pedal for guitar organ?

Looking to replace a B9 EHX pedal with something in Mainstage, y at - it a guitar pedal plugin which don't simulation organ?

Atracksler:

There are "rotating" audio effects that can be controlled with a pedal or a switch (for slow/fast or slow/brake/fast) expression.  He made some nice effects with a guitar effect. You can also add tremolo, vibro, chorus, overdrive etc. You can also split your sound of guitar in several bands of channels to have effects different (for example a clean and another performed).

Personally, I use a Roland GP10 for guitar at the conversion of midi (and computer audio) and run the sweet midi synth B3 in Mainstage with rotating effects in more acoustic (from GP10) and/or electric guitar (from Mainstage) sounds. Guitar and B3 go together like chocolate and peanut butter. In addition, I often add a few key synth sounds as well. The GP10 has really good conversion and I here that Fishman Triple Play is also a very good guitar to midi converter as well. You might be able to pick up some other Roland used gear such as GR55 or VG99, etc. which would do well for you but the GP10 has the best conversion midi Roland at the present time.

The possibilities are endless for sound design and mix. Enjoy!

  • Assign pedal for only some sounds in a patch?

I'm a newbie on MainStage 3, and I ran everywhere I can not solve a problem on many patches that I am programming.

I would assign my pedal to some sounds in a patch, but not others.  (For example, I want to support to the sounds of piano, carpet and string in a patch, but not for a sound of arp in the same patch.) How would I go to do this?  (A lot of searching through forums/YouTube tutorials has not yet found the solution of it.)

Thanks for any help you can give!

In edit mode, click on the channel strip for the sound you don't want to respond to the sustain pedal.

Then, in the Inspector of channel (down to the center of the screen), click the input tab MIDI.

On the left side, you will see a list of check boxes labeled "filter". Select the item of "pedal of Sustain (64) ' in this list, and the synth assigned to this channel strip no longer meets the sustain pedal.

I use this feature a lot in my plots of control meets various controllers synths. For example, I often will filter the controller "Expression (11)" so it does not affect the piano sounds (because the volume of this noise is controlled by the speed), but it affects organ or horns or other.

  • How to disable direct sound when you use a plugin for guitar?

I use the Waves GTR plugin for recording guitar in Logic Pro X, but because it puts a lot of pressure on the CPU, I tried he governs through a "bus" instead of having the plugin separately on every guitar track. The difference is that when I use the bus option, I can't seem to get rid of dry direct sound which is obviously very embarrassing. The only way for me to get rid of the direct sound is to use the RTM plugin on every guitar track that quickly causes the overload program when using several of these titles.

Anyone know how to get rid of the direct sound when you use the alternative of bus for the guitar tracks?

just at the exit of the guitar channel strip no output. This way you won't hear at the follow (because the dry track will not be transmitted to any output)

Even if the software was not intended at window 8, this does not mean that it will not work. It is possible that you can install the software, and if it does not work you can try to run the program in compatibility mode. There is unfortunately no new software available for Windows 8.

  • No sound when guitar hung on the macbook air.  entrance monitoring, on strong connections.  Speakers as microphones, strangely, but nothing straightens guitar sound.

    Hi all

I'm operating out of a brand new MacBook Air.  I tried to interfacing with 2 separate 3.5 mm adapters, but also a USB adapter without success.  I have followed input turned on and I am getting no sound what so ever of the guitar.  Strangely, my speakers seem to act like microphones when I am connected, but nothing is to recognize that a guitar is plugged.

Very simple configuration.  The Paul > electric guitar string > guitar string 1/4 in an adapter of > 3.5 mm 3.5 mm adapter into the headphone jack of the computer (also tried USB adapter) > choose the guitar/bass track (also tried audio) > select input 1 (or USB) > monitoring of activated entry = absolutely no sound guitar!

Any guidance here will be very appreciated.

    Thank you!

The headphone jack is an exit, not an entrance and the USB is a digital input, your Les Paul is not digital, so that all the senses.

Get a USB preamp for guitar, connect through that.

    Nice axis incidentally.

  • USB foot pedal problem (Infinity IN-USB-2): recognized by Windows but does not work on VMware Workstation 10

When I connect an Infinity IN-USB-2 pedal for my guest Windows 7 Professional (on Ubuntu 14.04 and VMware Workstation 10.0.2), the pedal gets recognized by Windows and different applications, but by pressing the pedal itself has no effect.

I downloaded a USB foot pedal Tester (http://vec-infinity-in-usb-1-foot-pedal-tester.soft112.com/) on the client and he acknowledged that the device is connected, but when I pressed on any of the three pedals, the tester has not detected the presses.

I tried the pedal on a real Windows computer, and it worked fine.

When I connect the pedals, even with the guest in the foreground, VMware Workstation will appear a dialog box:

The specified device is claimed by another (usbhid) driver on the host operating system. The device can be used. To continue, the appliance will be first disconnected from its current driver. [Cancel] [OK]

When I click 'OK', we state above: Windows recognizes that the device is connected, but foot-presses are not detected. My other USB devices are not pop this dialog box. (Click Cancel maintains the device disconnected from the guest.) I don't know if the dialog box is significant or a red herring.

Here's what/var/log/syslog says when I connect the pedal with the Windows client in the foreground:

Thanks for the ideas on solving this problem.

Answering my own question: I spoke with a salesman who told this pedal does not work on virtual machines for the following reason:

These pedals are all just Universal USB controllers that require programs or applications to be able to see and recognize them for use. Because they are installed by the base of Windows and Generic USB devices drivers, they can not be seen my remote computers via USB sharing etc.

They recommended using a hotkey program to work around the problem. I have not tried this solution, but bought a different pedal that works out of the box with VM: a vP-1 vPedal. Lower build quality than infinity (in my opinion) but it works perfectly.

This is the idea of the key of the seller:

I have a solution that will allow you to use the pedal as expected if the remote program who need to use supports the use of shortcut keys. For example, these pedals are commonly used with NCH Software Express Scribe professional software. This software can use either a pedal, or you can assign the playback functions to access keys. In the scenario you are talking you re Express Scribe on the remote computer to use keyboard shortcuts, you then install Pedalware (http://www.altoedge.com/pedalware/index.html), a free Windows only the foot pedal utility made by NCH Software, you then use the Pedalware utility to assign the buttons on the pedal of a keyboard shortcut that coincides with those remote program.

  • Addition of virtual column: ORA-12899: value too large for column

I'm trying to add the virtual column to my test table, but get ORA-12899: value too large for column error. Here are the details.
Can someone help me in this?

    12899. 00000 -  "value too large for column %s (actual: %s, maximum: %s)"
*Cause:    An attempt was made to insert or update a column with a value
which is too wide for the width of the destination column.
The name of the column is given, along with the actual width
of the value, and the maximum allowed width of the column.
Note that widths are reported in characters if character length
semantics are in effect for the column, otherwise widths are
               reported in bytes.
*Action:   Examine the SQL statement for correctness.  Check source
               and destination column data types.
Either make the destination column wider, or use a subset
of the source column (i.e. use substring).
When I try to, I get the correct results:
    SELECT col1, (REGEXP_REPLACE (col1, '^ABCD[A-Z]*_'))
    FROM test_reg_exp;
    Thank you.

Yes, RP, it works if you give col2 size > = 400.

@Northwest - could you please test the same w/o having a clause of regex in col2?
I have a doubt about using a REGULAR expression in this case Dynamics col.

Notes and restrictions on the virtual columns include:

The indexes defined on the virtual columns are equivalent to a function-based index.
Virtual columns can be referenced in the updates and deletions WHERE clause, but they cannot be manipulated by DML.
The tables containing virtual columns may still be eligible for result caching.
Functions in expressions must be deterministic when the table is created, but can then be recompiled and non-deterministic without for as much invalidate the virtual column. In such cases, the following steps must be taken after the function is recompiled:
Constraint on the virtual column must be disabled and re-enabled.
On the virtual column indexes must be rebuilt.
Materialized views that access the virtual column must be fully refreshed.
The result cache must be flushed if the virtual column acceded to the request (s).
    Statistical table must be regathered.
The virtual columns are not supported for the organized and external object in index, cluster or temporary tables.
The expression used in the virtual column definition has the following restrictions:
It cannot refer to another virtual column by name.
It can refer to the columns defined in the same table.
If it refers to a deterministic user-defined function, it cannot be used as a partitioning key column.
The result of the expression must be a scalar value. It cannot return that an Oracle supplied the data type, a type defined by the user, LOB or LONG RAW.

  • Is it possible to make a guitar with AS3 tuner?

I would like to put a tuner for guitar on my site: http://www.FuzzyMonkeyTabs.com , but it seems that all programs flash there labeled as just guitar tuners notes guitar of game and expect you to know when your guitar string matches the reference mark.  I saw Java based tuners guitar that will tell you the note you play and how far tune it is like this:

    http://sourceforge.NET/projects/oTuner/files/oTuner/latest/oTuner_Source_Code_for_Programm ers.zip/download

I wonder if the flash has the ability to analyze sounds to determine their main frequency?  Should I learn some Java coding to accomplish an online guitar tuner?  Thank you guys.

you will use the micro class, and if you are lucky, you will be able to use the method computespecturm() of class soundmixer with active fft.

  • The sound quality of ripped music is very poor

    Hi all

I have the Windows 7 operating system. I used the Windows Media Player installed to rip all of my old records, as I want to go completely digital and all of my music stored on portable hard drives.

    OT: Windows Media Player
The problem I have is that with CDs, the sound quality of ripped music is very poor, for example the singers voice can still be heard, but some background instruments can barely be heard or is not audible at all, drums are absent from some songs, guitar, organ or bass is absent from others. That leaves the music sound "tinny" without depth or wealth.
Is it possible that I can solve this problem?
    Thanks to you all.
    DavidS-13

    Hi David,

There are two ways to change the rip while settings in the Player library. You can insert a CD into your CD-ROM drive and click Rip settings, or you can click Rip music tab in the Options dialog box. The music tab Rip in the Options dialog box offers additional options that are not available in the Rip settings menu.

I suggest you to change the RIP settings and see if that helps.

I use sonys picture motion browser software to get the raw files off a Sony HD camera and on my hard drive (a separate physical disk from the operating system drive). I shoot the m2ts files in my project and as soon as I have a m2ts video in the timeline and play it, the sound will start but the video will lag, showing the same frame for 15-20 seconds before jumping awkwardly to another frame. If I let the video game latecomers worsens and the audio quality will start to deteriorate to the point where the voice sounds like they are fed through a pedal distortion guitar or something. I found that if I go to edit > Preferences > Audio hardware and set the default device back to 'First Pro ADM Sound' and then right towards "Lamda" ASIO it sort of "pop", the sound card and the clip will play smoothly for a few minutes until the video starts late and then the audio starts degrading to the distorted voice and I go 'pop' sound card again. Depending on the size of the project I am working on I can just to do this just once or twice during a shift of 8 hours and other projects (like today) I have to do every couple minutes.

I don't know that I've left something so feel free to pull him out with additional information you need.

    Thanks in advance,

    Brandon

    Hi, Brandon.

Just recently, I deal with a similar situation from my Panasonic AVCHD camera and the box that I had just did not have the ponies to treat. I have since bought a new box that is more reasonable, but I also put in place a step in my workflow.

Because I'm only producing a standard def output, my first step is to convert the files .mts of my camera SD files uncompressed via a program that Panasonic provides for this purpose. This gives my release of performance system much more to work, because I'd rather have my box burn CPU cycles on reading, rendering, etc. to chip away the extra bandwidth that I don't need the HD source material.

Initially, I found that my lower power box treat reading an AVCHD video line, but when I started layering multiple video tracks playback would stutter, cough and the direction the nearest pub. This technique made me all night with this box in anticipation of a new arrived, and of course puts less load on the new box as well.

Hope this is useful and fun!

  • Why the page jump and readjust some sfter of time, I come back to a point, especially when you use Ebay?

I don't know if it's a problem of Firefox or Ebay. I'm a volunteer salesman for an organism of charity and when I click on a list to check, and then return to the list click on the next page element readjusting upwards and I click on the wrong item. I notice it more on Ebay because I use so much and because it causes annoying interruptions, but it happened with other pages. Does anyone else have this problem? and if so, how do we stop it happening - it drives me crazy.

Try to open links in a new tab with middle-click instead of in the current tab.

Then you can close this tab to return to this page.

Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion Media Center m7760n desktop computer and its HP OEM ASUS P5LP - LE Leonite-GL8E mother.

I think you are trying to push the machine beyond its useful limits. The motherboard has 3 slots PCI and 1 PCIe x 16 slot. 3 PCI slots are already occupied with the modem, b/g wireless and TV tuner cards. We can launch the modem and install a card USB 3 and SATA III. Mix the wireless b/g and install a b/g/n card. mix the TV tuner and install a new TV tuner that gets o-t-a HD install a graphics card with HDMI. So we are shy of slots... we can perhaps use a USB TV tuner or b/g/n wireless card to compensate for the lack of slots. I would get a PSU Corsair CX430 or CX500.
