Pavilion p001tx 3rd Gen: keyboard changes upgrade and hard drive for HP pavilion P001tx 3rd gen
Dear HP,
I am former HP employee worked for many years and big fan of HP.
I bought the HP Pavilion P001tx in November 2014.
question;
1. can you exchange or upgrade from keypad with backlight one?
2. can we exchange or upgrade the Normal Hard Disk 1 TB with SSHD 1 TB keyboard?
WebCam is too dull...
Thank you.
You misunderstand my role here. I do not work for HP and I'm not the order desk. I am a user final companions. The laptop has a program backup and restore installed where you can make the recovery discs or a USB key to reinstall the software factory on a new hard drive or SSD SSHD.
You will have to find a SSHD and will make install. HP does not offer that service and I also do not, of course. It can affect your warranty. If you let us know your country of residence, we can find a good deal on the parts you want.
If it's 'the Answer' please click on 'Accept as Solution' to the hekp others find.

Update of RAM and hard drive for Compaq 6710 b
Hey guys,.
I had Compaq 6710 b and I'll update my Ram and HARD drive on it with these (link here)
On the system view, it says memory: 1.99 Gb and the Crucial site gives these details:
Maximum memory: 4 GB
Slots: 2But I looked under the hood of the ram and only thing I saw was a simple location with stick of 1 GB (below Sorry for bad quality and light photos)
So then it just a single cell phone location? And I can buy a 1 x 4 GB DDR2 ram stick?
Thank you

In any case, I would like to get a memory card description that corresponds to my computer so I do not buy the wrong memory card. Characteristics of the witch, I do?
Is it possible to add another hard drive to the computer instead of the Conference on disarmament and please tell me what parts do I need to buy and what is the maximum. Storage hard drive which may include my computer? There now 4RAM internal memory and 500 GB hard drive.
I would like to make my PC as strong as possible because I use it for work with heavy programs editing and I need a lot of internal memory.

Hello.
I think you can install the drive and use your recovery disk to reinstall Windows.
You can change the hard drive of your computer with a WD one Pavilion, just keep in mind that you need a 2.5 inch drive. In addition, if your Pavilion model is dv6500 or more, it has a SATA-II interface, but you can always take a drive SATA-III and it will not work (although will run at the lower speed of SATA-II).
Here, you want to take a look at all our 2.5-inch drives:

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any additional questions.
See you soon!

Upgrading the hard drive for T43
I have a T43 I want to upgrade the HDD on. Currently, I have the original 80 GB hard drive, but I would like to know if I could upgrade to a 320 GB hard drive. I am interested in the ability, the speed does not necessarily. My system supports a hard drive of this size?
I don't know what kind of information is required in order to call this judgment, but here are some of the specs of my computer:
Windows XP (service pack 3)
1 GB memory
Pentium M clocked at 2 GHz
Thanks in advance!
With the latest version of the BIOS, you will be informed of the error, but the machine will start normally beyond this point.
There are two types of adapters ultrabay, one for PATA and one for SATA drives. No restrictions on what you can install in them, as long as the drive type is.
I hope this helps.

Upgrade the hard drive for ThinkPad R61 (7743-AB3) questions, please.
Dear all,
I got ThinkPad R61 (7743-AB3) and want to update my hard drive.
Few questions need your help, please.
1. able to use SATA3, so yes, it's worth? Performance would be limited due to the SATA1 compatibility?
2. size of 1 t can be taken in charge, right?
Thank you very much!
Best regards
Simon
Yes, backward compatibility is supported.
Google for "MIddleton BIOS" and make sure to install the version corresponding to your model, if you are interested in a modded BIOS.
Good luck.

Upgrading the hard drive for a larger
I have a PC with Windows 7 and a 150 GB hard drive that is nearly full, so I bought a new 1 TB hard drive. I want to swap the drives so that the new disc has all the system files and data from the old. I can do that by creating a system with Windows Backup Image and then restaurant on the new drive. Are there instructions step by step to do this? Thank you very much
Thank you for your help. The instructions in this link requires a third hard drive, I did not. Is it possible to partition my new drive in two drives and then use the new partition as the backup drive? I guess that this would require the system recovery can restore from a partition of one hard disk to another.
Is this possible?
Hard Drive manufacturer provide normally cloning software to do what you want to do.
Their cloning software allows you to move the operating system installed on the old hard drive to the new hard disk.
Look at their website or contact them directly for more information about this.
See you soon.

Ask about upgrading the hard drive for X230T
Hello world
My post here so apologies if an error. I have a model x230T 3434-CTO (fairly old )
It has 180 GB SSD drive, which is quite less and I intend to improve it with a larger capacity SSD. I researched and found that my options are
(1) normal SATA III SSD as samsung 840 evo
http://www.Amazon.com/Samsung-Electronics-evo-Series-2-5-inch-MZ-7TE250BW/DP/B00E3W1726 [/ URL](2) mSATA SSD like Samsung MZMTE512HMHP 512 GB mSATA SSD Solid slate Drive Mini PCI - E mSATA
http://www.Amazon.com/PM851-Internal-Solid-State-Drive/DP/B00HWI56DE [/ URL]I'm not an expert in hardware and need advice from members here. My query is these 2 types of ssd compatible with my X 230 model (model x230T 3434-CTO) and are there any specification of ssd, I must keep in mind while making the order. ?
I plan to buy one 512 GB mSATA and I already 180 GB normal intel SSD on the laptop.

TREXWelcome to the forum!
The SSD/HDD in the Bay of 'main' should be 7mm, it is one thing to keep in mind.
As regards mSATA - you can choose any one you want - and your current choice seems to be a reasonable, although I've never personally used the disk in question.
FWIW, I have a 80 GB Intel mSATA in my X220T as boot drive and a 500 GB HDD classic in the Bay of 'main' for the data.
Happy update.

new power supply and HARD drive for t350.it
Hi, I should install an ATI 4650HD on a t350.it, but the requirements of the system says I need a 400W power supply, while this pc has a 220 W one. Can someone confirm this for me? In this case, can I install a 500W power supply in this pc? Another question, it should be installed even a 500 GB Sata HARD drive, but the location that contains the drives are very close, you can see in the attachment to page 104 page signed 'disco rigído' with the G, can this cause a problem of high temperature? This pc is compatible with a Seagate Barracuda 500 GB SATA?
You are right. Is there an AGP version of the card. I just wanted to make sure that you were aware of the correct version. Many have made the mistake of buying the wrong type.
Yes, the PSU's power supply. Sorry for the use of the acronym without explanation. You will find it difficult to find a more powerful power supply which will be insert in your case. The 220W is about it. There is a lot of discussion on the forum about this problem. I don't want to specify on the thing, however. The amount of power supplied by a PSU is only as much as the system needs to run. It has the production capacity of 600W, does not mean that it will be clocked at that power all the time. It would not damage your motherboard (motherboard) If you have installed a.

Satellite A60-131: Question about upgrade RAM and HARD drive
I have a Toshiba Satellite A60 S-131, bought 2 years ago.
I want to know is it possible for me to upgrade (internal) for a superior ability to HDD 40 GB HARD drive and update my RAM to 512 MB on the rise. Also I already inserted a 256 MB DDR RAM in the empty memory slot almost 1 year ago.
Help will be appreciated.
Hi Pranjal,
You can definitley upgrade your hard drive for a larger version. You should find that a 80 or 100 GB will work fine. You should make sure that you get you a new disc with the same physical characteristics as you existing. The following link will help you remove the hard drive.
http://irisvista.com/tech/laptops/ToshibaA65/satA65_1.htmYou can also get a new hard drive with a more rapid rotation speed (5400 RPM or 7200 RPM).
I think that the maximum RAM for the A60 is 1.25 GB which includes 1 X fixed module (I presume yours is 256 MB, which means that you can install an additional module with a capacity up to 1 GB. Available in capacities of 256 MB, 512 MB and 1 GB of RAM modules.
Kind regards

Upgrade hard drive for computer laptop dv6626us
I searched for the hard drive on my laptop dv6626us upgrades. When I read the comments they seem to all be positive with regard to the replacement of my current (factory loaded hard drive). One of the concerns is that the computer has been delivered to the factory with Windows XP loaded. I don't see the comments of those who have Windows 8.
Upgrading the hard drive for the dv6626us with windows xp installed at the factory would be compatible with the hard disk depending on whether I have found as being compatible for windows 8.
recommended update: Seagate portable, SSHD hydrides disk HARD 1 TB Sata-600 n/p.
The hard drive I have on the computer named above is: WD Scorpio WD1600B EVS - training 60RST0 settings: LBA 312581808. This hard drive has been charged at the factory.
Hello mikee1960,
HP does not have hardware support for Windows 8 on any system purchased before October 1, 2011. Most of the Windows 7 drivers work in Windows 8.
Check out this page to see if your computer has been tested by HP with Windows 8.
You can run the Upgrade Wizard, which will scan your PC and report on what is currently installed on your PC is compatible with Windows 8. This guide was updated for Windows 8 provides lots of information which is needed for all those planning the upgrade.

Satellite P10: Question about the limits of upgrade of RAM and HARD drive
What are the limits to upgrade my laptop Satellite P10? Currently, I use 1 GB of RAM (2 x 512) and I still have the original 60 GB 4200 RPM HARD drive. I'm mainly interested in upgrading my hard drive to at least get a 7200 RPM 100 GB disc. Better would be one of the ones 24 hours server as Hitachi HTE721010G9AT00, I have just turned off my computer. Which one to take and are there limits (BIOS) (keeping in mind that there will be 200 and even the 250 GB drives next year)?
RAM: should I put two 200pin SO-DIMM 333 or 533 or should not change at all as it works very well and stabil now?
Hello
In my eyes you should follow the guidance of Toshiba line and must use the memory modules that are recommended in the user guide. But if you can also try to test with 400 Mhz or 533 Mhz. I think that each dealer notebook or memory could do that.
I think the BIOS might be able to handle the hard drive with capacity of 30 GB / 40 GB / 60 GB / 80 GB, Bus Master IDE with ultra DMA 100 synchronous
In my opinion the BIOS does not recognize the larger HARD drive. -
need a laptop keyboard and hard drive HP product number
Hi all!!!
My laptop keyboard and hard drive does not properly and I need to replace the two points. but I do not know the exact number of the product of the keyboard and the disk hard drive. A knowledge of the product number please help me.
Product model: HP Pavilion g6 - 1011TU Notebook
Product number: LQ893PA
Thank you
Migas
You will find figures for the product here in the service of maintenance & guide for the laptop G6. As far the hard drive will I highly recommend that you use SATA instead of SATA2 or SATA3 for the best compatibility with the interface of disk on the system board controller.

I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?
Hi KevinRy,
Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!
Unplug all external devices.
Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.
Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:
1.
Right-click my computerand then click Properties.
2.
Click the Advanced tab.
3.
Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.
4.
Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.
5.
Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.
Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.
Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.
Kind regards
Amal-Microsoft Support.

Upgrading the hard drive Hp Pavilion g6
Hello
I'm looking to upgrade my hard drive in my HP Pavilion g6-1d80nr. I do not move much. Should I get an external hard drive, a new internal hardrive or a SSD?
Thank you!
Joey
Hello
No, we do not use external HARD disk to replace the internal HARD drive. This means that you can quickly use the internal HARD drive or spend more money to get the fastest SSD (since it has no moving parts). It's to you actually. Since SDS is now very cheap good and that your machine will work more quickly (relatively) interms of performance / $, my suggestion: opt for one SSD.
Kind regards.
