  I received calls from the 408-454-2934 number, my caller I.D. not stating that it is from San Jose, California. Although Adobe's corporate headquarters is located in San Jose, the phone numbers do not match. After a search fast on google, I found that it could be a scam of collections, the appellant to do pretend to be collections of Adobe to update credit card information. More probably because your payment is late or not can not be processed. If you do not need to update your payment information, on your Adobe account page instead of by phone. I believe that adobe would simply suspend your account until you were able to continue to make payments. Anyone calling for the credit card or other personal information is probably a scam these days. Be careful.

  The telephone number provided by you is not scam, it's a number between our billing service that helps you update the credit card details, if necessary, inform & help if payments are blocked due to any reason.

  I have two iPhone 6 s. My recent show of my wife's phone calls.  Strange?  Also, my phone will not ring sometimes, ringer is on and volume is turned up.

  Stop sharing an iCloud account. They are not designed to be shared.

  Phone rings does not is a different issue... maybe. When this happens, does the screen light up indicating that an incoming call? The call log lists a missed call? Have you checked to make sure that do not disturb is not active?

  There are a lot of different scammers do these kinds of phone scams. They operate worldwide and are difficult to control or track. Personally, I am red which helps.

  Some people say that they don't own a computer and hang up. In this way these specific Crooks, at least, have no reason to remember.

  Your best defense is to know when it comes to scams - tell your family and your frends too.

  Although you already seem to know that these calls are usually scams, here's my usual advice:

  Is there such a thing as Technical Support for Internet Protocol for computers? I got a call (Friday, September 10, 2010) a business (have the name and number) informing that they received our Support for Internet Protocol details and virus/malicious Trojan horses have been making my computer that caused our Microsoft programs down and they would help solve the problem.  I refused the offer - took the name and number (has managed to find the name/site of the company on the Internet).  The Internet provides support and they would use other companies to communicate with customers to fix their computers.  Either way, we ran a scan on the computer ourselves and found no viruses etc.

  I received a phone call from the India, claiming I had a virus, and it seems that I do... I followed the steps, they gave me, but I was unable to give them remote access to my computer (IE; take control). I found out because it is a scam.

  As they were unable to access remotely are they still able to access my personal information?

  And will install an antivirus on my computer to get rid of the virus known as I have now?

  Looks like a scam. Please do not hear these calls. If they failed to take control of your computer, then there is no need to worry.

  I suggest that you download, install and run Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if it helps to flush out the virus.

  I would also say that you used your main security software of Microsoft Security Essentials .

  It is a scam.  You must scan your system for malware and viruses.  If you gave them any personal information, which they can use to steal your identity, you will need to contact your Bank and credit card companies.
