  I can import the photos very well, but when I go to 'develop' photos appear just like the blue squares.   For two weeks I could not send email with attachment image. Only, they remain in the box shipping and after a few days are deleted without being sent. I also still receive an error message that Windows Live could not send or receive mail. But I'll receive all messages and any other mail that isn't photo e-mail is sent.   1. The error message indicates a corrupt Inbox.
  2. Messages if even received any at least in the second ID, in tools | Accounts, you also have the first account ID listed. First fix the Inbox.
   
   
  Error number: 0x800C0133 = a corrupt Inbox.
   
  Move any message you want to save to a local folder that you create. Then, remove the problem of Inbox as follows.
   
  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
   
  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.
   
  With OE closed, find the box of Inbox.dbx and delete it. Another will be created automatically when you open OE.
   
   
  To avoid this in the future:
   
  Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.
   
  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.
   
  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.
   
  Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes.   My box often takes a long time to receive e-mails, Registrant receiving 1 of 5.  So when they finally come thrus, I could have 3 exact same emails from the same sender and other 2 separate emails from different senders.  Often, I get a message that says: there is a mistake and I want to wait until I click on Yes, and possibly e-mail messages are received.

  Tools | Options | In general. What is: search for new messages every X minutes planned? If it's a short period of time and the previous download does not complete, it will start all over again. Increase the amount of time and see if that helps.
   
  You can also speed up delivery by disabling analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages.   From time to time, some of my emails are converted to code what looks like.

  There is no particular pattern as to when it arrives or the type of information in the email, some have attachments, some are just text. If the email has attachment image "garbage" that results can be a very long list.

  Can I retrieve emails and stop what is happening?

  Could be file corruption. Right-click on the folder of the problem, and then select Properties. Then the Repair folder.
  Be prepared to lose messages if the corruption is too bad.

  Assuming that it is an email account POP3, go to the message store and see if the messages are really there.  They must be located under the directories for the folder names under the main directory of local folders in the message store.  The store is located under the Users\ [username] \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\ directory and is hidden, so first go to control panel | Folder options | View and uncheck Hide extensions of known file types (so you can distinguish the eml files which are messages) and check the option to show the hidden files and folders.  Then you can see if the messages are in fact always there or missing.  See here for background: www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm and also here for what may have caused it: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 as Bruce stated, if the messages are still on the server, you can set up your account again and then download them again.

• Problems with importing photos using Windows - Photo files are corrupted in the Gallery windows

  I use Windows to import images from my camera (Canon Rebel EOS) to the computer (HP) and display them in the Windows Photo Gallery.  Recently, the photos in the Gallery become corrupt once downloaded, which means they download fine then when I open "Images" to see in the Gallery, they photos each are corrupted with ribbons of various colors, or the image is cut into strips to compensate.  It didn't happen when I uploaded the same photo files to another computer so I know that is not the fault of the camera or individual files.  I scanned for a virus (I use AVAST).  Can I fix this, or is there any other software I should use to download files?  I'm just a MOM ol ' ordinary looking to transfer the zillions of photos that I take my children.  Help!

  Try to rebuild the database of photo gallery that should remove corrupted files that could cause this problem. Do follow the steps mentioned below.

  It's as well as IMAP works, everything happens on the server, and what you see is a local representation. On new customers of e-mail (like Windows Live Mail and Outlook 2010) you have the ability to move these messages deleted on the record of deleted items on the server. you do not have this option with Outlook Express.   You want to disable the redirect... or on the HH under Messages > Options > e-mail settings, you want the value 'Send Email to handheld' no.

Since then, I have an error message saying: I exceeded the limit of storage on the server. To make the space available to move the messages from the server to your folders on this computer.   You can click right images where they reside, and then click Properties to see their size.

  I know little about Hotmail, but the error message means that you connect to Hotmail through the Web site and remove messages there.
