Pavilion TS 15 Notebook: BIOS
After updating my HP Notebook System BIOS F.67a (release December 2014), I noticed that there is an earlier version also available... Updated HP Notebook System BIOS (Intel processors) F.66 (Oct 2014).
The difference between the 2 is that the F.66 specifically says "Intel processors", while F.67a did not have this rating.
Should I install the BIOS earlier Oct after the Dec version is installed?
Hello
You are very well leavind the version as it is - F.67a is definitely for computers with Intel processors and includes security updates important uefi.
Kind regards

HP Pavilion e051sh 17 Notebook, BIOS is incomplete. Please, how can I upgrade the BIOS in the system? Thank you
What leads you to believe that the BIOS is incomplete?
What do you feel is missing?
If the laptop turns on, goes through the POST (power on self test) and then boots into Windows, then the BIOS is complete and operational.
If your laptop was in warranty service, there is the possibility that the serial number of the laptop and other identifying information was not in the BIOS. Is that what happened? Otherwise if you happened to use the change utilities you might have made a few changes to the BIOS. Please notify.

HP Pavilion G7 1316dx Notebook: BIOS update help
I have a laptop running updated windows 10 how to update the bios? I still do not see an update for windows 10. So, how to upgrade the bios? Or if I should wait for all drivers to be supported with windows 10?
If there is no update on your Support page, it means generally that no BIOS update is needed. I assume that you have the latest version of the BIOS on your list of Windows 8?

HP Pavilion g6-1313sh Notebook: dual Radeon graphics card - cannot enter bios mode fixed
Hello!
I recently bought this laptop apart from my friend and is struggling with this for a few weeks now.
I was on the forum every day for a few hours without result.
so, my laptop is HP Pavilion 1313sh g6 with Win7. I have the latest version of the bios, so I could put my gpu bios mode set instead of dynamic.
Here's the problem... When my setting was dynamic, I got the "switchable graphics" option and I could put the preset by application. as many people pointed out, it really does not work, so I went back to fix.
This option is now missing. so I tried in CCC, following this: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03048374 in the fixed bit.
It is, I have no change option... I only get the graphics card AMD Radeon Dual 'activate' or disable... but not the button to switch permanently to the highest performance card... checked in CCC, it recognize my 2 cards under hardware (1st HD6520G 2nd is Hd7400M).
I start to tear up the rest of my hair. Please can someone tell me what I miss? as said, the most recent drivers from the site is all settled.
Thank you!
Hi @SmokeyJohnny ,
Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion g6-1313sh Notebook and issues with graphics switchable. You can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop.
When running a system restore note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices because they can cause problems.
If this does not resolve the problem would be to uninstall the graphics drivers listed in your device manager. Reboot the laptop and it must be reinstalled the proper drivers. Yours is the AMD Radeon HD 6520 + 7450 Mr. here are your drivers if you need.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.

Use the W7 x 64 drivers from 15 t-j100 except the graphics card intel and the realtek audio.
DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE OF THIS MODEL
Now, here's what you need to do to install the graphics...
First install the model Intel chipset driver and restart.
Then, install the Intel HD graphics driver and reboot.
Then install this model Nvidia graphic driver and restart.
Audio: Accept the agreement, download and install the driver for the second on the list.
You want the Ralink drivers for wireless and bluetooth.

Win7 hp pavilion n040se 15 notebook pc driver for win7
Hello
I need win7 hp pavilion n040se 15 notebook pc driver for win7!
anyone can help me?
You should be able to use most drivers of this model. Don't use a BIOS or Audio from there.
Audio Realtek: Choose High Definition Audio, accept the agreement, download and install the driver of first or second depending on whether you installed Win 7 32 or 64-bit:
http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/
Don't know what wireless card you have since HP uses different brands. If the doe doesn't work, you will need to get the id of the hardware it from Device Manager.

Pavilion g6-1270si: HP Pavilion g6-1270si Notebook PC Windows 10 drivers
Hello
Is there any word on when windows 10 drivers will be available on the Web site for my laptop? My HP Pavilion g6-1270si Notebook currently has no drivers for windows 10 and I am unbale to use the features of this portable wireless. Windows live update returns no results for the wireless lan driver, update or another.
Windows 7 and 8 wireless lan drivers do not work in Windows 10 (to be expected).
I waited through Insider program 10 whole far windows for windows drivers 10 but as of yet there is absolutely no trace of them.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all!
I intend to add an SSD for my HP Pavilion p263nl-15 Notebook PC. I found some sites that I can remove the optical drive and put a second drive using a caddy adapter in the optical drive Bay. I found that some people on the forum did it successfully, but nothing on my PC model. I want to know if he could work with my product.
In other words, there is my plan:
1 remove the real disk HDD hard bay and replace it with the new SSD.
2. remove the optical drive and replace it with the adapter caddy containing my old HDD.
3. do a clean install of Windows 10 on the SSD using a USB key recovery made with my real Windows 10 system (which has been updated from Windows 8.1 July 2016).
I already have a 120 GB OCZ SSD (OCZ Vertex 3).
I have a few questions before buying the adapter:
1 - the two drives (my old HDD and the new SSD) are recognized by the motherboard / BIOS and the operating system (Windows, 10)? Is there a limit to a unique HARD/SSD disk drive on the computer?
2 should. What size the card be? I found offers for 9.5 mm and 12.7 mm that are supposed to be suitable for HP Pavilion in general
3 - these parts work together and with my computer (size, compatibility)? You can expect any problems with this upgrade?
4 - clean install Windows 10 quote, because I intend to install it on a different drive than the one I used to create the key USB recovery flash? I have never done a clean install of Windows before.
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Alessandro
p.s. in this section of the forum (where I took most of the post), the solution worked almost perfectly, but it's a different product of the Pavilion 15 ^^
Hello
1. Yes,
2. your machines use 9.5 mm SATA Tray,
3 problem? I can't answer this question because who knows nothing until the track.
4. I don't know how you create USB recovery but a good new installation should work.
Kind regards.

Hello
Intel 6230 is listed as compatible, but the part number belongs to an Intel Centrino 1030. I would try the 6230 as the laptop is a Sandy Bridge one. 6235 Intel works on laptops series Dv6 from Ivy Bridge.

Hello:
The only other than W8/8.1 x 64 operating system that runs on your laptop is W7 x 64.
You can use all the W7 x 64 drivers and this model on your software.
Your model uses the AMD graphics driver. To install the AMD and Intel GPU.
DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR THE FIRMWARE OF THIS MODEL FILES
If your laptop comes with the Ralink WiFi card, you need this driver bluetooth of Ralink and software, not one of the above model.

HP Pavilion g6-2240ea Notebook: plugged in, not charging to help!
Hello!
I bought my HP Pavilion 2240ea g5 in April 2013. Everything worked smoothly, until I started noticing, he had stopped charging. It works very well with the adapter plugged in, but it will not load. Initially, he read (95% charged, plugged in, does not support), but now it has 0% fee and does not charge. I ran several diagnostics on HP Support Assistant, who said that my battery is fine and is in need of calibration. When testing of charger of HP running, it shows that my charger is charging once more, only for it to end a minute later. I also tried to uninstall the battery software Microsoft in the section battery Device Manager/Programs, but it does not work. I also tried the method of closure, withdrawal of adapter, press and hold the power button / stop, turn on again with the battery, turn on with just battery etc. But it does not work.
He has not charged for about a year now, so even if my battery is almost his second year, he stopped the charge after only one year. I thought must be replaced, but the HP support assistant help desk suggests my battery is very well and is seems not fresh, but only when the diagnostic runs.
I would be grateful for a little of help and advice on if I should just buy a new battery.
Thank you
Hi @MegantheRose,
Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion g6-2240ea Notebook and questions with the load. Here is a link to test and calibrate the battery. Here is a link to test the ac adapter.
I recommend to restore the default BIOS settings. You can restore the BIOS with this document by selecting the reload of the default settings of the BIOS that could help and only updates that go through the HP Support Assistant.
Note Remove all USB devices. Disconnect all devices of non-essential, as these can cause some troubleshooting problems.
Plug the power supply directly to a wall outlet works. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.

HP Pavilion g7-2224nr Notebook: trying to Win Win 7 8, now need to return back
Sorry if this has been raised many times before. I looked around, but couldn't find something that helped.
Stupidly, I installed Win 7 on top of win 8. Everything works, except some drivers not settled. I've been looking around for Win 7 drivers, but only sites I've found look scammy to me, and they seem to everyone wanting money and data personal.
I don't know what the best course of action is here. Should I keep trying to find drivers for Win 7, or should I give up and reinstall Win 8? I do not have the OEM drive, so I don't know even how to do this.
Pride, pride, arrogance. It became me that HP does not have such a dirty trick. Looks like they are trying to force the consumer to switch to Windows 8, which is something I never had the intention to do so. But then I never had intention to switch to Windows 95, Windows XP (I liked, as it happened) or Windows 7 (with which I can now live).
Could someone help me please get out of this mess?
Any help gratefully received. TIA.
Hello:
You can use all the W7 x 64 drivers and software the G7z-2100, except the BIOS, firmware, graphics and wireless drivers.
In addition you will need those drivers for the smbus and usb3 controllers.
SMbus: Installation and reboot.
http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?swItemId=cp_127758_1
USB3: Install these two and restart.
Graphics card: Installation and reboot.

You need this card wireless driver...

The only way you can get W8 on again your laptop is to order a series of HP recovery disks.
To order the recovery media, click on the link below, change the operating system to W8, press the blue update and scroll down to the line of order recovery media.
