Phoenix HP 860st: buzzing/crackling noise from inside Phoenix new office 860 st

I bought this PC in March and there has always been a low buzzing/crackling sound eminating from the appliance.  I recently hooked up a Rift Oculus and the sound amplified by ten or more.  Here is link to a video from my phone showing the sound with the computer idle.

https://DL.dropboxusercontent.com/u/28074518/IMG_1993.m4v

The sound is extremely boring and unbearable when hooked to the Rift.  It seems to be a problem with the graphics card.  The graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970.  The phone is supposed to be compatible VR.

We use the Dell PC at work, running of Nvidia GeForce GTX 980.  They are quiet as can be.  No buzz or Hum at all even when hooked to the Rift.   I may have been a mistake by opting for the HP for my system at home.

After a long review and negotiation with HP, my system was completely replaced. I said that it is actually coolant system and that it could not be repaired due to the unavailability of the part. The new system works pretty well.

    Hello

After a reinstall of the operating system, you must reinstall the latest drivers from your computer manufacturer's website:

Go to the website to make your computer > Driver and Software Support Section > search your computer or hardware model number > then your operating system > locate the correct drivers > download and install.

    ________________________________________

And you do not tell us why you did a reinstall and if there reboot/freeze before you did this reinstall.

FYI: Desktop computers normally are Wi - fi unless you install additional hardware for this.

    ________________________________________

Noise inside a desktop computer can be caused by fan/s or harddrives about to fail.

Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > search your computer specifications > know brand of hard drive > access the Hard Drive manufacturer's Web site > find and download hard drive Diagnostic software and make a record of start of it on the computer that you use to get here, following their instructions > test your hard drive...

    See you soon.

My P300 violently out a couple of times before I noticed that the AC adapter was cold. Now it works but it makes noises insects and gets very hot. It is still under warranty but I wonder if anyone knows what is the problem?

    Thank you.

I agree with the previous user Akuma adapter does not make strange noises, maybe something is broken I don't know exactly what causes this but I recommend you to contact the ASP too
The adapter should be checked and if necessary to replace the defective part.

  • Satellite A300D-205 - strange noise from inside

    Hi all!

The last time, sometimes (1 - 2 times a day), the laptop starts beeping, monotonous and continuous 3-5 seconds, even when it is completely turned off.
And there are no warnings or concerns are not displayed on the screen... At the same time, this problem-when viewing most DVDs disc 1 to 5 minutes, freezing the image and CD-rom without success trying to throw the disc again and again.
The whole process is accompanied by a perceptible vibrations...

    What can be? Please notify.

    > Last time, sometimes (1 - 2 times a day), the laptop starts beeping, monotonous and continuous 3-5 seconds, even when completely off
These beeps are created by the BIOS, which means that a power on its own, fear has not been evaluated correctly.
    What does that mean?
Well, in most cases, this means that it has detected a problem on the motherboard.
It can be everything; ODD, RAM, GPU, CPU or a tiny part of the motherboard.

As you can see it is difficult to say what could be wrong
It your case it would be necessary to contact a local ASP which could check the device.

  • Is it supposed to be a rattle from inside the phone?

Got a Defy a few weeks ago. Love it until yesterday when I suddenly cant' hear someone on a phone call and only the speaker/headphone works (like make a few posts down). Back to T-mobile tomorrow.

However, my phone has a deaf/rattle sound from inside the phone when you shake it, and you can feel something moving inside. I thought it was something to do with sensors/accelerometers in the phone or something, but now the internal speaker is broken I wonder if it is supposed to do this or if she actually always a hardware problem.

Phone of someone else than the same noise/do the same thing? Is it supposed to do this or not?

    -Daniel

There should not be a rattle... but there is!

I have the same problem. It is caused by the battery move when you shake the phone, it doesn't have a tight fit. I used a piece of foam under the battery very thin to stop this rattle noise. Not impressed!

You will see on these forums that some users have had problems with defective headphones... so far I did not have this.

Hope that such Defys won't suffer from bad workmanship I really like the phone.

Check your battery by shaking the phone with the cover off... let me know how you go.

  • Weird noise from VN7 - 792G

I bought the machine in June and he was silent, but now, we have heard a very low volume hum / buzz (a bit like a mosquito passng by your ear, except 3 octaves lower) more frequently. He comes from the right - about in the vicinity of the Enter key and performed intermittently for about maybe 2 or 4 seconds that the machine is actively processing data or update Web pages. It is not correlated with the fan turning power. Any ideas?

You have to disassemble the laptop to the point where you have the motherboard out. Remove the thermal unit from the motherboard and replace the thermal paste before reassembly with new thermal unit. It is useful for a little bit of noise from the fan?

Here is an example of the heat unit,

  • make a clicking sound from inside my Mac

Just started today. Every few minutes I get a clicking sound from inside my iMac. It seems to work ok, however. Thought, it may be overheating and cleaned by vacuuming all the vents, but it did not help.

Perhaps an early indication of a hard drive failing. Support everything up immediately (if you have not already) and get it checked with a free diagnosis in an Apple Center.

    Hi all
I just bought a Camileo P100 and fully charged.

Although it seems to work when you take a picture the camera 'clicks', the video recording the LED flashes, the touch screen is black and I don't see anything.

When you touch the screen, it doesn't seem to be working (there are noises from the unit when I touch the screen), but the screen is black.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Hello

Try, press and hold the button On / Off a few seconds.
Also check if the opening of the camcorder is open

But it looks a bit like a hardware problem.

I also wanted to turn on the pc, it lights!
There are AC lamp light but not on the battery!
Then, I removed the battery and then put it in its place again and the pc started normally!

    Help me

c.p. my ram is 2 MB

    Hello Cezar

You should clarify directly with your local dealer or the Toshiba service. I have too many Satellite A200 and my laptop is quiet enough and described it is not normal for me.

Sorry, but to say with certainty if there is something strange or not I should have the laptop in front of me. Second issue with the battery is as strange and it is certainly the second reason to contact ASP.

  • Noise from HDD on Portege R830

    Hi all!!

I bought my Portege R830 for almost 6 months and sometimes I hear a little sound coming out of the computer as a small hiss... when the pc is the treatment...

I think its coming from my HARD drive... is - it normal in this model?

    Thanks in advance!

HARD drive creates some noise as a cooling fan is making noise
Therefore it of difficult to say what part product that said noise

    Ask yourself if its normal?
Well well, my computer s portable HARD drive creates noise from time to time in particular, then it seems that the disk head moves

  • Equium A100-147 - clicking noise from the HARD drive

For awhile, I had clicking noise from the HARD drive and when the laptop could not, I assumed the reader was packed but trying a replacement nothing happens. I get a blue light for battery and a blue light (low) for the supply of direct current, but nothing for power or disc. However, when I plugged in an external drive yesterday it starts fine and when I unplugged the laptop continued to work the internal drive. But even once this morning he died and will not start. I read that the BIOS can stop recognizing the drive or maybe that the settings are not being saved when it is off. Could it be the motherboard battery?

    > reading the BIOS can stop recognizing the drive or maybe that the settings are not being saved when it is off

Enter the Bios (press f2 at startup) and check if it recognizes the hard disk. You can see on the home page or the boot option in the Bios.

  • NEITHER 9205 always returns the noise from rail to rail.

    Hi all

I'm completely stumped on this one. I went through the procedure of implementation of the NI 9205 module in my project. Setting the channel to the appropriate type. Placed the node IO in my FPGA code, read and all I get is noise from rail to rail, that is, whatever the measurement range is, I'm getting noise across the range. I ran it as a measure of CSR, as a measure differential, differential with COM updated wrt my diet, differential with COM Earth and the mass of the chassis connected to my powersupply ground.

Rail to rail noise ringing bells for anyone?

I checked with an oscilloscope that the appropriate signal is seen on the pins in all the configurations above. I even unplugged and plugged a 3 v battery through the pines and still noise from rail to rail get.

    Help!

HM, I used the 9205 before, but didn't have never seen something like this. I am more fan of data buffering in a FIFO, rather than reading a control value, but still, you shouldn't see this kind of securities for a reason that I don't see. I had problems with the modules where something is messed up and randomly, the signal will drop out then go back (in fact, I am about to send an or because it is still under warranty, but it's in a portable box, so I think that he may have had problems with shock or something of the sort). I wish I had a good answer for you, but you seem you know what you're doing, so it could be one of those cases where there is a hardware problem.  You have any other module HAVE you can share and see if those working in this niche? You can try it in a different location to maybe see there is a connection from bad backplane? You can also check if your local rep OR has a loan that they can indulge for a day, just to see if another 9205 works. Usually, these are the steps I take when I think that there may be a hardware problem. Unfortunately, except that I don't have a lot of input for you.

  • Move data directly from inside the loop

Is it possible to move data directly from inside a loop outside the structure of matter in real time? I would like a chart of the data in a structure of matter in real time outside the structure of the case. Ideally, it would include information of the real deal and then the waiting period as a '0' for false case. Attached is a version simplified VI I'm working. I tried the local variables, but they only read the first item for loop puts each cycle T/F. One idea is welcome including a complete change in the structure of the VI.

    Thank you!
