PDF renders do not correctly in 38 FF

Because I installed 37 FF, PDFs of my website make wrong (picture jerky), using the native PDF Viewer.

There is no such a problem in IE or Chrome. Version 37.0.2 does not solve the problem.

As my viewers are really public (can do not know how to install the different plugin), I might just suggest using NOT FF on my site, if it is not fixed soon!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

  • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
  • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • Fonts Web renders do not correctly in Firefox 12

I use various Web fonts in my (first)! Muse site. They look great on my Mac in Safari, but my customer reports that 12 of Firefox does not correctly render (he said they look good in IE9). The policy in question is accustomed to Felipe.  Another Web font that I used it, Volkhov Italic, seems ok.  Attached is a screen shot he sent me. Main titles gold (welcome... and travel are in question).

Also, here is the temporary test site: http://kairospilgrimages.BusinessCatalyst.com/welcome.html

This site is very much a work in progress, a lot of the space reserved and unfinished...

The regular of Felipe is obviously much more beautiful and we want to use it!

Having IE7 both questions - background image (the sunset orange) on the master page is not showing any - do - it? Who is supported in IE7?

OK, this is what he says:

I just found out that the rendering of fonts problem was caused by a Firefox Add-on (called NoScript) I use that blocks java scripts on the websites unless permission is granted.  When I activated the scripting, the fonts are displayed correctly.

    Problem solved.

  • CC2014 and PHP files Dreamweaver renders do not correctly in the browser

My old computer is Windows 7 with XAMPP 1.8.3. I now have the new computer with Windows 8.1 and I installed XAMPP 5.6.3.

Everything worked perfectly on my old computer set up (and still makes). I did the local Web site of tests with virtual hosts set up for my multiple sites. It was fine.

To the best of my knowledge, in the implementation of my new computer, I followed the same XAMPP set up and make the same changes to virtual hosting (1) file hosts (Windows/System32/Drivers/etc/host); (2) httpd.conf (xampp/apache/httpd.conf); and (3) httpd - vhosts.conf (xampp/apache/conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf).

On the new computer Windows 8.1, XAMPP works very well. Apache runs on Port 80 443 and PID 1924 / MySQL running on Port 3306 and 2100 PID.

I don't get the error messages. My "site1" and my "site2" servernames (etc.) pull up the correct Web sites...

BUT - the website does not display well at all. It seems that it does not render the php "include" that I have in my php Web pages. The sites look good online so that there may be something wrong with the files on my laptop. (They are the same files php of my old computer Web site.) An example of a Web site is: "www.dm-webcreation.com"... It is in line, but appear badly on my new server local computer test.

This new version of the XAMPP uses a different configuration?

Live Preview without problem works... but when I view in a browser, it does not correctly.

Can someone help me with this?

    Hey thanks for the help.

I Uncomment the "LoadModule" that you referenced. He then started work in Chrome...

    But... not in Internet Explorer...

Accidentally, I discovered a setting in Internet Explorer, which was not aware of... under "Compatibility view settings" - I unchecked the box "display Intranet Sites in Compatibility View '... I had no idea there was such a framework (I wasn't aware that look at one of my sites them was referred to as a 'intranet sites'). Once I unchecked, IE started working perfectly...

Once again, thank you for your help!

  • PDF bookmarks are not correctly indented

I have one small unstructured FrameMaker document 2015. When I generate a PDF file, the bookmarks are not indented correctly.

The document includes sections in the following order:

    Level 1

    Level 5

    Level 5

    Level 4

    Level 5

    Level 5

    My bookmark PDF settings are:

    Level 1

    . Level 2

    .. Level 4

    ... Level 5

When I generate a PDF, I get the following:

    Level 1

    Level 2

    Level 5

    Level 5

    Level 4

    Level 5

    Level 5

It is relatively bet back, dealing with level 4 as another level 5 and then further indenting of level 5s that are level 4.

Someone at - he already seen this before? Any suggestions for fixing (apart from changing the order of the items)?

It is a design problem. You will need to manually adjust the PDF using Acrobat bookmarks or come with different paratags and levels not to break implicit structure. Have a critical look at the semantic meaning of the paratags you use where there may be alternatives to level 5 to the location that you have placed the. Also what happened to level 3 and how that will work in bookmarks when it gets used somewhere in your documentation?

  • Text tag renders does not correctly

Hello - I have a couple of text tags that are not displayed correctly. I have a signature required for the signer, then a mandatory field for their full name, then an optional field for their title. I've added these fields to the document downloaded as follows:

    {{Sig_es_:signer:signature}}

    {{N_es_:signer:fullname}}

    {{Ttl_es_:signer:title}}

When I saw the document, fields are rendered with a red border (I thought would indicate 'compulsory'...). When I send a test document, I see the signature field correctly, but there is no field for the display name and the title of field is marked as required.

    Any help appreciated - thanks

    Hello Nbennett25,

The fullname field is extracted from the E-Sign of the signatory account (if they have) and if there is no account found, then the field will be empty until the signatory provide signature in the signature field by typing the name and then it will automatically fill in the Fullname field as well.

  • Fonts renders does not correctly. Am I missing something?

I have PS Elements 10 for Mac. I tried to understand why my text is not rendered correctly. I type in a Word and although shift caps lock is DISABLED, the text appears in capital letters. In addition, the spacing between letters is wide. I tried searching in Help and options, but cannot find anything. Does anyone have suggestions on what could be the problem?

At the far left of the options bar is a small triangle. Click on it and choose the tool reset in the menu dropdown.

  • Lately on the Web, pdf files are not correctly; What is the problem and how can I fix this so I don't have to use IE?

I am a teacher and often need to open the PDF files of academic electronic databases of journal articles. In the last two or three weeks, when I try to do it using Firefox, only the first page of the pdf display and the rest are empty. In addition, a bar appears in the upper part with the message "this pdf file cannot be displayed properly." So I had to switch to Internet Explorer to open files and do my research. What happens and how can I fix this problem so that you can open PDFs from the Web in Firefox and ask them to work correctly?

Hello, firefox 19 introduced its own Viewer integrated pdf - if you want to switch it to the plugin you used before displaying a PDF file just go to the firefox options > applications and scroll down and set the default action for the portable document (pdf) format.

Jenny, the link to jQuery.mobile css is missing from your new page. Add this before line 7 (before calling twt-mobile - theme.css)

No, it won't be linked to your version of Windows. Probably, you wait too long. Conversion cannot be perfect except for the files very easy.

  • Captivate 6.0 does not correctly open the linked PDF

    Hello world

We Captivate 6.0.0.199 and create a project that will be delivered off-line (whether as html or exe).

Under the project, there is a button that connects to an external PDF file.

Result: At the launch of the published project, the PDF file does not.

    I tested 2 attempts:

#1: I entered the file name of the "naked" just pdf file the action field of the button ("zertifikat_de.pdf") leaving aside any path. After the publication, I copied the PDF in the same level as the other files (on my local hard drive).

Result: the application exe (or html) started locally does not open the pdf file (nothig happens).

#2: I used the fileselect box to enter the location of the my pdf file; Thus Capivate will register in the action box this:

    'C:\Users\ast\Documents\LBET\translation\43_Captivate\zertifikat_de.pdf '.

Which such publication Captivate me to copy the files in publication record.

Yes, I copy the pdf file in publication record.

Result: The published application opens a file pdf but THE WRONG ONE! It refers to the location of the original source file where cptx and the original pdf is. When I delete the pdf file, the published application IS NOT open a pdf file.

It seems that the published application is waiting for my development path on the end-user macnine. It's strange.

We make this application to run e.g. on CD or in any arbitrary folder.

How can I me Captivate for this?

    THX.

    Alex

Please, update as soon as POSSIBLE to 6.0.1.240, you're always on a first version very buggy. The free patch is here for more than a year (October 2012). Not quite sure, but there are a few problems with pdf and files paths resolved if my memory is still OK.
