PC Doctor result: ME516-12

Hello

I'm trying to figure out what to do with the result of the control PC Doctor: ME516-12 error code. No luck.

Can someone help me? Anyone experienced the same?

Must I hold for memory. I think you have a bad stick of RAM. If you have two sticks installed, disconnect the power supply from the PC, remove a stick and then run the test again.

If the error comes back, unplug the power supply, replace the stick, remove the other stick and run the test again.

  • Results of Toshiba Connectivity Doctor or Vista network & sharing Center

    I bought a 802.11n router to allow additional coverage of my Toshiba with a 802.11n Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN give me and I never seemed to get the extra than I expected! I tried etc. Since a few weeks I got the laptop, and was beginning to lose patience and hope of ever is it solved, however I just noticed something that only confused me even further!

    I always use the connection to a network/network and sharing centre within Vista OS under my control, "connection status" of my networks etc. & it has never showed that the network which should give me ' isn't a 'g '! But earlier I found and used the Toshiba connectivity doctor, and I found it is sometimes shows the connection as a 'n', but still the Vista "connect to a network & Vista network and sharing Center" show the same broadcasting as a 'g '!

    What should I take as the most accurate, I have little additional coverage when I used to have a portable 'g' and a router 'g', but perhaps remotely an additional 2 meters which, depending on how wonderfully better is the "n" does not seem to live up to the expectation!

    I based my results of the exact coverage, physician connectivity Toshiba or Vista network sharing Center, they can be opened at the same time and showing the different results? I do not understand why they say different things? Crikey Ca? s driving me crazy!

    already tried INTEL drivers? Theres a special broadcast of the site just about your wireless card, so if you please, visit this site and download the drivers from here:

    Maybe it s just a driver related problem. And another suggestion: use a single program to connect to wireless networks. Maybe they cause some internal conflicts in the system which turns off the feature n.

    Oh, and Don t forget to check the properties of the device manager/network on some technical parameters. Perhaps, it must be explicitly enabled, also on your router.

    I have a T61 that wasn't logging past the "sign-in" screen, isn't exactly BSOD...

    I ran PC Doctor Diagnostics and my laptop 'failed' 3 tests...

    Hard drive: extended SMART self-test failed

    Hard drive: Surface scan test FAILED

    also SMBIOS: SMBIOS: FAILED test standards

    I went through the whole 'start BIOS configuration utility' and

    etc., etc., chose "hard drive" and press the F6 key to move to the first start position.

    etc. I even went through the process of ThinkVantage to return to "factory settings".

    but I still don't see the 3 tests above, when I take the test again in PC Doctor.

    My internal hard drive 'Fries '?

    These 6 product recovery CDs are probably for XP, so if you use Vista, you must burn another series. Other that that, I don't know what else you would need. you're pretty much good to go.

    Regarding the quality of hard drive, it just depends some fail after a few months, some can last 5 to 7 years. Premature failure hdd are rare. But expensive if you don't get a hard drive replacement, then you are protected at least 2 to 3 years standard warranty.

    2006 HPc1487c w/2 x 1 GB + 2 x 500 memory abandons geezer year old ghosts and this78 soon to follow.  But made a full recovery and was able to run PC-Doctor, who advised: on the system memory:

    Has no auxiliary fault model Test ME516-3W code

    Checkerboard Test ME516-15W error code

    Market the error code a test of law ME516-18W

    Error code bit low test ME516-14W

    Waling error code a try on the left ME516-17W

    then prompty died again.  Logic tells me that a module of memory went bye bye.  Can someone tell me precisely on these error codes.  Thank you

    Matched pair means; same manufacturer, same chip type, same size, same CASE, etc.   Would you buy a pair as two memory DIMMs together.  You might have the same 512 MB DIMM in blue locations and the two dimms of 1 GB in black locations.  I balanced in blue locations and matched pairs slots black and they are different manufacturers in my m9200t system. However, I took care to ensure that both ca and tension were the same (Samsung and Kingston DIMM).

    I have Roxio EMC 9, creator of 2009 and 2010 of creator.  EMC 9 went unsupported 2.5 years ago.  EMC 9 has written for 32-bit operating systems, and it will not more than 3 GB even recognize on an operating system to 64-bit with more than 3 GB.

  • PC Doctor BIOHD-2 error code

    HP Pavilion FK484AV-ABA, model m4900t running windows 7 64 bit. The RAID-1 configuration.

    PC crashed. Cannot restart. Starting cold, received error message failure of RAID-1 and two hard drives. PC-Doctor ran and received the following diagnoses:

    Processor, memory, drives hard all OK.

    Diagnosis of startup path

    Error code: BIOHD-2

    ATTENTION: No disk is detected.

    Suggestion: Turn off the system and check the drive cables are attached firmly.

    Given that the PC-Doctor verified that both drives are OK, I'm assuming that the cables were also OK. Any suggestions on what may be the problem?

    Go into the BIOS to see if the discs are recognized. Post your results here.

    This is an unusual condition for PC Doktor to report. Normally a BIOHD-2 error code means that a hard drive has failed, but I have no doubt that both drives failed at the same time.

  • HP Deskjet 1010: HP Deskjet 1010 incomplete printing - best example - on Print & Scan Doctor

    On the test page for the doctor of printing & scanning HP, the text at the top is not readable, it's so light (a turquoise? color). Below the color test of the band on this page, on the edge of the test of the line, the lines are very light (light turquooise?) at the edge of the left and right margin.  (I'm not surré is something else isn't visible which should be.)  For print-out page alignment, all lines except two (series D and series I) are not printed as well as printed sheet is completely unnecessary to complete the answer to the question sheet.

    I had used (same model HP Deskjet 1010) until he developed the problem described above. Thinking it was a printer problem, I replaced the existing printer with a brand new HP Deskjet 1010 (same model), I bought for a long time as a backup replacement printer.  I found out even with the new printer, I had the same problem as the previous printer.

    (I also have a HP PSC that prints very well without any problem).

    Do you use the same cartridges for the printer on the other?

    I would try the steps listed in this document, they should help to solve this problem: the problems of quality Print to the HP Deskjet 1010 and series printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 1010

    If you are still having the same problem of printing print Diagnostics page then it would be a hardware problem and not software related. Let me know the results.

  • HP LaserJet M13191 MFP: must run 'Print and scan doctor' whenever I need to print

    Whenever I need to print, the print job gets held in place in the queue...

    • 'Use printer offline' flashes
    • Status: "error - printing".
    • Port USB001

    After execution of HP print and Scan doctor, the print queue is cleared, I print the document again and it will work only once.  Next time I want to print, I have to restart the HP print and scan doctor, and then reprint the document.

    I'd appreciate any help/advice.

    I understand that you have some problems with the printing of your Windows 7 PC to your printer Laserjet M1319. I can help you with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. If your printer is connected via USB cable to your PC, delete.
    2. Click on start and open devices and printers.
    3. Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
    4. Click on remove the instrument.
    5. Repeat for all other icons of your printer listed.
    6. Click Start, in your type of Services Research and open Component Services.
    7. On the left, click Services (Local).
    8. On the right, do a right-click on print spooler.
    9. Click on stop.
    10. Open your drive C:\, Windows, System 32, coil, and printers.
    11. Delete everything in this folder.
    12. Return to the Component Services window.
    13. Right-click on print spooler.
    14. Click Start.
    15. If you removed the USB cable, connect. If this is not the case, go back to the devices and printers and click Add printer to add a new queue for your printer.

    I downloaded print HP & Scan doctor and after having extracted the files, I learned that the complete software solution has not been downloadedand as a result, I should click the software solution.     If you are able to make copies of the unit itself, I'd recommend a "profound" uninstall to remove completely all files of your PC printer. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer and reinstall the printer again by running the installation wizard.

    Here are the steps to help you.

    I hope this will do the trick!

    • Perform a level 3 uninstall if you have an HP computer or a level 4 uninstall if you have a computer not HP.

    There are 2 ways you can run levels:

    Of the Original installation CD:

    1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

    2. open "Computer", and then right click on CD drive and open

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

    7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    9 download drivers and full software features: HP printer install wizard for Windows

    If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:

    1. Click Start and type %temp%, in the search field and press ENTER to open the temp folder.

    2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356) (if there is more than one, choose the most recent folder)

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

    7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  • OfficeJet 6500 e709a, win 8, Print &amp; Scan Doctor indicates the lack of scanning software HP Twain

    Updated to Win 8 64 on toshiba laptop, all updates installed, deleted all the old software HP (4 times now with the L4 uninstall util, ccc, in Temp% 7% * of all downloads on system file.)  still no connection to scan.  Printer works fine.  When I try to scan, I get "cannot scan because another program or computer using the HP Imaging device in network. Try again later.   The rest of my network is shut down, leaving only the laptop, the router and the printer/scanner.  Ran print HP & Scan doctor... get extended info error 4, [(2, 7, 80040007), (0, 0, 0)(, 3, 7, 0)]

    Scanner has worked without problem in Win 7 Home Premium on the same system.  This one is only about 1-1/2 years... seems HP wants to buy me a new printer.   (Note: also have a model economy HP 2050... which prints and scans without any problem to win 8)

    Now 2 days later, adding to post.  Completely removed all the system HP printer software, rubbed %temp%, rubbed registry, 3 times more.  Always get error Scanner 8 [(1, 0,-2147024770)]

    Scanner works with Windows Fax & Scan, Scanner works fine on 2 Windows 7 machines using OJ6500vE709_Full_14.exe software, troubleshoot-performed Netgear WNDR3400v2 router configured the Norton 360 Firewall to accept hpqkygrp.exe, hpqste08.exe hpqtra08.exe by HP Document CB022-90014 supplied with the printer.  hpqscnvw.exe & hpqthb08.exe are on the document are not present in C:\program HP imaging\bin. Checked ports used by the printer/scanner for the open State.  Ran Print & Scan Doctor - led Twain error every time.

    Install by using the results of the network USB vice in the same question.

    Microsoft, Norton and HP offer no solutions in the forums, or with technical support.  It is a home network, 3 computers, 1 printer, 1 router.  The printer is the cable to the port on the router.

    It seems that the installation package OJ_AIO_6500vE709_Full_Win_WW_140_408.exe missing something, since the old version worked fine in Win 8 until it has been updated to the new version.

    We did some research on this problem and it is caused by a file being in the wrong directory when the installation is done.

    That's why scanning works programs MSPaint or Windows scanning and Fax but not HPs Scan App.

    The indications are very simple and are as follows

    1. Find the folder where 7zip extracted your web pack (the directory starts with 7Z)
    2. In this folder, navigate to the drivers\scanner\x32\ folder.
    3. Copy the HPWTIOP4. DLL from that folder to the Program Files (x 86) \HP\DigitalImaging\Bin folder

    Somehow, I had this Antimalware Doctor virus that resembles an anti-virus program.  I never asked for it.  He just showed and I keep getting popup windows telling me that I have viruses and he need me to register it allow to remove these viruses.  I tried to uninstall downloads.   Results of the search engines to try to delete seem to be fraudulent websites.  Help, please!
