  is not - and never has been - responsibility of MS to pre-installed Windows help, a large part of the price of Windows is the support costs. Manufacturer have always had the responsibility to provide software support for the warranty period. Most interprets this as giving instructions on how to use the recovery media :(

  Yes, by using the recovery media should give your system its true status.  It will delete all data and programs, so go back to external media first!

  Yes, sorry we do not have an immediate solution - it has taken some time to understand what was going on when we arrived the accident through WER data (it's kind of a sort of bug "that should not happen"). But once we narrowed it down to some data on the CPU and contacted the developers of libraries, they were able to isolate it is fast enough. Now test it on each processor, we have and we hoping to get it out with the next version.

  So I did a simple brush of a sheet, and after I selected the presets that I want for this brush my photoshop crashed, which happened several times. Interestingly, I noticed that if I do not choose the color dynamics and change the front / bottom jitter, photoshop is fine. But I want to be able to use this preset! Any ideas?

  Except for who gave the routines normal troubleshooting (prefs in now command-alt-shift and hold rampage starting Photoshop, deactivation of 3rd-party plug-ins, system maintenance, validation of fonts, etc.)?

• Scanner (Officejet 7500) cannot find the computer when you use shortcuts scan to printer

  When you choose Scan to PDF, e-mail, etc., by using the scanning on the 7500 buttons it allows me to select the computer on the network (each with all of the latest drivers and software loaded). However when about to the scanner and then says the computer is not found (whatever the) despite them being on and ready. Scanning by any other method of the Mac works. Automator shortcuts work very well during the tests, but they do not seem to get initiated by the scanner for scanning form of initiation of the printer itself.

  Research on the support site HP and conclusion - a 'connection error' or "Computer no. detected" Error Message displays when trying to Scan from the printer control panel - as a subject gives PC solutions, but nothing for Mac. And so here I am. Help!

  The next thing to check is that "HP Device Monitor" is running.  This background process is responsible for detecting the keys for scanning applications.  If you open the activity monitor (located in/Applications/Utilities) you should see this class as one of the running processes.

  It may be generally preferable for you to perform an uninstall and reinstall the HP software.  You will find in Applications/Hewlett-Packard HP Uninstaller.  Use this utility to remove the old software.  I recommend that you download and install the latest version of the software for your 7500 here: http://tinyurl.com/4voly2d.

  I had a problem recently with Photoshop on Windows, and it has destroyed my workflow these days.

  Whenever I try to use a keyboard shortcut (for example, V to use the move tool), photoshop will believe that I try to open the view menu at the top. clicking away and pressing V again just reopen the menu display, and I'll end up having to manually select the tool. This happens randomly for a large number of different tools.

  Why does this happen? How can I permanently turn it off?

  Could you please click Edit and then click keyboard shortcuts.

  In the Menus and keyboard shortcuts, please take a look at the screenshot and see if the shortcuts are assigned a default value.

• [SOLVED] - Thunderbird constantly crashing, especially when you use Add Ons Manager, but sometimes just at the point where the program remained open.

  I used Thunderbird earlier today, when the power is in my neighborhood. Given that the power was restored Thunderbird has been crashing early and often. I can't get the program to open unless I have rename or delete the folder "extensions" in ~\Library\Thunderbird\Profiles\ < profile name >

  It will fail immediately if I go to tools-> Addons. Finally it will crash just sitting just opened in the background. I have attached the accident below report. I'm on OSX 10.10.1

  I tried to remove and reinstall Thunderbird (to both the current and previous version)
  I have tried repairing permissions
  I tried to use Time Machine to restore the entire profile folder from before the failure.

  Any suggestions? I use Thunderbird for years and I'm very uncomfortable with it, but he might switch to the mailbox if I can't solve this problem.

  Transcode the sequences to be matched to an intermediate codec before using Keylight.  Do not use the images straight out of the camera.  And empty your cache frequently.

  I presume you are aware that the first step in a good w4ell key is good lighting and you have it.

• Photoshop crashes randomly

  Hope someone can help me with the following:

  -My photoshop cs6 crashes very often.

  -It closes just photoshop and sometimes (or always?) done close windows Explorer off the coast.

  I was experimenting the same problem. Have you tried to reduce the size of the Tile Cache to 128K instead of 1024?

• I don't see any icon to access the groups next to my tabs, as indicated in the help. I have to use shortcut keys.

  Yes, Firefox 4/5 is a bit different on Windows XP that orange Firefox on Vista and Win7, the button is not displayed and the MenuBar on installations of Windows XP. Simply right click on the bar of Manu and turn off Bar Menu item on the shortcut menu.
