  When you use Windows Media Player, I was hurt a lot to identify my music. A lot of music I have is not available in the Microsoft music meta service database. What gives? I can almost guarantee you if Microsoft used the MusicBrainz data, Windows Media Player would be much easier for the Organization of the music. Data MusicBrainz are much better quality than WMP user feedback data.

  Finally, I fixed my problem of codec.  It turns out that it is the 6.9.2.26 codec DIVX version.  I uninstalled all DIVX software and re-installed 6.8.5 and now everything works.  Windows Media Player 11 now play AVI encoded with mjpg, as well as Adobe first Elements 4 camera.  In addition, first elements will now load a DX50 encoded AVI, who had stopped working as well.

  Plenoptic was not entirely compatible with Media Player v12 and all non compatible
  visualizations have been removed. Those who have tried to install this file from
  Media player v9 did not have much luck.
