  Please uninstall the 14 items first - uninstall Adobe Premiere Elements or Photoshop Elements

• What would be the best video editing and photo editing software to use for an iMac for advanced users?

  My first exposure to video and photo editing is on a PC with Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop.  I own a Macbook Air and have used iMovie and iPhoto.  It took me a few years to sort and organize thousands of photos archived and videos.  Now, with the changes in Final Cut Pro and the loss of the opening, I am, even once, sitting on the fence.  Compatibility between the software has always been a controversial issue and that you accumulate more and more files, it would be nice if Apple should keep in mind to develop software that can be upgraded seamlessly without losing or change any data.  For example, the photo is correct, once you become familiar with it. However, personally, I like the way events were created in iPhoto, but also how you can scrub through each event, just sweep a finger of each event.  Now in the Photos, you need to scroll right rows and rows of pictures, which seems to be a step backward when it comes down to the speed and convenience. I finally have the time to go back to my hobby of video editing and I was about to buy an iMac or a Macbook Pro.  What is the best choice for video and photo editing, or should I be looking back to Adobe?

  I use the demo version of Fireworks CS5 and have played around with the demo version of photoshop element 8.

  I wonder if I would be able to do everything with photoshop CS5, I'm able to do in Fireworks CS5 and photoshop elements.

  Guess I could ask this question in the forum of photoshop, but I really want to hear from developers and designers who use dreamweaver too.

  I do print design, illustrations, photos and web Photoshop and Illustrator are tools of my trade.

  I opened Fireworks, once and never watched it again.  It is not that the FW is a product of inferior quality or anything, I'm just more comfortable with PShop.

  One thing, I'll give you credit of fireworks, their PNG compression is far superior to Photoshop.

  I think buying a Toshiba NB200. The maximum screen resolution is 1024 x 600. I need a photograph and use Photoshop CS4 or Lightroom 2.5, minimum resolution of 1024 x 800.   I m not a photographer, but perhaps you can use Photoshop on an external monitor where you can choose a higher screen resolution.
  Check this box!

  An alternative, you can use GIMP. AFAIK there is no minimum screen resolution.

• Photo editing software has stopped working since 2013 Office installed

  Hello:

  For years I had used Photoed to adjust images for an assignment in eBay.  Photoed is all I need and is extremely easy as the user interface is simple.  I like "simple."  But Photo Editor stopped working from Office 2013 installed you see is a momentary circular and then nothing.  There is no splash screen only, no user interface without noth'in.

  Photoed has been uninstalled from the CP/programs, more research regedit all microsoft photo editor of the prints have been removed, allowing a clean installation of Office 2010 prior or I believe, 2000; I forget now what CD Office tools are.

  Does anyone have a solution to this problem?  If you do, I would really like to hear from you.

• Have 12 items. Many worked on 8.1, my new laptop has Windows 10. Now the elements photo editing software will open the image in raw, but once I did my settings and try to 'open image', it tells me it "cannot complete my request because an error occurred."

  Well, I typed my question in my title.  I have had absolutely no problem under windows 8.1 to 12 items, but unfortunately the death of my laptop could not be repaired, so I had to get a new 8.1 one and that time windows was no longer available on the laptop I wanted. Who would have the go-getter, comparable to my old and able to handle my photography.  SO I have an I7 processor 2.6 Ghz with 6 MB of cache and 16 GB of Ram with Windows 10 64-bit operating system.

  As indicated above, while the Publisher will open the photos in camera raw, once I made my changes and try to "open image" I get the message he, "it cannot complete my request because an error occurred." I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times with the same results.  I made also all updates have been made. About 10% of the time, it will open up the photo, but then when I try to record it says that I don't have enough memory.  Do not know how this can be, this configuration of the computer is basically the same as my other, only difference is windows 10.  Not even close to a full hard drive. No other program running. Help!
