PC and Support HP problems: "client pending Action"?

Greetings community, today, I speak of my HP Envy laptop, Windows 8 operating system. (Later 8.1)

Until last week my computer was going through some big questions, gives me a blue screen almost every hour, it was last Monday. Tuesday when I tried to start my computer, I was met a pitch black screen, hit the ESC key or one of the F1 through 12 keys, had met me the lower left corner, indicating the action that the computer has attempted to take. Another new event that happened on Tuesday, it was a strange whirring and clicking noise, depending on the angle that the laptop has been set, tilting back is quieter or more important.

With Tuesday last turn of events, on Wednesday, I had contacted HP Customer Service by phone and 1 and 1/2 hours later. A UPS box was now on his way to my house could ship my laptop for repairs. The next day (Thursday), it happened, and I quickly made my laptop, filled out the forms sent with it, slapped on the new tile for shipment and sent.

Today was Friday, and using my newly acquired UPS shipping code and repair HP status code sent to me by e-mail, I decided it was time to check on my laptop and try to get an idea of when I see him again. According to UPS, my laptop had found its way to HP at 10:00 this morning.  One day shipping had done its job! However when I had checked the HP status repair page and confirmed my email and repair status number, HP told me that my laptop was "client pending Action.

Needless to say I became worried at this point, but figured it's probably nothing, it was Friday after all. So I decided to check out over the weekend, hoping to get a form of update on the State of my laptop. Still "awaiting customer Action."

Today is Monday, with no updates of status on my laptop, and I turn on the help forums. First to see if anyone knows the problem with my PC. When I was contacted on the phone, I was told it was probably a problem with the hard drive, which is logical that everything with the computer seemed to work normally. (With the exception of the mysterious inexorable and roar of noise).

Secondly, to see what it "customer pending Action." means and how long it might take until I get an update on the State of my computer. I'll give you a thank you in advance just in case it takes me a while to answer.

You got us more than a barrel here. It is truly a user Forum, and we don't have access to the records of Service HP or a way to communicate with Service centers, so we can't really help.

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers Community Forums.

Windows 7 help and Support as a built-in feature in all of its editions, you can access it in offline mode by pressing F1 or by clicking Help and about Internet Explorer.

If you get the search results not related to your question, then you must be connected online to get help with your problem help and Support.

Alternatively, you can ask a question to Microsoft Answers concerning the problem you are having with your Internet connection in the section Networking, e-mail and put online .

Alternatively, you can also use Troubleshooter in Windows 7, which you can access in Control Panel of-> items-> troubleshooting Control Panel

    Hope this helps you.

    Method 3

If the previous step fails, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Hi adarb,

    1. when exactly you get this message?

    2. what applications do you use when you get this message?

    Method 1:

You can restart the computer and check if it helps.

    Method 2:

You try to perform a clean boot. A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

If your problem is resolved after the clean boot, and then follow the steps mentioned in the article above to refine the exact source.

After you have used the boot is a way to solve your problem, you can follow the steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    Hope this information is useful.

    Hello

We are currently looking at creating a wireless network separated very basic for a client in two adjacent large cabins (3 m of distance) that can support up to 100 clients max simultaneously. It will only be for entrepreneurs to access basic internet, web mail, etc. connections. There is no existing infrastructure to connect to, so let's look at an internet connection for a form, a small switch and the wireless network. Range isn't a problem because they are next to each other it's support for such an amount of connections. I thought that a cluster of 2-4 WAP321 configuration might be a little tense and we could get questions like the number of simultaneous connections gets nearly 100. I also watched a couple of standalone Aironet 1600 s, one in each cabin.

The network itself is very basic, because it is literally just shared internet access but I need to make sure it is reliable with 100 connected clients.

I rang pre-sales tech, but they were not mcuh help and sounded like they knew less than I, so any help would be appreciated.

    Concerning

    Harry

    Dear Harry,

Thank you to the small community of Support Business.

By checking on the WAP321 data sheet, I see:

-Recommended user support-up to 32 users connective, 20 active users

-Active clients by cluster = 80

I agree with you when you say "could be a little tense and we could get questions like the number of simultaneous connections gets nearly 100", that's why I suggest you go for a business, a range like the Aironet1600 input device you mention.  In any case I would contact you the pre-sales team or support thread-mobility advice and a community helps further.

Thank you for your time on this matter and please let me know if there is something I can help you with in the meantime.
