Pavilion slimline s5-1014: CD rom is not working after upgrade Windows 10

My Cd rom no longer works after upgrade to windows 10.  I read the posts that I should go to Device Manager to update, however it doesn't appear in the device driver.  How to solve this problem?

  • Venue 11 7140 pro micro HDMI does not work after upgrade windows 10

    Has anyone tried connect a HDMI microphone on their place of dell 11 7140 pro after windows 10 upgrade? Mine does not work after the upgrade, but the HDMI from the dock works.

    I have thus display driver problems on 10 to win.

    For me, the micro HDMI port works fine. I use an active adapter, so that could make a difference.

    The HDMI on the dock works well, but only if I directly connect to an HDMI display. If I try to use a passive DVI adapter, then the external screen is not recognized. In addition, the DisplayPort on the wharf is also unnecessary, regardless of the type of cable or attached monitor.

    I encounter this problem after performing a new installation of Win 10, using the brand Dell drivers and latest drivers Intel installed by Windows update.

    It is certainly a driver problem Win 10 because everything works fine if I boot the Tablet under Linux using a USB key.

    After a complete hard drive failure, I installed Win 7 everything works, as far as I know, except scrolling on the touchpad. I went through all the troubleshooting I can find.  The last one I tried was in the Control Panel, mouse and look for the details of the touchpad. It is not listed there.  I can't find a driver to install HP and Driver Downloads. Where can I find a driver for the touchpad with scrolling? The only thing listed under the mouse in the menu of device driver is a PC mouse.

    I'm sorry that the link of the page didn't work.  HP has problems with the website support, and even for me at times, page links do not work.

    As for the installation of Windows 9, how to acquire that is to order the HP recovery media. It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP.  You get these by contacting HP Customer Service.

    I'm using LabVIEW 2014 SP1 and I have recently upgraded to Windows 10. After this Icon Editor is not working properly, I can see only limited functionality.

    I solved the problem, I debugged the '... \LabVIEW 2014\resource\plugins\lv_icon.VI ' and found that the error was generated when accessing some files in the folder of the administrator. It seems to be permission/security problem. Now I'm running the LabVIEW as an administrator and it works correctly.

  • Pavilion 23tm: 23tm Pavilion touchscreen does not work after upgrade Windows 10

    After the upgrade to Windows 10, my monitor touchscreen Pavilion 23tm lost touch.  I looked for a driver on the HP site and it required me to download the HP Support Assistant application.  In other words, the site would not just download an update to the driver.  After you download HP Support Assistant and running this application, he did not find the Pavilion 23tm monitor, then I hit a dead-end.  I think I just need to be able to download the latest driver, but the HP site will not allow it.

  • Audio does not work after upgrade Windows 10 (Lenovo G780)

    After my upgrade to Windows 10 on my Lenovo G780, it seems that my audio no longer works. I tried plugging my headphones as well to see if I had audio coming through here, but it does not appear in the peripheral reading window when it is plugged.

    The laptop comes with Conexant SmartAudio HD and lists also high definition Audio device in Device Manager.

    Could someone help me and let me know if there is a problem that I monitor.

    I found a page that contains some Conexant software for windows 10 but I don't know if they are updated drivers or if they support even my machine (the page does not support for G780 list).

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    After a few tries, I finally got my audio to work and hope it does for you too. What I did close my computer completely as opposed to stopping in the hybrid stop mode. To stop your computer completely, right click on the Windows Start icon and scroll down until closing or disconnect and select stop down in the list. Your computer shuts down completely. Turn on your computer again (start will take a little longer than usual) and check if everything is in order.

    As I mentioned earlier, my audio back after doing this. It will be useful.

    Please provide more information for your issue to be diagnosed.

    Restart your computer and wait 20 minutes for the system to operate before you download information. When the review much, not Event Viewer log files all problems show in the period immediately after the computer has booted.

    Please provide a copy of your system information file. Type the system information in the search box above the Start button and press the ENTER key (alternative is select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information). Select file, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Not to place the cursor in the body of the report before exporting the file. The system creates a new information file system each time system information is available. You must allow a minute or two before the file is completely filled before exporting a copy.     I bought this laptop in July and it came with a free upgrade to Windows 7. Until I upgraded my cell phone, my microphone worked fine, but since I installed Windows 7, the computer does not recognize the microphone as a device. I looked for answers on the Web from Toshiba site, but nothing has worked. What is the problem with my microphone?
