• Lightroom to Photoshop hang up

  When in Lightroom CC and I want to take picture with adjustments in Photoshop CC. I get a message "problem with the driver display & disabled temporary improvements using graphics hardware and the program hangs up.  I fact and Adobe update cloud on my adobe Photoshop and Lightroom yesterday.  I have a problem with front graphics card?  What should I do I can't seem to get this to stop.  I have to do a force quit to exit the PS and I also did a restart of the computer as well.  Any suggestions?

  Do not know what is causing errors GPU in other applications; mine fine work in 10 Windows with the latest video card drivers. (I mainly use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Muse. Only the PS and HAVE them use the GPU acceleration, if I recall.)

  Have you tried what Tanuj suggested as well? Could be a wobbly plug-in.

  The progress bar makes approximately 1/10th of the way and then CC just hangs.

  Fortunately, I still have CS6 and it works just fine text tool and dandy and all. However, it is all quite frustrating as I pay for CC and this did not happen. As far as I know, all my applications Adobe CC and CC are up-to-date.

  Anyone have ideas on how to hurt from this problem?

  Due to my participation in this forum I tend to launch Photoshop CS5 much and shut down after watching a configuration item or by one or a very small number of things.  Sometimes I start and do many things with it - quite often on large images.  Lately I've been open files with resolutions of oversampled to determine my favorite workflow, given recent changes in Camera Raw.  Sometimes I use the OnOne Software Genuine Fractals plugin, but I'm sure I've seen this happen without doing.

  Occasionally, I could look in my task manager Windows and with Photoshop CS5 12.0.0 and now 12.0.1 I find that after doing this kind of things I do with Photoshop, there are often two or more copies of Photoshop hang out.

  

  It is not much more than an irritation and I can kill these processes, but before that I notice them, they use resources - for example the RAM.  So I have a lot I don't the note usually, but it seems to me like something that should be fixed.

  No other program on my system end up "stuck" don't like that, never.

• App wide system hangs on El Capitan 10.11.2

  OK, I'm sure that I traced the problem back to the day, I installed 11.2. It is on the high-end Macbook Pro 2015.

  This is the issue: about half the time I use Safari, I randomly finds out that, to stop smoking, the app will hang and show the beach ball, forcing me to use force them to leave. Once I do that, however, I won't be able to use Safari, since then, it hangs indefinitely whenever I try to run it again (the new window will be partly responsible, but never end, and the beach ball appears). I'm going to have to at least sign out and then sign back in to start the application again successfully and get rid of the bug.

  It is about half the time, the other half I will get no problem. I tried it followed by a plug-in or extension, but I am now running Safari without all extensions and see the same problem randomly show up half the time I ends the session.

  The biggest problem is that once this happens with Safari, other applications will expose to the weird behavior.

  -My dashboard is able to launch, but all the widgets are frozen and can be moved around, not used.

  -Messages behave exactly like safari (blocking to stop smoking, impossible to revive after)

  -Adobe (Photoshop and Illustrator so far) products will not be able to save the files, although they are able to open & edit recent files. They will not leave successfully (beach ball appears, must force quit).

  I did not experiment with other apps, and I'm not 100% sure it's the fault of Safari. So far:

  -J' uninstalled all extensions and drivers that affect Safari and other applications in the list.

  -J' installed the X.11.2 update on my previous 11.2 discount combo.

  -J' tried to run only Safari without any other open application (once the bug occurs, opening applications will result in the behavior I described above).

  -J' erased my Safari history, that, strangely, gave me two days no problem (probably a coincidence).

  -J' tried to trace the bug occurs after visiting specific sites.

  All this without success. For now, I only 'triggered' the bug using Safari for various periods of time, but there is no way of knowing that I have until I try to quit the application.

  I would like to help in running the diagnostics to find a source of this problem. As I have no idea - ing regarding what is triggering. Thanks in advance.

  Update: Ran Etrecheck and found that force Quits reports are attributed to a blocking of webkit. This would cause the behavior in other applications?

  I was expecting to have to reinstall OS X anyway. Would an installation in the Menu of recovery to reinstall the webkit framework?

  good fishing.  Make half the 3rd party fonts unavailable, then test.  If Ok then add half of the rest.  Maybe try a few different batches until you find the right one.

  Steps to follow:

  Here is the problem.  Curious to see if someone else is having the same problems, or if someone knows anyfixes.

  SSD

  The problem:

  On every 30 sec - 3 min photoshop hangs up.  I don't get a doom beach ball, and OS seems to be quantity.  I can still move the cursor autour in PS, but no changes are made to the image, if I try to make them.  I can not also change the tool to something else (IE brush lasso etc.).

  If I switch to another app (lightroom or bridge etc.) and then switch back to PS it sudenly works again.  Sometimes I'll even see some of the changes I was trying to do before hand (which has not appeared) appear all of a sudden (IE a stroke etc.).  This "correction" seems to work every time.

  It's annoying to have to switch to another application sometimes every 30 seconds so ridicously.  His nuts!  I want to say certainly is not one thing to care!  I thought that maybe something of the graphics card?

  Interestingly, this happens on my co-workers computer, but not as often.

  Thoughts... Help... Hahaha anything?

• Cloud update creative stall

  Every time I have try and update my creative apps cloud update hangs indefinitely at 50%. There is no error message or anything of the sort, but I could leave 'Refresh' app for days and he would never exceed 50%.

  What is strange, is that is applied ' to the majority of applications it does not apply to all the. Illustrator (2015) and Acrobat for example update without problem. The apps that are specifically stall at 50% at the present time are Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Media Encoder CC.

  I'm on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 - 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5, 32 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 (I don't know if it's useful?)

  It comes to my work computer, I pointed out the problem with the it Department who have been unable to understand even after uninstalling and reinstalling, then everything and then gave me a brand new computer where after completing a new installation, the problem persisted. No one else on my team who are also on the Creative Cloud are facing this problem.

  To make things even more confusing, I use the same account of creative cloud on my personal computer at home (also a MAC) and I have no difficulties. Everything works as it should.

  Can anyone help?

• Call "During video initialization" CS6 made video

  I'm on Mac OSX 10.9.5, and I recently had a problem with Photoshop CS6.

  I do the spritework for the games, so I do image animations in Photoshop. I want my animations for a sequence of images, so I'm going to file > export > rendered video to export as a sequence of images.

  This used to work very well, but recently by clicking on "Video made" a message "Video initialization of export", with a progress bar that hangs indefinitely on to midway up. Clicking on Cancel will make the message disappear for a few seconds, and then to come back and freeze again. If I keep clicking Cancel, export options will be finally and I can save it as a sequence of images normally, but this whole process takes about 5 minutes.

  This error occurs on each animation that I try to export, regardless of the size or any other factor, that I can think and even occurs on files that worked well in the past.

  I tried to remove my preferences, uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop, but nothing fixes the error.

  I see some posts around to talk to bugs for this bug in Photoshop CC, but patches do not really apply to CS6.

  How can I get this bug to go?

  Odd. Just like that, the bug disappeared. Restart the program, restart the computer, deleting preferences and resettlement has not fixed the bug, 8 days of waiting yet somehow made. Unless there was some update an adobe program I have not noticed that all fixed.
