  I try to use the PLL vi in the Modulation Toolkit to lock to an external frequency acquired a 24 bit data acquisition card. The external FREQ is in the range 30-800 Hz (chopper optics) and the sampling frequency is 20kS at this time. The ext signal is a square wave.   Can someone give me a hint on how to proceed?  Do I really need a full cycle of the DSP or can I get away with a few experiences?

  I tried a few filters and now finally done with the default coefficients! It turned out that they work very well for my purpose. However, the default filter for some reason settings any require a signal that passes through 0 (a 0 - 5V TTL will not work!). I now use the vi "scale 1 before I have to send the signal to the processor of the pll. The output nonlinear phase in higher gains can be treated by linearization of phase in a specfic fitting routine. It needs enough oversampling to do.  Now I have at least 80 dB suppression of harmonics in my outs (independent on vco gain) pll.

  To really improve things, a filter PLL vi design would be needed that implements all the theory.

  Just after the update for Sierra, my shift key don't work as it should. I can use it to make caps, so I know there is nothing wrong with the keyboard, but I can't use it for shortcuts in the programs.

  The problem seems to have disappeared with the upgrade to V17.0. It must have been a conflict between my WinXP and V16.0.2 that the problem appeared when the upgrading to V16.0.2 and disappeared with V17.0.
  I have not had the problem with Win7 on another machine.

  I will mark the problem as solved when I have used Fx for a few days and the problem does nor re-occur.

  Typing and all of a sudden a whole paragraph or half a sentence is deleted and the cursor wraps in the To: or Subj: line!  I can only think that my finger is slightly touch the control or fn key at the same time as the SHIFT key. (I hope it's nothing worse for what is the computer works.)  Is press left SHIFT + control key or the SHIFT key + fn, a kind of shortcut for deleting and the cursor jumps to a different location on the page or in the address area?   I think in this case you need a new keyboard because there is no single room for the keyboard and only the entire keyboard can be ordered and replaced from an authorized service provider.

  As much as I know the Toshiba utility cannot add additional functions to shift and make this key as a stop button.
  I have gift? don't know if you have installed the 3rd party applications that can change the keyboard feature, but you should check this possibility.
