Phoenix HP don't Envy 810-330qe no sound

I received my new 330qe 810 envy yesterday, 10/07/2014.  I followed the installation procedure according to the operating manual provided.  I then turned and followed the instructions on the screen to set up Windows 8.  I connected my speakers that I used on my HP Pavilion present h8 - 1080t.  They worked on it.  I also tried my helmet, but they didn't work either, as well to the rear and the upper side.  The 1080 a Realtek HD Audio card.  810-330 a map of Beats Audio.

I went through all the troubleshooting the problem proceedures, but nothing helped.  I read several of the posts in the troubled forum and did the solutions said, but the problem exists.  The audio system of the graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GTX 745 works on the HP w2338h monitor.

  • HP Envy 810-260na - no sound

    Windows 8.1, Beats Audio.

I just bought this desktop computer, but cannot get the sound to work.

I connected a 5.1 speaker set that works fine on another desktop.

I use the analog output 3 (orange, black, gray), not the S/PDIF as speakers do not have an optical connector.

However, the sound control panel shows speakers/headphones as "not connected" and it shows the digital output (S/PDIF) as the default device. I am not able to change this configuration.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The speakers are Dell MMS 5650.

However, I stumbled upon a solution - I did an additional connection, namely the line of the pair of speakers on my monitor: it worked well, and in addition the other 5.1 speakers were suddenly detected! Then I was able to configure as a 7.1 configuration. Although not exactly what I designed, I am satisfied with this arrangement.

  • Want to Phoenix 810-330qe: upgrade, update necessary graphics card power supply?

I'm a Phoenix 810 - 330qe, currently equipped with the stock Nividia GTX 745. I bought a graphics card GTX 970 upgrade for better gameplay and use of possible VR helmet. I have not yet installed, but wonder if my power supply must be upgraded to handle it all. If so, will what power take?

The new card is spec'd to draw 145W and recommend a power of 500W. The 745 GTX is spec'd respectively 55W and 300W. The current stock PSU is rated at 500W, but do not know if that pushes its limit. The only other setting I had installed an SSD alongside that of stock.

    Help suggestions, thank you.

I would upgrade the PSU, considering that you've also added an SSD.

    Hi Mike,.

Consult this publication of the article.  A measure such as the graphics card that you referenced is long of 11.6 ".  You may need to choose an another 760 from NVIDIA.

I don't foresee a problem.  Your PC has a 600 Watt power supply.  Check that the power supply of your PC has a power PCI-E 8 connector pins and a connector to power PCI-E 6-pin.

If you are having problems, and then consider the information posted by HP below.  You may need to disable secure boot to get the card to work, but after that, you should be able to re-enable this feature.

  • HP ENVY 810-445qe: mSATA in HP ENVY 810qe

I just bought a HP ENVY 810-445qe with a 16 GB mSATA drive.  How do I know if it works correctly?  The startup time is somewhat less than a minute.

    Hello

The 16 GB mSATA is a data caching solution and it will be faster compared to using an SSD for the start.

Data caching with the motherboard in your PC could be performed by a service via hardware or software according to the question if this feature is enabled in the BIOS.  Usually the HP in the past has used a software service with W8 for the caching of data.

Try some boots and see if the issue changes.  If this isn't the case, then contact HP support. If you are still not satisfied with the boot time then return and exchange the PC within the 21-day return period.  After 21 days, it becomes a warranty issue.

Your PC has a chipset Z97.  My Z97 PC chipset which is fully configured with several hard drives and SSD boots much faster using an SSD, given all the bells and whistles that are enabled.  However, I can boot from a 7200 HD using Windows 8.1 in about 30 seconds and less than 15 seconds using an SSD.

  • HP ENVY Phoenix 810-330qe intermittent IDT no speaker no headset no sound

All new machine.  Audio resigned after 12 hours.  If after installation, sometimes it arranges auto.  The speakers/Hheadphones in the Audio window shows the device as not plugged In, which is incorrect.  The specified default device is output digital (S/PDIF), but using the optical output port. No amount of updated software or the restore has permanently fix the issue.  Reoot and get lucky is not a good solution.  I think it's a hardware problem and need to return the machine.

HP Tech support recalled.  Had run me diagnostics to start.  During switching on, press the ESC key until the Start Menu displays. With no BONE in the mixture, the component Test option will send a test cycle to each audio device.  In this case, with a record of speaker in one shot at a time, test each audio port.  No sound has never been detected during this test (4 ports).  A problem with the hardware out of the box found technical support. Audio ports are a stand-alone module that is riveted to the hull, so almost no repairable on site. Has got to send it back. Not a fix for the problem of equipment, but a resolution on the issue.

    Steps to reproduce the prolbem:

Connect the speaker plug. Start the PC. No sound.

    Steps to fix the problem:

Remove all caps, speakers, headphones, etc. Start the PC. Connect an audio device, sound works, until the release of the sleep cycle.

Suggest running diagnostics to boot and test all components without the additional OS uncertainty flakey.

These new green machines is not audio to a port if a card is not detected. It would save more than 1 million machines milliwatts per machine, but mulipliied and you get the picture.

  • HP ENVY 810 Phoenix 293d: update BIOS for HP Phoenix 810 Mainboard (293d) with (MS-7826 (Kaili))

Hello. I need BIOS update for HP Phoenix 810 Mainboard (293d) with (MS-7826 (Kaili))

My current bios is dated to the 29.05.2014 80.21

You can try to extract the .exe for the files. Just more work but not a guarantee and it would even work. HP has made the bios updated mainly to run through the OS itself when updating. Or they would put the files to a USB stick as another choice. That's what I guess.

  • HP Envy Phoenix 810 - 170st: Startup Hp Envy 810 - 170st problem

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=bmpOezTOfPU

    Greetings,

My pc is having a serious problem to initialize. When I turn it to be closed, it will not display. The lights come on, but the graphics card is not set up to start the monitor. And the fan is running at its top speed. It will be either do it for about half a minute and close, or should I stop it manually. Usually, the next attempt to start, will show the power comes on for about 2 seconds and then right back off the coast. After that, he goes on, and then will begin a normal start procedure. The problem started a while after obtaining a SSD hard drive.  The SSD is used as primary Windows startup disk and 2 3 TB drives were used for storage.

The problem is very confused, as one of the 3 TB drives the windows main drive helped, but do not solve the problem. So, I can not link on the SSD drive, running the pc on ACHI vs sound original RAID, or if there is a real problem of power or the motherboard.

I have a box from looking at it, but this brings us to another problem. I don't have the pc in the configuration that was causing the most problems, because an associate of HP called me, said that if I sent all the additional parts, they would probably not returned. I could lose my extra HDs? And if I can't properly present the problem, is it possible that it can fail, and my machine is back with the same problems?

SSDS are sometimes a problem and I don't really understand it.  In the early days the cloning software was having a problem with the SSD drive.  Different manufacturers have problems with the motherboard controllers, etc.  Now, I assumed that the problems are more or less solved.  It could be in one of these areas, but check with the Samsung forums to explore options for this SSD model.

  • Graphics upgrade to HP ENVY 810-109 Phoenix map

    Hello

So I'm kinda a noob full when it comes to what whether computer associated, so I was hoping that someone could inform me on whether or not to buy a new graphics card and install it would be possible based on the specs of my computer.

My specs are in this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04119478

And the graphics card, im looking to buy is this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487028

If you can also explain what it is, I'm looking in order to tell if a graphics card may or may not be installed in my PC (just for future reference so I know what to look for) would be great

    Thank you

I'm not sure what the first answer talking about.  Computer parts are completely standardized, and (of course) allows you to determine if the parts are compatible.

The motherboard of your computer's MS-7826 (Kaili).  It has a 16 x PCI-e 3.0 housing.  That's exactly what the card needs.  It then comes to know if you have enough power to run it.

The card says that he needs to "power supply of 400 watts or more with a minimum of 20 amps on the + 12 rail v.  Your diet is a diet of 600 watts with 2 "PCI-E power connectors (for high-end graphics cards)."

That's all you need.  If you're still not sure about that, order gold Amazon.  You will be able to return the card, if this does not work, and there is no shipping cost.  The only thing left is to know if the card physically fits.  Just measure.

Also, remember that the computer you bought is a high-end computer intended to be ugraded.  Do not trust people saying that you could not switch from a scalable computer, especially when they base their reasoning on the possibilities at a distance without explaining further.

    Hello

The specifications for your PC indicate a 600 Watt power supply.  I suggest you open your PC and inspect the PCI-E power connectors.  How much is available and how many pins on each connector.

The most recent 7xx and 9xx NVIDIA graphics cards should be compatible with your PC.  You just need to match the graphics card with the size of your diet.

  • Upgrade Windows 7 to 8.1 Pro for HP Envy 810 - 145qe (J0X43AAR #ABA)

I just bought a HP Envy Phoenix 810-145qe which is preinstalled with Windows 7.  Specifically, I bought this system because it was faster than my old desktop processor and I could spend 24 GB memory to 32 gb that I did.

I went to the HP site and checked if this model has been tested by HP that came back had not been tested with Windows Pro 8.1.  Can someone tell me if I've stuck with Windows 7 on this new machine?  I really need to have Windows Pro 8.1 because I develop e-Learning programs that need to be tested in an environment Windows OS 8.1. Please notify.

    Hello

I don't see a problem with the installation of Windows Pro 8.1 on the 810-145 envy.  HP has released drivers for Windows 8.1. There is little difference between Windows 8.1 and Windows Pro 8.1.

    1. Check with the manufacturers of your application to make sure that you don't have a problem with Windows 8.1
    2. Run Microsoft Windows 8 upgrade assistant
    3. Don't forget to create the external HP recovery media.
    4. Back up your data and also download drivers HP Windows 8.1 posted on external media.
    5. Buy licensed Windows 8.1 and download Microsoft support.  The Microsoft download process will allow you to create a bootable USB flash drive or an optical medium.  I would recommend that you download the ISO support and then create the desired boot media.
    6. Follow these instructions from Microsoftto install Windows 8.1.
