Pavilion Slimline PC 400-034: network driver

Hello

I'm looking for a driver for the CARD from Windows 7 for the network interface port in the PC of HP Pavilion Slimline 400-034.

I'm trying to configure this computer to an old man who does not want to learn Windows 8, Windows or Windows 10 8.1.  It has been very well with Windows XP until his old computer is dead.  Now I'm creating running it with this Slimline 400 computer, Windows 7.  I installed the WIFI drivers.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE; Do not answer me with a hyperlink to the web site H - P driver download page.  I've tried, and H - P has only the options Windows 8 and *. 1.  He doesn't like the fact that I want to put Windows 7 on this computer.  Please tell me the NAME (or the MS code) network driver and I'll go find it on the internet (Yes, that seems to be the fastest way) without due respect to the people of H - P.  I need the driver for the CARD.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

  • Pavilion 1373ea g6: lack of network driver pavilion 1371ea g6

    Hey,.

I deleted my notebook and reinstalled windows. Everything is back up. However, so that everything works I need to connect to the internet for updates and drivers. There is no WiFi driver so I can't connect to the internet. Does anyone know which WiFi driver, I need. I can't find the information on the Device Manager and HP Web sites do not show the drivers I need. Also, I can only connect to the internet using my tablet, as soon as I know the driver I need I be able to download it on my Tablet and copy it across.

Any help would be greatly appreciated; until I can connect to internet, I'm not sure how to fix it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello:

I'll easily be able to provide the wireless driver that you are interested in, if you follow these simple steps and validate the hardware for the wireless card ID...

Since there is no driver installed wireless, we need a labeled device network controller in Device Manager in the category other devices.  The network controller device will be a little! mark next to him.

Thus, to find the network controller device, click on that and then click on the Details tab.

Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.

On this list and select the second element (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters you see in the window.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline S5-1224 replace hard drive

Have a Slimline S5-1224 which has a hard drive problem.  The drive is a Seagate 1 TB making a rattling noise when you restart.  Past experience tells me the drive is about to fail and execution of diagnostic tests has confirmed.  My question is it would be better to clone the old disk (if it still works) to the new?  Or I can use the recovery disks that I did when I bought the computer.  Thank you.

    Hello

    NTFS will be used.

On the new PC comes with Windows 8 and UEFI, then secure startup is enabled and the hard drive is in the GPT format.

  • HP Pavilion H8-1234 - identification of network drives

My newly purchased H8-1234 has problems, identify a hard disk of existing network.  It takes at least five minutes to connect, and in many cases the reader is never connected.  However, the HP computer replaced, a Dell Optiplex, identified and linked to the reader a few seconds each time.

The HP is running WIN7 Home Premium, as was the Dell.

I'm not familiar with the Protocol of communication network of HP, but is there a way I can force a faster connection, for example, enter IP address of the player?  It makes no difference if the Windows Firewall is enabled or disabled.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Hank

I think that the problem has been resolved, although I swear in front of her for a few days.

I don't have a 'network' associated with the Start button.  But I went to the central network & sharing via the control panel.  Then my system and your directions, sort of agreed... maybe.

Change adapter settings/network connections does not give me an advanced option.  Connections network lists a cable and two wireless options.  I disabled the wireless options two, leaving only the connection wired option enabled.  But I think that this accomplished the same goal you want.

Apparently, which allows the system to access the router first, and then find the NAS drive quite quickly, and two laptops wireless card... well sorta wireless NAS printer memory.  It took about 25-30 seconds for the first time, and he remembered these parameters each time for a period of time.  Although I have noticed that if I closed Windows Explorer and not start for 20-30 minutes, it loses its network settings.  It takes then another 25-30 seconds to restore the connections.  If that's OK, at least it is the NAS drive.

Thanks for all you help, Hank

    @MSspark, welcome to the forum.

HP has their motherboards manufactured to their specifications.  Therefore, they are not the same as the advice of retail.  This is a possible problem with the upgrade to another Committee.  The main problem is to find a jury that has holes that match the accessory in the case.

Please provide a link to the video card with the name real full manufacturer and model...

It is unlikely. If you install the card it starts.

The specifications of the manufacturers for a few models that I've read have minimum systems requirements for a 400 Watt POWER supply. Your HP pavilion slimline d 400-235 is delivered with a 270-watt POWER supply. This would be a showstopper for the video card. There is no 400 Watt or POWER supply plu available for a slimline PC on the market that I know.

People have beentrying to upgrade the PSU in slimline PCs years.  When they find out this critical show-stopping detail, have usually to throw in the towel and realize that the slimline PCs are not meant to be upgraded.

  • Pavilion Slimline lock up in sleep mode-fan works high not lights up unless I pull the power cord 1

New HP Pavilion Slimline desktop 400-314 - mode 'sleep' sometimes cause to lock the computer, the power light is on, the fan runs at the top.  Only way to unlock the computer is to hold the power button for 5 seconds.  I wait 15-20 seconds, then press the power button to wake it up.  Immediately the computer restarts to the top with solid power light and the fan turns at the top.  The only way to break this vicious circle must first pull the power cord to the rear, wait 30 seconds and plug it in again.  This time, when I turn on the computer it goes off just fine.

Is this a BIOS problem?  Please help as I don't have that much hair left.

    * Solved * Finally!  After 8 grueling days of pain staking agony and incessant attempts to fix this thing, I finally solved my problem.  I spent countless hours on the phone with HP support and nothing resolved.  That is: the problem with this computer locking up and sending the fan at high spin was due only with external speakers. When you reset the power system disconnected to boot the system, he would normally go for at least half a day before locking up.  I discovered that the speakers are older than 15 years. It's funny, these speakers worked fine on a desktop HP 2004 previous Pavilion running on Windows XP.  Now, it's static build-up that caused my death or something else?  As far as I know, it's that I'm a happy camper using headphones with a new system of HP that finally works.  Thank you to everyone who made suggestions.

The BIOS updates are available in the section of driver download Windows 8 of the portal support for your laptop.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-slimline-400-desktop-PC-series/5358996/model/5365421

It is not really necessary to update the BIOS.

If you feel that you just have to do and don't mind the risk involved, then download the latest version of your download folder and double-click the softpaq.

    Download drivers Lenovo here

The installation may fail, but if you use the device and update the drivers of the BCM Unit Manager and point on which software gets in, it will install fine.
