Paviliong6: The HP printer installation disk

Hello

Try reloading the disc that came with all HP printer in one now, I'm on Windows 10 but it does not accept it saying that I need to upgrade the system. It is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7 version 24.2.0 is it possible to load it or I'll have to get new printer to work with Windows 10 says the label on the disc, I can't really believe this would be the case.

Hi there, the original disc won't work now that you're on Windows 10. Take a look at this support document for more details about HP printers compatible Windows 10. Find your product in the list, and then follow the instructions on how to download the driver recommended in your operating system Windows 10. Function of the printer in question, there may be an available HP driver or a driver in-Windows operating system.

If your printer is not listed or is listed as not supported you will need to look at if you print from a Windows 10 PC exclusively replace it.

Hope this information helps.

Best.

    Hello

It would seem that your original DVD came without Service Pack 1.

Over time, you installed SP1 that makes the operating system newer than the one on the DVD.

Uninstall SP1 > do the installation of upgrade repair > reinstall SP1.

How you set up your devices in the first place? Are you a person as a result of a document? If so, please specify its url here. You need to configure permission for devices before that ASM can see and if the devices are not to be displayed in the installation program, most likely, that the reason is that the authorization.

  • Problem with the HP printer Installation.

My HP6500 printer requires: Windows XP pack 2; Windows Vista; or Windows 7. How do install when my operating system is Windows 8? Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello

There are several variations of "HP 6500" that could be your printer on the HP Web site. I suggest that you go to:

    http://WWW8.HP.com/UK/en/drivers.html

Look for your printer, and then follow the instructions to install it in Windows 8. If there is full drivers/software available then use them *.

    * Make sure that you choose the drivers 32 or 64-bit according to your version of Windows 8. To find out if you are running Windows 32 or 64 bits 8, press The Windows Logo key + X on your keyboard, and then select System. Now look where it says, "System Type".

  • Why the windows xp recovery disk hangs 90%

Setup formats to 90% and no longer is located at 90%, sometimes it says cannot read disk I just there in the mail from microsoft?

    Hi JeffPoe,

    1. Is that what you received the computer manufacturer's recovery disks?
    2. What exactly is the error message you receive?
    3. How did you start the installation? You install Windows XP on the new hard drive or a hard drive empty?

Microsoft does not manufacturer or provide recovery disks.

Recovery discs are supplied by the manufacturer of the computer.

I suggest that you check if there is no scratches on the Windows XP installation disk, you can also clean the surface of the disc with a clean dry and check if it continues the installation.

I have a printer HP Officejet 4622 e all-in-one I have implemented successfully.  I just realized that the ink cartridges are 'set up' on them.  Am I supposed to replace these in regular ink cartridges and save cartridges installation for installation later, or just use them upward with a normal printing business?  In addition, I can't adjust the color printing preferences.  Aqua and green appear similar.  Is it possible to adjust the color?  Thank you.

    Hello

    1. are you able to print successfully?

    3. What were the recent hardware changes performed on the computer before the question software ro?

A Windows Vista 64 Bit operating system is compatible in installation of 32-bit drivers. All the 64-bit version operating systems have the ability to run 32-bit applications, but on a version 32-bit operating system, you are limited to only 32-bit software.

According to the information on the website of Canon, Canon provides only the 32-bit drivers for Canon LBP 1120 printer, 64-bit drivers are always expected. To improve assistance to the topic to download driver 64 bit I ask you to contact Canon.

  • How do I get the installation disk full Windows

My laptop has become very unstable due to 2 anti-virus installed - my expired version wouldn't uninstall and finally my laptop wouldn't start.  I managed to do a repair of windows on a startup disc but a lot of files windows can be fixed when using chkdisc.

    Hello

Microsoft does not disks for computers manufactured OEM.

This is for Acer to do, if they still have any available.

As you never have a disc, you must have a recovery Partition to reinstall the operating system.

    To start the system recovery:

    1. Restart the computer.
    2. When the Acer logo appears on the screen, press the left Alt and F10 keys.
    3. If you are prompted with a Microsoft Windows splash screen, press the Enter key.
    4. After that the Acer eRecovery Management application is loaded, select your type of restore.
    5. Read the review and then click Next when you are ready.
    6. Click Next to start the restore process. It may take 10 minutes up to an hour fom anywhere to restore.
    7. Once the restore is complete, your computer will restart. After the reboot it will load Windows and start the installation of your software and drivers. Your computer will restart several times during this process. Once they are all completed, your computer will be like it was when you bought it first.

If it does not and Acer cannot help you, read on:

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

I called HP support.  The technology was very knowledgeable and accommodating.  HP Smart Install program (in the printer and on CD) that came in the box was an old version.  I had to reset the printer back to factory default and to download the new firmware on the HP.com website.

The oldest had an incorrect address router (network). You can see the address of the router (IP) when you perform the self-test (hold down the button "on") under the information network.  IPv4 address must be the same as your router.  Now my printer and computer are looking at the same network.

Works great!  Love this LaserJet.  Faster than my last HP LaserJet 4 L.

It doesn't matter what it is always a good idea before re-install/upgrade to log on to the computer support page, download independent drivers from there and put them on a flash drive.
