If anyone know the default settings (police, etc.) that have been used in LR2 for the copyright watermark?  I have recently updated from LR2.4 to LR3.3 and can not be installed on an attractive at the moment copyright watermark.  I was very happy with the 'old' default watermark and want to use again LR3...

    Thanks in advance.

I think that if you use 'Simple Copyright Watermark"LR3, you get what you had in LR 2.7. So you can compare this one when you try different options.

  • What are the best settings of catalog for long-term use?

I have 5 Lightroom and like many people, I learn that I will.  But I currently trying to manage the photos, without any sense real cataloguing and now Lightroom moves slowly in the mode of development.

Question #1...  These issues are related?

I don't know if it's available using catalogues, but I would like to have a system of Lightroom that allows me esaid and particular export shoot and then 'REMOVE' from Lightroom completely, without losing the edit history and allowing me to add additional changes (in the FUTURE) if necessary.

I don't see a characteristic of the SKIN.

Question # 2... Is this available through the catalog system?

    Can "re-import you" story edition?

Can effectively "HIDE you" a Photo folder or I guess... According to my original question... can 'HIDE you' a catalogue of photos?

    Background:

I don't know I need to set up the catalogs now, but don't want the hassle to guess how best and learn I did a big mistake later or make a choice of cataloging that will cost me later.

I only 6100 images in Lightroom now, but I would add an average of 200-300 per week. Sometimes much less... Sometimes even more.  200 images, I'm probably the only edition of 50, but I like the idea of having the stem (except for the absolute terrible shots) all available for future review or edition.

As slow as the activity is, photography is a new job for me, so I'll just do more years forward.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions as long as "layman's terms" and possible.

    John

If you do not back up your catalog on a basis regular then you are walking on very thin ice. If this catalog is damaged, or if your computer breaks down, you get the idea, you will lose all your work. Why don't you back up your catalog? This is the file that stores all of your changes, your whole story, is absolutely essential for the functioning of Lightroom. Are you ready to throw all your work? Part of the backup process optimizes the catalogue, which could contribute to the performance of compromise. But I would look at other opportunities as well. You can try to delete your preferences file to see if that makes a difference.

What are the security settings to lock a form with fields to fill and still allow someone drive to fill in the fields as as to save the form and print it?

You want to allow someone to open your document and fill in the form (the fields that you have created), but not change or edit the form, right? Here is the answer - assuming you use Acrobat Pro and someone will open the PDF with the Acrobat Reader 9 minimum and more:

    Tools > Protection > encrypt< encrypt="" with="">

    Select YES to change security.

    Opens in a new window:

Do not select NOT open the Document (or will require a password to open the document.)

SELECT: Permissions (check the box next to ' Restrict editing and printing of the document. ")

Change the following 2 settings in the drop-down list box:

    Printing allowed: select high resolution

Changes allowed: select commenting on, fill in the fields on the form and signature of signature fields
Selected leave: "enable access text for playback devices to screen for people with visual impairments.

Change password Permissions (insert a password)

Leave all the other settings alone in 'Options '.

    OK - OK

Again enter the Permissions password (the one you entered above)

    OK - OK

Save the PDF file to apply security [notice that (SECURED0 will appear after the title of the document]

  • What are the best settings for host when PPTX is looping continues

With the help of Jorma is was able to realize my PPTX in continuous loop, and change the number of seconds a slide was shown see How to let a pptx presentation run on its own

There is only one question left. What are the best settings. I find that to let him run, I need to press the sync button, but then participants may choose (inadvertently) to stop the presentation of the execution of the loop.

What are the correct settings, so that a participant sees only the slides (no side bar etc) and the loop is running?

    Your response is much appreciated

You should not need to press the Sync button. In the options menu Pod for the sharing, with the loaded PPT module, you'll see an option to view the presentation bar. Use that to get the part for the hosts and presenters in the room, then press the button play. The presentation will be now play in a mode loop for everyone in sync mode. You can also hide the PlayBar to keep other hosts and presenters to stop playback and Participants will never see the PlayBar or have the option to stop the presentation.

In addition, if your door essentially on the sharing module (highlight a focus), you can use the 'P' button to start playing the presentation without revealing the PlayBar to just anyone. Adobe Connect 9 * accessibility features

What are the best settings to export the .mov file? I have movie 1280 x 720 and I can export without problem, but sometimes it jumps or gets stuck when I play. I don't know if it's my video card or the actual file. I used better quality setting and compressor H.264.

    Thank you.

As you suggest, it could be a problem with your hardware that is not in a position to make the video on this particular resolution,

I tried the same thing and it works fine for me without any problem. You can always export the movie in a format you want and then use other software video converter to get the desired format. If your video does not work then you can also, to let know you that there is a problem with your hardware.

  • What are the size of partition recommended for installing Windows 7 Professional 64-bit?

What are the size of partition recommended for installing Windows 7 Professional 64-bit? I have a 2 TB internal hard drive and want to install Windows and Norton Internet Security on the drive C, drive D and drive E data programs.

    Thanks for a response.

    Brenda

Original title: size partition Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

For technical purposes, I recommend you only keep utilities all programs that you install on the startup disk. This is recommended if you plan to upgrade to future releases of Windows such as Windows 8 because you will experience problems with the installation program.

I recommend however, you can keep accumulated data such as Documents, Photos, music, videos on a separate partition to ensure custody.

The recommended size for the boot drive around things like Windows, future growth for applications and the Windows updates and program updates will be considered.

So I recommend not more than 200 GB, for a lot of space, I would shoot up to 300 if you want to keep things like System Restore Points.

  • What are the techniques of compression permitted for PDF/A-1?

The PDF/A-1 standard does not specify how the compression is performed. What are the techniques of compression permitted for PDF/A-1?

The information that I have collected (not sure if all are true)

    1. LZW should not be used
    2. JPEG2000 may not be used
    3. Some say, JPEG can be used, but it's a lossy compression. (Standard PDF clearly indicates a lossy compression cannot be used)

How to determine if a particular file is PDF/A-1 also or PDF/A-1b and what type of cuts are used in this file?

    Thanks in advance.

Adobe Acrobat Pro provides preflight profiles to test if a PDF conforms to a PDF/A or PDF / X standards. There are also options to convert a PDF file to one of these standards if these corrections are possible.

FYI, there are specifications for the various PDF/A and PDF / X specifications that you can buy (on paper or downloadable PDF files) of the ISO.

    Hi Scott,.

If you change the settings in display properties, you can change it to default by selecting the Windows XP default theme. This will change all default Windows fonts and their sizes.

To do this, follow these steps.

    a. right click on an empty space on the desktop and then click Properties.

    b. on the themes tab, click Windows XP in the theme box.

    c. click OK.
