Perplexed!

I recently installed a new router WRT320N and am generally happy with it, but I have a problem I can not quite understand.

I have five devices: three PC and two laptops.  Four devices can access the network shares available on other computers, but the another computer (which is where EasyLink Advisor is installed, as by chance) cannot see the other four devices network shares.  When I click on "Microsoft Windows network", it hangs for about 30 seconds before displaying "Workgroup."  When I click on I "Workgroup", hold it again for about 30-45 seconds then I get an error indicating that the network path is not found.  I can access the Internet through the router, however.

This particular PC is under XP SP3 with all the latest MS. patches  I checked all the usual suspect things and can't find anything that seems to have changed.  EasyLink Advisor sees all the devices on the home network and all the IP addresses are correct and in the correct range.

Any thoughts?  I'm out of ideas.

Problem solved.  A wrong setting of the Windows Firewall was all screwing.

    Good troubleshooting and I like the idea of testing the erasedisk.bin file. Send me an email to [email protected] / * / and I will reply with the file you need. Regarding the activation key, which should not be a problem. Just send [email protected] / * / the serial number of your device and explain your situation. They can dig to the top of the key for activation based on the serial number provided.

  • Failed to insert video in the timeline? Perplexed...

    Hi all

    as a quick check has not revealed a similar problem, I am autonomous detachment. Sorry if this has already come up before. in any case...

    I use the last first Pro CC on a mac and I have a recurring issue where I am unable to introduce some video files in the timeline. As I remember, it has nothing to do with a specific format (I may be wrong, however), but here's what's happening. In general, I import a new batch of video files into a project and then, when I try to drag in the timeline, it simply doesn't let me. Tried dragging from the preview screen, using the video icon under him, all I could think off. Even more, I can't click with the right button on the video and turn into a new sequence. Previously when this happened, I usually solve it by dragging in one of the other sequences, until one of them accepts it (based on no criteria seems to me). From there, I can copy/paste in the designated order. Hilarious things. Anyway, this time, none of the existing scripts accepts these files and I am out of options (not to mention the time).

    FYI - the bar more left of video in the timeline (V1 - Vx) is checked, it is not the standard pickle. Also, I can right click and edit and do what I want with all the other files, it's just the specific files I can import at one time. This never happened before the last update, at least not for me. The file in question sinned this time are Quicktime ProRes video files, no sound, but I'm sure that it happened with a couple of other types of codec, however for most of the QT containers, I guess.

    Quick follow-up. Just, I solved the problem by clearing the sequence in and out points. Let me repeat that - compensation the previously settled points within a sequence that doesn't have nothing to do with the video in question allowed me to right click on the files in the project tab Oh, also, before I 'solved' and output whenever I saw these video files in the window preview and right-click on them happened Premiere Pro would crash. And now, after erasing the In/Out in random order, which, as far as I know, has nothing to do with me the preview of a file in the preview window, it doesn't crash anymore. Everything works perfectly. Don't not to mention that, when I cancel the In/Out clearance, he'll be right back to break and ignoring the video files. I mean, my boy, that it is simply priceless. ++++

    Would much like to know what causes a particular problem, so I would be grateful for any comments on this subject.

    OK, Exactley the description of what said...

    Ive been using AE for more than a year, but did not use wiggle cam because I was studying my course... I understand how it works I all click the stopwatch to null Position then wiggle (12.34) etc. (is that at the time?)

    But that when I RAM Preview does nothing nothing at all... I can't work on what could I possibly missed because Ive looked at a lot of tutorials and I do exactley what the guardian did but to no avail...

    SooOo bizzar and frustrated...

    IM thinking maybe something to do with information wiggle? or is it a lousy option I have to reset or something?

    Do the film layer 3D. Problem should be solved. You have no 3D elements in the scene. The camera position has no effect on a 2D layer. It would also be useful if your null was 3D.

  • Perplexed before the gradient mesh

    I used the gradient mesh in time. Usually, it does exactly what I want it to so I never asked me how it worked. Today, I was working on a project and I can't seem to get the mesh to do what I want.

    So I went out to do some research and I can't find information on this topic anywhere. It seems almost mystical. So, if there is a great resource that explains the logic behind how Illustrator choose the beginning and end of a line of mesh, please send it to me and I apologize in advance if this info is easy to find.

    Here's my problem. I have a curve. If I click in the curve where I want a line of mesh, the mesh line does not follow the shape of the object.

    When I use create gradient mesh, it's the stitch that I receive. My question is why the mesh lines did not follow the curve of the object. The first two columns are fine, but the last column is totally messed. Why he chose to use the points outside the curve as the end points? I get similar results when using the NET tool.

    As I know there is no way to change it, after the mesh is created. You cannot delete an end point and you can not move it without completely rebuilding your silhouette.

    I created a simplified form with fewer points and it does exactly the same thing.

    Does anyone have a help or advice on this topic. I don't understand why you are not able to control where the beginning and the end is a stitch line when using the NET tool. How is it chooses a start and end? This puzzled me. It seems random to me but I don't know it's just because I didn't understand the model at the moment.

  • Perplexed... Latitude D630 and D830?

    Rather than moving to a new office, I use a laptop with an external display and docking at the office. When I take the laptop home, I'll use a docking station, but the laptop monitor. I am, frankly, stuck between the D630 and the 830.

    Most of what I do every day is now - Microsoft office, Outlook, Word, some Excel; Listen to music via Itunes; sometimes watch files graphics, but for approval, not editing. I was watching a DVD movie or concert on the road.

    I keep reading that 4 Gig of memory is useless, unless you meet BONES and 64-bit software. Thoughts?

    Is the largest display of 1-1/3 help on the D830? I have a Latitude D610 2005 at the back of the office, and it will probably become permanent home; not sure how the new D830 stacks wise compared to what I am currently hauling.

    Due to my view, I'm not sure of the WUXGA and would probably order the UltraSharp WSXGA + any laptop, I bought.

    Is the D630 the best offer in terms of 'all things considered '? Especially considering the weight?

    Finally, should I pay the extra $ 50 for the loaded XP, Vista upgrade - or just take the leap to Vista Business?

    I configured both $ 100 from each other, and with the sale, the price is right on.

    Any advice would be welcome.

  • problems with Sierra

    Since download macOS Sierra on my MacBook Pro I couldn't access one of my external hard drives, my mac just does not recognize them in Finder although she acknowledged more small sticks of data. Can someone help me?

    When I go to disk utility, that the external drive is there but the system indicates that the disk is full. Anyway, that I can't have my data.

    I spent over an hour with technical support and they were also perplexed I was much help in the end. Their only suggestion was that the configuration of the software had been changed by the download and I'd need to buy a new external drive and copy my files across using another machine. Well I bought a new external drive today only to find that it is not recognized either in the Finder and is also read as full in disk utility.

    Any ideas people? I would really appreciate your help

    External drive would not be formatted with the NTFS file system isn't it?

  • Keyboard in iOS Safari 10 appears when the is not necessary.

    I have a problem on my site, where the keyboard in Safari is showing all the time when there are areas of text on the page.

    The HTML code on the page is built using JavaScript, but there is no box entry and no reason the keyboard would be necessary.

    Does anyone know what are the causes of the keyboard show, or whether or not it is documented somewhere?

    I'm desperate for more help please.

    I have an iPhone 6 + 128 GB running iOS 9.3.4. I just noticed in the last few days or all my notes and all but one of my email accounts have disappeared from my device and I can't seem to get back them! I have travelled abroad (in Greece) for the last four weeks and noticed the question while I was there, but decided to remedy this when I got home.

    I think that my notes may have been attached/linked to my iCloud email address (this email has not been used as my Apple ID and has never been), but when I tried to add this in my mail application I get a message that my account has been blocked for security reasons. So I tried to unlocked do so I can add it to my phone again and hopefully recover the missing notes. I have zero luck with that. During the unlocking process, I have the option to do it via e-mail or security issues. Safety issues tell me that I don't even know that my date of birth and e-mail option sends the email to the address iCloud Apple have locked? !!! Quite ridiculous. I'm really perplexed and a little disgusted by flawed how this reset password unlocking process is. Not to mention the possibility of not being able to recover the notes that I lost and they contain a lot of important information! I have a back up on my PC (Windows), but I fear that the use of this will wipe away anything from my phone that was added after I backed up before my trip abroad or other data.

    I am also having a very hard time to add my gmail email accounts in my mail as application his requesting information server etc, that I simply cannot. I've never met before and I have no idea what caused it. SO I would appreciate some help with this please. I really, really need to solve this problem...

    This looks very suspicious to me - as if someone took over your account.  I guess you try to unlock your Apple ID, through the standard process, and, when're asked you your date of birth, told you that it is incorrect.  This probably means that someone else is in your account.  Never share your Apple ID / password with anyone?  Perhaps they have been compromised, especially during your travels abroad?

    What about adding email accounts in gmail, when you click Settings > mail > accounts > add account, simply choose 'Google' as the type of account and all appropriate server information will be provided for you.

    Tried the update to Mac OS Sierra and it seemed that everything was fine, but at the very end of the process, it would not be completed installation.     I have a Macbook Pro retina mid 2012 with a processor clocked at 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 M 1024 MB graphics, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM and a SM768E of APPLE SSD flash hard drive. I ran disk utility, and it says everything is fine. I tried different approaches, several times, but no matter what I try, I can't seem to install the new macOS Sierra. I even wiped my entire computer and started from scratch, by installing a clean OS X 11 (El Capitan) and then try to install the Sierra, but still it does not work. This makes me think that maybe that's a problem with my App Store account? But given that I was connected, I'm not sure that it could be. Or maybe it's hardware related? I do not know. Even the SR Advisor. Apple I was talking with the phone was perplexed.

    The warranty on an iPhone is not international. It is limited to the country in which you bought unless this country is part of the EU whereby the warranty is valid in any country of the EU.

  • Firefox don't forget homepage, theme addons and some settings every time I start my laptop. I tried a lot of difficulties, but none work?

    This issue started happening just after the update to Firefox 42, I think. What happens is that whenever my laptop Windows 10 boots and I start Firefox (and sometimes after the signing and to my Windows profile), the browser acts as if she just updated, and it also checks the compatibility of the addon (see image 1).     Delete the folder %AppData% Mozilla.

    .. .and different combinations of the foregoing. The simple fact is that even after a clean FULL of Firefox on my laptop, including the removal of all my info to a separate location profile, this continues to be. The homepage being reset to a weird search page looks like adware or malware, but I was not able to detect anything via scan or look in my addons. I'm really perplexed and at your mercy.

    Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.

    Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
    All of these programs have free versions.

    Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

    Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.
