using a single operation and listing the 3 times of the VersionAbbrev, but that didn't work and also list the 3 versions in a VersionAbbrev.
If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated
See you soon
Chris
DRM client batch supports export several versions of a single file and restore it back. You must specify the defined version name and the delimiter.
You can configure the cfg below the backup file
[General]
Operation = Multiple
Username =
Password =
URL = net. TCP://localhost: 5210, Oracle, Drm, ProcessManager
LogFileName=D:\DRM\VIPTBAU\LOG_FILES\logfile.log
[Activities]
OperationCount = 1
OP1 = VIP_DIMENSIONS
[VIP_DIMENSIONS]
Operation = Backupversiontofile
Connection = MONTH_END_BACKUP
VersionAbbrev = TESTPROJ_VIP_DIMENSIONS, TESTPROJ_RF_ACCOUNT, TESTPROJ_BS_ACCOUNT
filename = VIP_DIMENSIONS
Delimiter = comma
to restore
[VIP_DIMENSIONS]
Operation = RestoreVersionFromFile
Connection = MONTH_END_BACKUP
SourceVersionAbbrev = TESTPROJ_VIP_DIMENSIONS, TESTPROJ_RF_ACCOUNT, TESTPROJ_BS_ACCOUNT
TargetVersionAbbrev = TESTPROJ_VIP_DIMENSIONS, TESTPROJ_RF_ACCOUNT, TESTPROJ_BS_ACCOUNT
filename = VIP_DIMENSIONS
Delimiter = comma
Try it tested and it works very well

Just try to know if occult Microsoft my computer so that he could perform an update (Win 10 of course)
I got the 4 files to open, air conditioned and have several changes and was going to save all changes when my screen went black. I had to hard - boot the computer.
After doing Windows 10 made updates and the computer restarted with the PS and the 4 unsaved picture. When I went to save the file name
had the word 'restored' added to it.
If you have documents open in Photoshop and changes. If you have your photoshop preferences file manages the automatic backup settings. Each automatic backup recovery period a recovery file must be written for these documents. If your Machine is blocking you the original files of documents, either still on you computer unchanged if you have not any saved on them. When you open Photoshop, it should see recovering files it save on your documents. These recovery files will all have the update you do to your documents and writings in recovery files. However, any changes made after this last period of auto backup is not there. You lose these updates and all the States in the history of Photoshop that existed prior to the accident. Photoshop automatically opens all files in recovery, so you can get as much work as you can. When you save them and close documents or close without saving the document recovery files are deleted. Normally when you close Photoshop there are no open documents and therefore no recovery file.
Windows Update not mess with the application files or applications. It is always better not to run applications when windows update is running.

How to save files to the CD format/s drive Garage Band
While scanning the records of vinyl LP's, I want to save them in a format that will play on a common CD player (stereo, players car, string etc.) Is there a way to Garage Band for this? I found its default value of the .aif format that is not compatible with them. Otherwise, there are apps that convert .aif, .wav, etc.? I use OS x v10.8.5.
When you bounce the files analyzed in GarageBAnd, use the option shares to record the song on iTunes. Once the song in iTunes, you can use iTunes to burn an audio CD. And if you have iTunes value for import using the WAV encoder (in iTunes > Preferences > import settings), then you will be able to export the song on iTunes in the WAV format.

Size of the strange changes when you save the file to the jpeg format
Hi all!
I have a small question (I think!). I have some images I save as jpeg files. So, I noted today that alone (it worked fine yesterday) when I go to save the file on the web, the size of the image changes of 400 high px to 430 px high. I select nothing do each file change like that. There is a white box at the top of the image (which is not well 4 my image). When I reduce the size of the jpeg - it reduces the image (so the rest of the white area).
Does anyone have a suggestion? What happened with more than one image.
Thanks 4 your help, Marty
If you have to convert to jpg images, use photoshop.
If white is on top is 30 pixels, then you have a point in your document or something that is not visible, but adds the frame enclosing the image. Make a command Y in illustrator to see if something is there. Also, if you place images in Illustrator, your original image can have a clipping path or something that adds to your bounding box.

Pavilion WA782UA #ABA: need help for the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver
Hello
I have recently reinstalled Windows 7 after putting in a new drive hard 1Terabyte. I then had problems with Windows Update, and just my overall use of my laptop has been slower. After reading on other forums with people who got similar error messages from Windows update told me to update my driver Intel Rapid Storage Technology. (Link forum here)
However when I visit my list of drivers on the HP site, I find not the Intel RST driver to update. Can someone direct me to the Intel RST driver that corresponds to my laptop?
Laptop HP Pavilion dv6 - 2173cl
Hello:
You must use this version... you want the 3rd file listed on the left.

Do not click on the most recent version of the driver is available because it is too recent for the chipset has your PC.

Restore backup files after the new installation of Vista
I recently had to replace my main hard drive as it has completely crashed and burned. Fortunately, I thought, I had been diligently backing up to an external hard drive. So after replaced by a fresh hard drive and a new installation of Vista, I thought I could just restore these files from backup... but no luck. New Vista does not recognize the old Vista backup. And it will allow me to migrate these files in any usable fashion. Is it possible for me to get the new Vista installation to access these backups from the previous installation of Vista?
Hi Allisonerik,
(1) what happens when you try to restore?
(2) you get an error message?
(3) was it a file, or a backup system image?
I want to clarify if your backup media (external hard drive) is recognizing in Windows.
Method 1: Put the computer to boot and then check to see if you can restore
Follow step 1 in the link below,
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7Important: n ' forget not to put the computer to a normal startup follow step 7 in the link.
Method 2: Check your external hard drive to find errors
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/check-your-hard-disk-for-errors
Note: CHKDSK would attempt to recover bad sectors on the hard disk, in the course of this process there are chances of DATA loss from that particular area.

When you try to restore the backup files, receive the error code 0 x 80070015 in Vista
I backed up my system on an external hard drive to reinstall windows vista home. When I try to restore the files to a backup location get a meesege saying device is not ready and the error code 0 x 80070015. I was told that vista home edition is unable to restore files, then why allow them to be saved as. I really need to restore my files back. Please help me...
Try to start safe mode and see if you can restore from there. This was recommended to someone else with the same problem and same error message and it worked - so it can work for you (but no guarantees).
I hope this helps. If this isn't the case, after return and we will try to find another solution.
Good luck!
