• X 220 does not sleep well in the docking station

  Hello!

  When my X 220 are in the docking station (3 ban) and mode 'sleep' it often just turns on again. I tried unplugging all devices (mouse, ext.keyboard, etc.) the station host, but with the same result. All the drivers and so on are updated.

  Anyone have the same problem and/or for any solution?

  I would double check your Power Manager setting and make sure they are properly defined and are not wake your computer the. There are a few settings in the BIOS that can do the same thing and suggest you checking these too just before we have to start looking elsewhere.

• MacBook Air for Docking Station connection problem

  I am trying to connect a MacBook Air to another monitor via a Kensington docking station, but they do not communicate. The additional monitor is sent immediately to sleep. If I connect Air to the monitor directly everything works fine, but I want to simplify my life with the docking station. Anyone have any ideas?

  Well, I understood the question. It seems that the original DisplayLink software I was using was not correct. After connecting with Kensington, they gave me info on a new beta driver and it works fine.

  I have some problems with 2 cell phones.

  I bought a 7020 used to replace the broken of 7200 screen. After having disassembled the screen, I noticed that the connectors have the same number of threads, but one of the terminal of the 7200's screen has more.   You'll be really lucky if someone here can help you with these old models of laptops. I'm sure they have about 10 years.
  No manual maintenance and sufficient knowledge is not easy to help you with this replacement of the screen.

  This problem with docking station may be related to defective hardware. The two laptops are so similar, and two of them can be used with this docking station. How you can be sure that equipment is high on 7020?

  The BIOS updates are available on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_bios.jsp, but as I can see for Portege 7000 there is no updated BIOS, just to 7020.

  If you wish, you can contact the nearest Toshiba service provider. they have manuals for maintenance for this old notebooks and allow you to provide accurate information on the parts you need.

  Not the kind of glance down. Laptop manufacturers have abandoned well enough compared to consumption patterns and offer only on purely business models. You can always use a docking usb 3.0 and usb 3.0 for such high bandwidth you can have things like video and other ports gateways that work very well. The downside is that a usb 3.0 docking station invoice not the laptop isn't really a docking station for my way of thinking, just a 'port replicator.   I just got the USB docking station - C HP Elite Thunderbolt 3 65W.

  I plugged in and my Elite X 2 1012 G1 fresh, but that's all. No ports do not work. The monitor is not recognized or the other.

• Clock freezes in the docking station

  I have the docking of Milestone 2 and recently I found the clock freezes randomly while my phone is in host mode. The separator flashes but the time does not update. This affects the main clock display and the time in the notification bar.

  If I lift the phone out of the docking station or press the power button two times then the time updates immediately. This problem is intermittent, sometimes the clock works normally, at other times, it will freeze. Earlier tonight for example it froze, I lifted it out successor and it froze again. I repeated the process and it works correctly (for now at least). I restarted the phone, but the issue does not appear to be linked to the availability, as I experienced it immediately after a reboot.

  I have seen this issue a few times on the retail firmware, the Milestone 2 was released last year.

  This question seems to have been fixed with the update, which will be published shortly in Europe.

  I will announce when it is available.

  Duh. It was too complex. Docking station disconnected and plugged the cord on the plug headphones. Problem solved. But still think that the card should work.

• Audio port Ultra Dock docking station does not

  I have a laptop ThinkPad X 240 with Windows Enterprise 8.1 x 64 installed. His plays very well from the speakers of the laptop, and when I plug in external speakers on the computer portable 3.5 mm audio port, they work very well also.

  But... when the phone is rooted in my Ultra Dock 90W docking station and external speaker cable is plugged into the dock's audio port, there is no sound.   Dock Ultra has (I think) the latest firmware installed (version 2.22.000) and I have the latest audio drivers installed: in Device Manager > sound, video and game controllers > Realtek High Definition Audio > driver version is 6.0.1.7188 which is the last available Lenovo support downloads.

  What should I do to get the Ultra audio port Dock works?

  Nothing should be plugged into the microUSB port, there is a magnetic sensor near the port that allows to the docking station. It may have just come up through error, but this is the way to activate it.

  I have a 8570W with an A7e36AA docking station. I used to work perfectly.

  Recently, I don't know what changed, I can not power on the base and the notebook.

  When press the power switch on the docking station, it lights up, and between 2 and 8 seconds, the system is off again. All lights are off.

  Yes a USB 3.0 dock most a spare adapter is not a bad option. As opposed to a snap down where you just walk up and put the laptop on the dock (snap) and then press a button on the dock to start, with a USB 3.0 you plug in USB, plug in the AC adapter, open the laptop, turn it on, close the lid (you will need to configure not to sleep or stops when you close the lid) and go.

  USB 3.0 provides a good external monitor support and gigabit ethernet, audio, and anything else you want, just more hassle to work with.

In the end, I just bit the bullett and both plugged to my laptop... She has chewed on everything what adding new material for some time, but then she moved and purred... I even tried plugging and unplugging does material of a docking, and still she purred...  Mahalo to look at the problem (not) with me... Apparently the business Windows Vista is quite difficult to adapt to both stations and host at the same time...
