pc randomly stop and it recharges?

I have a dell inspiron 531 desktop computer s. It was purchased new directly from dell 2 years ago.  She has windows vista basic.  It ran perfectly until last month.  A few weeks ago, my computer suddenly began to close on its own.  It is not just power off, it passes through the closed sequence set as if I had said to close. (displays the logging message, closing, etc.).  He has now begun to do it more often and sometimes restarts as well.  Sometimes it will stop after a few minutes and sometimes I can be on the computer for an hour or two before, he will stop.  I has not installed the new software/hardware that would have caused this.  I had checked it for viruses/malware and the guy told me that it was clean.  He also checked the base time to see if it was overheating and he assured me that it wasn't, and fans worked well.  I am running out of ideas... I read in some places that maybe the bios should be updated? I just can't understand why he started all of a sudden this.  I don't really heavily on internet because high speed internet is not available where we live, so we have only the dial upward.  You can imagine how long it takes to download SOMETHING, so I just don't! can lol someone HELP Please!

Hello

Is there more information when you check these events using MyEventViewer?

Control - Manager Panel of devices - all devices have a yellow or red mark?

You should probably check with Dell, the manufacturer of the system.

It seems that the laptop may be overheating.  Are you sure there is enough air past for laptop?  Make sure that it is on a flat surface, with nothing to obstruct the ventilation openings.  Make sure that the vents and fans and heat sinks are free from dust - examine their blowing with compressed air (power of the system first, of course).  Depending on the laptop model, it may be relatively easy to blow off the dust with compressed air, or otherwise clean up things a bit.   Fans should be kept up well - only no right turn when being ripped off.  My Dell laptop has a removable fan (two small screws need to be removed) that can easily be blown.  This also allows access to the fins of the heatsink.

Some laptops also have a removable filter that traps the dust and must be regularly inspected and cleaned.

Are all the BIOS settings for the adjustment of the temperature, the value lower than the manufacturer's recommendations and the default values (you need to check the manual of your laptop for this).  Also make sure you run the latest version of BIOS (again, the manual of your laptop would have the details; the manufacturer's website should also have this information).

  • Since the update to ios 9.2.1 my phone randomly stops and requires to turn the key so much power and touchid.

I upgraded 9.2.1 last night. I woke up this morning (late) to realize that the reason why my alarm has ever blown up is because my phone turns off automatically informed during the night. I couldn't initially it come back using the button power (as usual), apparently when it does now, I have to act like I'm it restart and press the power button and the touchid button (I don't know what it's really called, but that's where I do the touchID is what I am the appellant) and hold until the phone starts to power. My battery does not drain. I listened to an audio book all day and play games on and outside and it is still 57% so it is not a battery problem. Last night after the update, I have configured to download a book and update applications (my usual ritual) and plugged in and fell asleep. Wake up, the phone is off, Chapter Book downloaded but not the applications. He just cut himself again and I had to force him to turn back.

Does anyone else have this problem? As I have said, as my battery does not drain, I don't think it's a battery problem. ..

Also, I have an iPhone of 64 regular G 6. Nothing broken top and remains in a Pelican case.

I have exactly the same problem with the same exact phone. Not only my phone, but my wife phone ' e as well. I have 2 iPhone regular 6 64 g (not more) iOS 9.2.1. Stop randomly no matter what percentage. I saw he stopped as high as 87% on my phone and my wifes phone does the same thing. It always seems to happen when you take a picture or a video, or if I do something that maybe is the intensive process and don't know if the picture/video is intensive process but happened when using other apps as well. It cannot be by chance that my wife and I have updated around the same time. Didn't he remained 9.1 no problem there. I also think it has something to do with the update of your phone OTA (over-the-air) possibly a corruption that do. I had back luck with OTA only. Whenever something goes wrong, it seems that the solution to is updated via itunes. My mother also has the same exact phone 9.1 without reported problems. Apple keeps you guys kill us here! Currently I'm going to do what follows I have had success with this process in the past when my wife is having problems with her phone battery losing battery too fast and this is the only procedure that it is resolved:

-Backup my phone and my wife through iTunes and iCloud

-Put my phone in DFU mode and restore to factory via itunes.

-Setting up the phone as a new iphone and restore thanks to iCloud backup (in the past I restored from backup itunes but its past battery problem persisted through icloud backup restoration it is resolved)

I'll post my results and see if this fixes my problems.

Original title: computer stops randomly on its own.

When my computer is running, it will restarts randomly.  Any suggestions on why he can do this and how can I stop doing that?  Thank you!

    Hello

    1. do you remember any changes on your prior approval to question that occur?

In the meantime, follow these steps and check.

    Step 1:

You can check if you can "disable automatic system failure reboot " from the options in advance. In this way the computer will not go into a reboot loop and you will be able to note the error code, if any. If you see no error code, you can answer comes back with the error code.

    Step 2:

I suggest that you start your computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

    Step 3:

If the system works fine in safe mode, I suspect that there could be a conflict of software of third party causing the problem to occur. I suggest that you start your machine in a clean boot State.

Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

  • ThinkPad Yoga 14 random reboots and keyboard stop

I am a Yoga Thinkpad 14, which was purchased on January 6, 2016, Lenovo. The thinkpad is still under warranty. Lately, I've known random interruptions and blockages of the keyboard. I'm just browsing as usual. It was very well but is not a problem. I get 3-4 stops per day. The battery is under voltage, and it does not matter if the power cord is connected or not. It is not a problem of sleep or the issue of closing lid. It is stopping or blocking, and I don't know when he's going to do. I ran the diagnostics LSC and everything was fine. No error code. I think this could be a hardware problem as no new software or hardware was loaded and it was OK for 6 months so far. Can I submit a service request, but before that, are there any suggestions?

The problem was that it was intermittent. I couldn't replicate the application myself. They had the laptop for a day. They ran a huge list of diagnoses and nothing came. So I think that it is more beneficial for them to replace the card. I can't blame them for not to isolate the problem. I sent the laptop in Tuesday. Get it back on Friday. So if yours is still under warranty, I would go in that direction. However most probably they will return the drive to stock up. I so copy all my data off in advance. After 10.2.0.242 my phone gets stop randomly and does not start. I have to connect it to the charger and it is started after 15-20 minutes. the question is random stop, as in any application, any time, it will stop and take the time to start. Is there any fix for this that it is my first camera for my work.

I can suggest many things, but everything will be ' a shot in the dark "without this test result, and buy a new battery is not the best way to conduct this test (such as the States of my post).

So, you might try instead a recharge of OS, since the problem started when you tried this before. I suggest you:

    1. Full backup (see the link in my sig auto, but that applies to the inheritance, but the idea is the same, especially on the manual list of things)
    2. WIPE
    3. OS Reload link
    4. WIPE
    5. Initial configuration
    6. See if the problem, if not then go ahead... If it, then return to step 2, but instead LINK in step 3, find an autoloader to reload the OS (other versions of the operating system are also available through automatic charger
    7. Begin to return your applications and configurations, one at a time, slowly to determine whether one is perhaps the cause
    8. Restore from your backup

If the problem clears up with that, it was something that was wrong during the OS update, you did. If you need to return to automatic charger or other versions, the version of the OS you are using is corrupted somehow. If the problem comes back after you restore, then something in your backup is the cause, and you will have to redo do everything but not the restoration.

    Good luck!

I use my MacBook Air as a desktop computer. Should I leave the charger plugged all the time or should I drain the battery and then recharge? What is the best for the battery?

Keep the computer plugged in whenever possible.

If you keep the computer always connected, make sure that at least twice a month

Run it on battery until battery charge level falls to about 40-50%.

Please don't completely discharge the battery. Discharge the battery completely will reduce wear and tear on the battery.

"The question is often asked:" should I disconnect my laptop from the mains when not in service? Under normal circumstances it should not be necessary because as soon as the lithium-ion battery is full, a properly functioning charger will stop the load and load the pad will only engage when the battery voltage drops to a low level.
