  There is no syntax to move several files at once. You move each file individually and have a loop that goes through the files that you want to move.

  If you do not know the contents of the source directory, which complicates life. The package UTL_FILE does not tell you which files exist in a directory. I prefer a Java stored procedure to list the contents of a directory-Tom has a [example of Java stored procedure | http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0:P11_QUESTION_ID:439619916584]. You can also call a DBMS_SCHEDULER shell script to get a list of directories.

  I'd be a little curious as to why you use PL/SQL to move files from a directory on a database server to another directory on the same server where you also don't know the names of the files that you are moving. This seems like something a little strange to PL/SQL.

  1. Do you get this error message during the transfer of data to a specific folder or all folders?

  According to the description issue you get a warning message while transferring files a form to another folder. This could be if some applications/service/third party startup item is triggering.   One of the easiest ways to transfer files is to use Windows easy transfer.

  Windows Easy Transfer is installed with Vista and is found under Accessories - tools system or by searching for "easy" (with the quotes).

  You can transfer files and settings using a network share, or transfer files and settings using removable media such as CD/DVD or external hard drive. Windows Easy Transfer does not migrate installed applications.

  Using Windows Easy Transfer, you can migrate most of the files and the program settings. The following table describes the types of data and parameters that can be moved.

  Files and folders We can choose to be automatically moved all the files found in the folder My Documents, my pictures and Shared Documents. You can also add other documents located in other places. • PE8: Transfer project file from one processor to another

  Hi, I just transferred my project files and the actual PE8 file that goes with them to a new processor (new cpu is a new hp with 1 GB graphic raedeon, 1 TB HDD, 8 GB of DDR3 and Windows 7 hp)

  I installed PE8 and updated to 8.1, and the installation of all the contents of the dvd. I opened the file and it comes up saying "where is Mu022.mpg? I chose the physical file of my office and PE8 froze and shut down.

  I opened again and jumped past where is... part and found my video fully covered in 'offline' media icons.

  Is it possible to update all the files at the same time as the only way is freezing? or is there something else that needs to be done?

  Yes. Once you check in the project files to a new location, you should be able to just open the .prel file and all media will be there.

  Make a bunch of audio files, placed in a folder on my desktop. Files initially sent to RealPlayer to burn, but when finished burning CD and went to read a CD, folder got seized by Media Player, 'Indexed' and disappeared from the office. I'm a relatively new computer user, and I need to learn more about file paths, how to view the path FULL of a file on my computer and how to type (create) full path when I need to. I want my audio files in the My Music folder, but this place is "access denied." Don't know how to get the audio file it in any case, but if anyone has any advice, I would be very happy! Thank you. PS - I had no problem moving folders in XP. I don't like the idea that a computer is to decide where to put my files. I want to control where I put my files. I don't like the way search works under Vista. I liked the XP search companion better because, for a computer fool like me, it was really easy to organize and find files and folders and had an option specific to find audio and video file TYPES.

  If you move the range of data to load into the different cube, then you can use report script or calc extrcat data and can use the rule files to load the data.
  If you move the data to load into a cube replicated in another environment, you can take the lev0 data and can do the free form of loading.

  You must share the folders you want to transfer the ownership of the new username, or one responsibility that the new user has (I guess that's an Oracle Applications EUL). The user connects to Discoverer more with their new name. They open the workbook (s) and then do a SAVE AS. Who will save the workbook with them as the new owner. You must then sign with the old name of the owner and to delete these old files (after the first backup them) once you are sure that everything works fine. Yes, it is a nasty process. What we do is we use a "dummy" username when we create/modify the workbooks. In this way the fictional user name is the owner of the workbooks. So, it does not matter if a person leaves or if you change the user naming conventions. If you have many users to create cabinets, then a dummy user name doesn't quite work. You could always submit an enhancement request to Oracle for a copy function. I hope that you will get a lot of customers to support such a request.

  Try to go to iCloud.com to see if the elements are there and whether the device or the computer. That should indicate if the device or computer is not synchronizing. If the computer, try going to System Preferences/iCloud and stop synchronization. Wait a few minutes, then recheck the timing. If the device, go to settings/iCloud and do the foregoing.

  I have a problem that I'm sure has a simple explanation but I don't know.  I have a folder in the tree that whenever a user moves a file from one folder to another, the permissions do not update.  Yet if a user copies the folder to the same location, permissions to update as expected.  This only happens with XP.  If I try with Win 7, if the user moves or copies, update permissions.

  Explorer

  Explorer (explorer.exe) is the program that is the start menu and taskbar, windows folder and the office (which is a folder window).

   

  To see if a fix is available

  In Control Panel (and select Classic discovered in the left pane) select reports on the problems and Solutions (problem of type in the START search box), go to historical problem, right-click of your error and choose check for the Solution.

  You can also right-click and choose Details for more information. Post these details here. The name of the Module fault is important information.

  If the problem affects Panel press the Windows key + R and type wercon (or type it at a command prompt).

   

  Close the browser and start a command prompt

  • Close Windows Explorer
  • Start - All Programs - Accessories - right on command prompt and choose run as administrator.
  • Click Start. Ctrl + Shift + Right-click on an empty spot (just above the power of buttons is one place) then Exit Explorer.
  • Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete then Task Manager.
  • Control all processes to explore are closed. On the process tab select explore and right-click and choose end process, repeat if more of an Explorer in the list.

  Then to restart the Explorer after trying all of the following

  • Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and choose Task Manager
  • In the Task Manager, click the file menu and then click new task (run) and enter explorer
   

  If you cannot start the Explorer at all

  • Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and choose Task Manager
  • Under the processes tab, click Show processes from all users to elevate to administrator
  • In the Task Manager, click the file menu and then click new task (run) and type cmd

  If you cannot start a folder window you can use the Browse button in the new task dialog. Don't forget that you must right click and choose Open rather than double-clicking.
