  I'm sure you know, the new taskbar in Windows 7 axes of apps.  Individual files or locations within these applications cannot be pinned as their own icon, but rather as options in the shortcut (right-click) of their parent icon list.
  With Internet Explorer 9, this functionality has been extended to allow Web sites to pin to the taskbar.  Note that there is a fine difference between site and Web page.  You can pin the whole site but not the pages of this site.  Similar to an icon for PowerPoint, then lots of different PowerPoint files on this right click on the list of shortcuts.
  An alternative is to create shortcuts to the pages and make them appear on the icon in the toolbar to IE.  To create a shortcut (rather than a "pin site"), you need to right click on an empty spot in the Web page and choose "create shortcut".  You will be asked if you want to place on your desktop, click Yes.   Then drag the new shortcut to your taskbar to pin it.

  Hello cryptorchidangel, you can either install the addon searchreset which should get rid of the problem, or you can manually reset the page that opens on each new tab enter Subject: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears), search for the preference named browser.newtab.url , and double-click on & change its value to on : newtab.

  Using a box with picture fill will not automatically grow if the number of pages increases. You must use the image as the fill Page which seems same to any page length.

  The grey image (texture of cotton) can be used as filling the page, titled "Utah Nahro" with the image of mountain can be used as fill box pinned on page header.

• Why only 4 pin tiles when I open a new tab on v.38?

  Right after the update to version 38, my new tab page displays only 4 of 9 tiles PINNED (popular pages) that I had before.

  By following some instructions here, I just checked the value of "browser.newtabpage.pinned" and all 9 sites are stored. BUT they are not displayed. Not sure if it is a problem of space with version 38. Maybe someone on your desktop can confirm. It seems that the new tiles are more "real estate". If so, it is a design flaw and let me tell you, inexcusable. The most visited pages/tiles feature is incredibly useful.

  BTW, in classic vs. improved settings makes no difference.

  Hi, you can change the number of tiles on the Page of the new tab to zoom in or out (Ctrl and + key, or Ctrl and - key).

  You can also keep the same zoom setting when a new tab is clicked: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.newtab.preload and double-click on it to change the 'value' of true to False.

  It is also possible about: config to change the maximum number of tiles by scrolling to the browser.newtabpage.columns (or Rows), then right-click > modify to set a new number of 'value '.

  As an alternative, you might like to try the add-on new tab tools.

  Changes manually on the subject: newtab page are stored in the preferences you can find on the about: config page.

  • Browser.newtabpage.pinned stores the Web site you pinned to a tile.
  • Browser.newtabpage.blocked stores the Web site that you've deleted by clicking on the X button in a tile.

  From your problem description, I understand that you are not able to locate the Facebook page at the beginning and you do not get an option to pin the page to start.

  1. is the issue limited only to the facebook page?

  2. are you able to pin applications/websites to start?

  3. don't detach you from the start option when you right-click on it?

  The card mother p6110y stock must have a 24pin connector. The 250W power SUPPLY Bestec had that a connector 20 pins, according to specifications listed here. I can understand Frank question you. Your comment is very confused.

  Please confirm:

  1) the 24 pin motherboard.

  (2) original power supply was 20 pins.

  (3) new power supply's 24pin.

  Check this page for the connectors. You will notice the capture of latch and the card mother PSU. This locking.

  Does make sense for you? The clasp and are on the other side.

  

  You can plug a power supply ATX 20 pin in a motherboard with a Connector ATX 24. The image above shows the power cable plugged into a motherboard 24 20-pin pins. A power cable 20 pin compatible only with at one end of a connector to motherboard 24 pins so you cannot insert it incorrectly.

  It is possible to apply the Parallax scrolling on a shape that is extended to horizontally fill the browser? I create a scrolling single page site and lack a form of conceal a certain fraction of the lower part of the browser (I can't use the PIN because then the shape will move with the bottom of the browser depending on the size of the window). Parallax works very well on the form until I extend it to the borders of browser, then gray out parallax. This will benefit in a future update? Is there another way for me to get this effect?
