  I use the tool pen to draw a shape and select to create a custom shape. I use the path: edit - define a custom shape = 'impossible to finish the order of custom shape set due to the program error.

  Well, it was pretty much a mistake in the way I created. I guess that because I deleted the path and created a new and each works well. So, if this happens just you try to delete the path and create a new form. Hope my experience helps someone. X]

  I'm having a problem with Photoshop is not opening.  It opens, and load it, but then I get a pop up notifiaction saying:

  Server, as it is at work, because I have the opportunity to take my laptop to work.  I get error at home, when I'm no longer connected to the server, and on a totally different WiFi network (the server is through WiFi).   Looks like you put a link/alias/shortcut in Photoshop file to a network server that is not currently online.

  Check all the stuff in your Photoshop file that you changed (plugins, presets, expansion boards, etc.).

  I get this error when you try to save a file to a file using the Save"" command.

  The message is false, because the file name IS valid.

  This error is persistent.

  This error will not occur when you perform the same operation on my second internal hard drive.

  This error occurs on the files above about 1 MB in weight.

  What is happening is that the original file which I try to do the "Save" command gets corrupted and lost.

  If I do not use the command "Save as" to save my work under a different name, my work is lost.

  Scan of AV scan anti-virus - using any AV software, you have installed, then Malwarebytes to be on the safe side.

  If it is only with this account, it is corrupt.  Your user profile may be corrupted.  To fix this use http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.

  I would consider it the highest priority that other procedures are General and you have now isolated the problem only one account - so, in theory, once we fix that the problem should be solved.  Hold off on everything until it's over and you have verified that the problem is solved.

  If this does not solve the problem (it should really - I'll be very surprised if it isn't), then continue with the other steps.  Even if the issue is resolved, I'd still run AV controls when you are finished, because who could have easily caused the problem in the first place.  Other running procedures also would not hurt that he would check that things are otherwise very much so I hope it does not return the problem and we can ID and solve these problems (if there is) until they get no worse.

  Suggest you start with the SHIFT key and click Yes to skip loading additional plugins and then, check if you are able to register successfully.

  'Could not initialize Photoshop because of a program error' is a generic error and means something unexpected.

  See the PSErrorLog.txt file in your folder of Photoshop CS5 preferences (C:\Users\> \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2014\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Settings CC). Which could give us an idea what goes wrong. In case you are not able to understand it, please copy and paste here.
