Pavilion p6210y: SATA host adapter problem

Hey guys,.

I think I found a problem with the SATA host adapter in a desktop Pavilion p6210y.  I find it difficult to restore the system after a hard drive replacement, and I discovered that if I have TWO hard drive and the CD drive unplugged so the machine will start.  If I plug the hard drive OR the CD, then the machine hangs on the HP BIOS screen.  Output voltage of the PSU is normal.  I think the guest card (motherboard) is toast.

I did a little research, and it seems that it is a known problem with this motherboard.

HP P6210Y does not detect hard drive

This link may be the inlaid right.

Card failure causes a MCP chip overheating, which controls the SATA ports.

If you have the problem fixed in a hurry, I'd consider having a network adapter wireless usb external of your choice.

I use the Linksys AE3000 adapter dual band usb wireless with my HP 8200 Elite CMT on W8.1 64 bit and it worked without problem for months.

It works great using the drivers W7 that accompanies it.

Otherwise, you will have to wait for who knows how long for Mediatek fix the driver.

You can disable the card in the Device Manager or physically remove it from its support if you want to add a usb wireless network adapter.

Some of the reviewers said it did not work with W8/8.1, and some have fact.

All I can say is that I had no problem to use drivers W7 supplied on mine.

  • HP Pavilion G4 1003-TX: HP Pavilion G4 1003-TX adapter problem

Hello... I have HP pavilion 1003TX G4 laptop who cureently having graphic card problem. Technician in my place, said that is caused by the solder connection on my Radeon graphics card.  He said, it can be repaired, but the same problem will happen again soon unless I replaced my graphics card with a new.

In my laptop, I have a Radeon and Intel graphics card which I can move freely. My question is, if I change my Radeon for my Intel graphics card, is solved my problem of graphics card? Is my laptop still won't last long, unless I buy the new graphics card?

Please help me if you know the answer. Thank you

There is no way to pass. Two video systems are part of an electronic circuit integrated on the motherboard and if the Radeon graphics chip is bad the whole motherboard is bad. I wonder how the motherboard has been repaired? A lot of "technicians" use a very crude method of just warm up the video chip with a heat gun instead of making a more complicated "reball" of the video chip. A hack job is the last 3 months, but a good reball will last a year or more.

Once the video chip was repaired once it probably cannot be done again if your only option now is a replacement motherboard or a new laptop.

Only using three DIMMs will force the PC to run in single channel mode.

Your first consideration should be Support HP or HP sales during the consideration of upgrades or replacement of memory. If you want to consider other manufacturers of the best way to avoid memory problems is to contact one of the leading manufacturers of memory. I would recommend that you try the tools of these manufacturers: Corsair, Kingston andCrucial. Once you have determined the DIMMs that you need, then contact commercial or technical support to check that you have selected the correct DIMMS. If you buy directly from manufacturers, then they will stand behind their products.

  • HP Pavilion p6210y: Office flashing after upgrade Windows 10

I have a flashing desktop (goes black and office) after upgrade to Windows 10.  Once connected, it is fine for about 10-15 seconds, then it starts flashing. I couldn't do anything - click on anything except CTRL-ALT-DEL to go to the Task Manager.

I did the upgrade 2 x already. Before my first attempt, I do nothing with my PC - I did not update the driver. When I arrived the office flashing after improvement, I panicked and immediately brought back to Windows 7. I was able to get to the window of recovery during the period of 10-15 seconds just after the connection. Fortunately, he returned to Windows 7.

After the first test, I read a little about the similar problem and so I tried some of the proposed solutions - update the drivers on my PC, to disable reporting services Windows (all on 10 to win), to try to go to Safe Mode.

So I tried again. I updated all the things I can to update (for most drivers) before the upgrade. Do you have PC Clean up. I had the office flashes again. It's the same thing. So while they are flashing, I tried to disable the windows reporting services that is very difficult to do with the Office of flashing. He did nothing clearly. So I went in Mode without failure. After starting in safe mode, I got the normal screen for about 5 seconds, but a blue window quickly flashed and then the desktop on Mode without failure just turned black, only the visible cursor.

So, I rolled back to Windows 7 new.

I don't have a lot of things/programs on my PC that I uninstall programs right away if I know that I will not use. I do scan of cleaning/Virus from PC on a regular basis.

    Information about my machine:

    HP Pavilion p6210y

    Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit

    Video card: NVIDIA GEForce 9100

All the suggestions/help will be very appreciated.

The only thing that solved the issue is reset my machine while keeping my personal files.

I've never understood what really caused it.

Thus, after the upgrade when the screen is flashing, I have reset the PC.

  • How do the work of Illustrator CC Host Adapter?

I tried to set up a test Extension for Illustrator that uses the library of the adapter to the host, but Illustrator CC seems simply never to load the plugin of the adapter to the host.

I use the Extension Builder 2.1 test and Illustrator CC (17.1.0 64-bit) on Windows 7.  The AIHostAdapter.aip files are in the correct Plug-ins\Extensions folder, and the AIHostAdapter is listed when I go to help-> system information.

My loads fine Extension in Illustrator, but the AIEventAdapter.getInstance () .pingPlugIn () is always out 'timed' event

I use a simple "Hello" Extension created by the manufacturer of the "New Extension project" wizard extension and include the libraries of the adapter to the host in my selections of what must be used.  I exported the project to ZXP and installed.  Install the extensions Manager, AIHostAdapter.aip files go in the right place, Illustrator starts just fine and charge my extension, but the host Adapater never seems to be available.

This same Extension works very well and very well in my other Illustrator CS6 instance can access the host adapter.

Is there some other trick to get it to work with CC?  Or is the integration of host Adapater in CC somehow broken right now?

Please let me know if any additional information would be helpful.  Thank you!

I believe that the Extension Builder trial version comes with extension of Ia corrupt CC

In addition, there are problems with inDesign host adapters - include it and extension will not compile

Card games and comparisons can be made here. Select the "Can I Run It' in the top bar.  Then you will know what you really need as a minimum.   Besure to consider a graphics card and the power supply.  (650W like a max).

  • My Acer Aspire 9410Z (Vista) is not read my 4 GB SD card, even though I have a SD host adapter. Help?

    As stated above, it does not appear that this is on my computer. I am very confused because I have been asking this question for some time and received many answers, but none of them went around. A host adapter is different from having a SD driver? I'd like to think, it is, but I'm really, really confused. ^3^;;;

I need to get music on my SD card for my DSi. :/ A 2 GB SD card would be better?

    Hello

This SD card has already worked on your computer?

Method 1: Check the status of this card in Device Manager.

See the links below for help on Device Manager.

    Open the Device Manager

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/open-Device-Manager

Method 2: Try to use the same SD card on another computer and check.

  • Network host connectivity problem

    Hi all
I have a bit of a strange an ESXi 5 U1 host connectivity problem. The host has a network card in the 10.0.0.0/24 subnet, and from there it can ping both devices but cannot ping to two other devices. To explain a little better:
There are two hosts with identical hardware (HP ProLiant DL380 G6) both built with the same picture of ESXi 5 U1 from HP.
There is an IP address on the switch (Cisco 3750 gigabit) management.
There are two servers running Openfiler, which I'll use for ISCSI data banks.
All these devices are in the same VLAN in the 10.0.0.0/24 subnet. host 1 is identical to the 2 host configuration (bar IP address and host name, etc.). Host can ping all devices on the subnet 1 and maybe ping by all devices on the seubnet. 2, the one with the issue of the host can ping and ping the Cisco FoxyCode and host 1, but cannot ping or ping by one of the two boxes openfiler.
Research on the openfiler boxes I see missing entries in the arp (marked as incomplete) table. Host 2 he entered complete arp for the openfiler boxes. A trace of the wireshark package shows the openfilers sending arp requests but no response from host 2. The Cisco and host 1 to get the answers.
I have patched the critical fixes host 2 until the last critical and no, applied the latest versions of firmware HP etc. Swapped, cables, tried different switch ports and even different NICs on host 2, all to nothing does not. The Cisco ports configured all identically from host 1. The openfiler boxes are set up with interfaces servile and the Cisco switch ports are etherchannelled for these. There is no etherchannel or link aggregation etc for guests, straight connection to the front in the VLAN.
Interestingly, all devices also has an interface in the 192.168.2.0/sous-reseau 24 for management and all devices can see all other devices here absolutely fine.
If anyone has any ideas on where to go from here please let me know, I'm going crazy trying to understand this one!

    ts999 wrote:

I wonder if the Etherchannels in Openfiler servers might not work. Depending on how the switch load balances executives, this could cause a host to work and the other is not.

    m8170.nl it should probably be sorry m8000. I use x 86.

Hello Pitchingpeet, it seems that the model you listed may be the appropriate model number, and HP U.S. just doesn't have the information about your system.

I managed to locate a Vista driver x 86 for the Atheros wireless network device.

Here is the link to download. Even though she displays for x 86 Vista, it may well run on an x 86 Windows 7 installation.

I was unable to find the exact model of your network device wireless Atheros, but here is a link to Atheros that may have the drivers you need .

    Look under the section of x 86 / x 64(Win7,Vista, XP, Server 2003) Atheros AR81Family Windows Driver.

There are two downloads for different devices, you may need to try both versions if one does not work.

All or part of these drivers can work and they can't, but it's worth a try.
