  There's something weird going?  I finally got my apps install but I have to jump through hoops to do it.

  Try this and see if it works.

  1. Go to the store and select applications to install (with me, they all failed)
  2. Right click near the top of the screen and a menu bar will go down.
  3. Click on "your Apps".  Now, you will see a list of the applications you want to install.
  4. Click the button at the bottom, click the button install.
  5. Quickly, click on the link in the upper right that shows "install...". »
  6. Before installing, click on one (' preference who appeared at the origin of evil ' and click on 'Pause'.)
  7. Now, with a single application pause, check to see if you can now install others.

  For some reason, I can't get installed apps if I have an app paused.  After that the applications installed, I can un-pause that I've paused and install this one.

  I understand that you can not upgrade to Windows 10 Windows 7 as your BitLocker should be disabled. When BitLocker is suspended, secure the TPM validation does not place and other authentication methods, such as the use of a PIN or USB key to unlock the operating system drive, are not applied. I suggest you refer to the following steps to disable the BitLocker Drive Encryption:

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.

  2. Find the drive on which you want that BitLocker Drive Encryption turned off, and click turn off BitLocker.

  3. A message appears, informing you that the drive is decrypted, and this decryption may take a long time. Click decrypt the drive to continue and turn off BitLocker on the drive.

  By performing this procedure, you have decrypted the drive and removed BitLocker protection. You can now upgrade to 10 Windows upgrade.

  Please can anyone help with this? I tried for months to upgrade to windows 8.1 Windows 8 on my Samsung laptop. I contacted Microsoft twice online and they the two remote access my computer. The first time that they said it should work now, so I tried that, still no luck. The second time they said it was due to my internet so I had to try another box/connection of the internet? So I tried at my parents House and still the same message. I read so many tips on this and found that I got a lot of updates that I had problems with them doesn't work does not, however, I fixed that and now when I sfc / scannow in cmd it says no errors there is more, however when I use the microsoft diagnostic windows update it says I found corrupt files , but when I do sfc / scannow and dskchk cmd it says nothing is wrong.

  I'm now up-to-date with updates windows (except another option...)

  Basically, I really want to install 8.1 after all this time, but get the same error code 0 x 80070003 whenever I try to keep. It downloads then when moved, it says this. Can anyone help with any idea on what to do?

  Error code 0 x 80070005 is also described as ACCESS DENIED (you may not to install updates).

  Please check that you are logged into an account with administrative privileges.

  Please follow these instructions if you encounter this error code during checking or install updates via Windows Udpate.  What follows applies only to Windows Vista.

  1. Download AccessChk (Sysinternals).  This tool allows you to assess the level of access of some users or groups of resources, including files, directories, registry keys, global objects and Windows services.  Here is the link to download the tool: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb664922.aspx

  2. Save the file on your desktop zip and extract the file:
     -Right-click on the file and select extract all...
     -Click Next when prompted for the Destination.

     Therefore, you should see a folder called AccessChk on your desktop.

  4. Hold the SHIFT key and right-click in the window.  Select "open here command prompt.

  5. A command prompt window should open a similar message:
     C:\Users\\Desktop\accesschk >

  6. Type the following command and press ENTER:
     "" AccessChk.exe "nt service TrustedInstaller" s - n k ' hklm\software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing "> accesskchk.txt

  If I open the bookmark sidebar, it is empty. If I use the menu bar, the Favorites are all here. I tried importing from Internet Explorer, but they still do not appear in the sidebar.   Problems with bookmarks and history does not properly can be caused by a corrupted database places.sqlite file.
