  • Installation on new Windows10 Photoshop7 computer with 2 to and 16 GB

I use Photoshop7 for years and I'm comfortable with it. I installed it on all new computers because I get them because I got it and it has always worked well. Now I try on my computer last new, which has Windows 10, 2 TB and 16 GB of Ram, and all I get is an error that says: "Could not initialize Photoshop because the"scratch disks"is full."

I read through many articles, forums, etc. All of them seem to be of the spirit you need to partition your drive hard to make it work. I am not all that computer savvy and don't know, I want to do this (not sure how that impacts my space). In addition, it seems that most of the responses came from questions that came years ago or on different versions of Windows. If I put it out there again. Adobe has created something to solve this problem? Is there a way around it?

I tried to download the trial version Photoshop to online, but for this simple user, this new and improved program is much too complicated (and expensive). I don't want to pay a monthly fee to use it either. I just wanted to be able to use my old version on my new computer. Is there a way?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Slow mouse in Photoshop7

My mouse works slowly in Photoshop7. I have Windows Vista.

I have re-installed Windows Vista + all my programs yesterday. Before the re-installation of the mouse has functioned well. But I remember that during my first installation of Windows (about 2 years ago), I had the same problems with a slow mouse. But I don't remember what I did next to make it work. I tried to change the settings for the mouse, but it does not help.

Do I need to install a service pack for Windows? Or update a driver?

I hope someone can help me.

Yes, you need to install SP! (this is not part of the Conference on Disarmament) and also SP2. SP2 really accelerated and made much more stable Vista. Also Yes, until back your mouse drivers. also you video card drivers. Don't forget to update 7 PS too.

  • large files not opening not in photoshop7

I have problems to open some files, I've worked in photoshop7. Win XP pro sp3 HP dx2250 AMD athlon 64 3800 + 98 MHz, 1.87 GB RAM, 79.4 GB of free space on C:

When I try to open these files, I get a dialog box titled 'New', instead of opening progress bar starts to fill. The dialog box "New" is the correct name of the file size of the image listed as only 452 k, when the file is actually over 2 GB, sizes of Preset set to the default photoshop, 16.02, height 11.99 cm width, size res 72 dpi.

Actual size of the file is 2.2 GB, 96 cm wide x 66 cm high at 300 dpi. By clicking on the ok button of the 'new' opens a layer of white background and not others IE, is to open a new file and not one that I worked on. It happens to both versions of the updated file with the names of separate files (v3 and v4). I opened the original file (v2, which always opens ok)) and enlarge the size of the canvas and conversion of RGB to CMYK. He appeared to save well. This happened yesterday, too, and I thought that I must have not registered properly, so has redone the work and saved again. Now I know that something not although I can't open the saved files. I erased the preferences file, but no change.

Any ideas what is happening and why, please?

    In Photoshop 7 file size limit is 2 GB and 30 000 pixels x 30 000 pixels.

IIRC, it would allow you to save a file as well, but it would be impossible to open it. That is why the new file format, PSB, which is pretty much limitless.

  • Photoshop7 on 10 windows installer

    Hello

Plug-in now a pc on Windows 10 nvx

I can't install photoshop 7, I said that admin rights are ok.

I understand the Forum (in English) that priori Photoshop 7 will not install on a sup a drive 1 TB.

What never mind I bit partition.

there of you it an another tip before launch?

    Hi Philipped47790636,

This is a limitation of the installer provided with Photoshop 7.0, we recommend that you try to do a re-partition your disk 1 terabyte to allow installation.

Photoshop 7 was developed when Windows 98 and Windows XP are the current operating systems.  As an alternative, you can look at Photoshop elements 14.  Photoshop Elements has not only been designed to run under Windows 10 but also has some additional features not available in Photoshop 7.0, see photo editor software & tools | Adobe Photoshop Elements 14.

  • Help! in bulk license photoshop 7.0 with Cs3 upgrade will not work when reinstalling - Adobe support cannot help

I have installed/reinstalled CS3 (upgrade on Photoshop7) a few times since 2007, when I updated my pc - since the first installation, I had to contact their Aussie number 1800 because the Photoshop disc was a version of license in bulk and he didn't like the key when CS3 audited upgrade.  Spent more than an hour today on a chat with Adobe and they will help me more is that they are not trained on PS 7 or CS3.  ANY HELP would be appreciated

If your products are registered with Adobe, they can unlock CS3. It's called a "challenge code".

Apparently, Adobe has a coding challenge system.  So, if you have the old serial number of the upgrade and you call customer service.  The customer support has a challenge code procedure where they give you a code that overrides the problem.  Unfortunately, it took me 5 calls to customer support until I found someone who was able to do.  The keyword is "Challenge Code"

Error "this serial number is not for a product calling it" | CS6, CS5.5, CS5

Important:  We can unlock your serial number after that we first check that you are eligible for the upgrade. When you contact us, be at your computer to complete the following upgrade verification workflow.

    1. Register your product.

    2. Contact us. You will complete the next steps with a staff member.

    3. Do one of the following methods in the screen upgrade serial number :

      • Windows: Press Ctrl+SHIFT and double-click it.
      • Mac OS: Press command+SHIFT and double-click it.

      The Code upgrade window appears.

    4. Read the challenge Code to support staff member.
Enter the support Code (which provides Support Adobe) in the field support Code and then click Next.

  • creating a splash of color to the images

Hi, I'm new to this forum and hope that some light could be made about me. I've been making adjustments with my photos in photoshop7 allowing an image to be desaturated color and then using the history brush tool, sections back to the original color. Unfortunately, now when I try to follow these steps exactly as stated in black and white with a splash of color tutorial presented on the site of photodoto (Ray Davis October 8, 2008), all that happens is that I have to draw a line of orange. Sometimes I do not have even the circle to allow the brush.

I hope you can help me with this problem. I do not understand why it worked for me once and no more.

    Thank you

    Toni

Trying to diagnose your specific problem and try to advise a better way of working are two different things.

A good version of it, like how P.C. above, could remove the need for the first course.  But people do not sometimes like to change the way they work, or just want to know why something is happening.

Toni, that you can not realize is that some operations on your image, for example to change the size of the canvas or cropping, can make your brush history unable to go all the way back to the original document to the color.  I suspect that you did something to the image that causes.

Know you that brush history "anchor" ("image source") can be defined by you in the History palette?  The default value is the original document, open, but you just need to click on the small box to the left of the stage of history to a different stage.  If change you it to a post that is after the disconnection, you will find that you can use it again.

All that being said, I highly recommend you look into the use of layers.  They are the gateway to a whole Kingdom of the new power, you can get from Photoshop.
