my hp photosmart c6180 all in one printer says unable to print low on ink. I installed the new hp ink cartridge. He said the same low on ink, I put another said inside the same hp ink cartridge attempted to restart hard with it pluged into a different outlet. . EMS think low on ink. Now, he threw the code oxc18a0206. If all a means of code and the pens6e love to help Isure would appreacite it.     Thank you steve.

I read your posts on ink cartridge errors that you had and now the error code "0xc" appearing on your Photosmart C6180, and I wanted to answer you.

I would suggest trying a power reset to see if that clears the error. If this isn't the case, please contact HP directly to inquire about a replacement printer or a trade in the printer.

    The Hp Solution Center does not open. When I double click to open it a message indicating "no HP devices have been detected. HP Solution Center will close now. I tried to uninstall the program and then reinstall it with no luck. Nobody has solved this problem?

    Thank you for your concern. I contacted HP through a chat session and received the information below to try to remove and reinstall. Well so far it seems to work. If someone else is having a similar problem, they should at least try this method.

    Here are the steps to manually uninstall.

    (1) unplug the printer from the computer or network.

    2) click on the Windows button on the computer.

    (3) type folder in the box and press ENTER to open it.

    (4) locate and click 7zs2b7.tmp file to open it, if not, check for any file starting with 7z.

    (5) open this folder and then find the Util folder and open it.

    6) double-click the CCC folder to open it.

    (7) double click on Uninstall_L3

    NOTE: For 64-bit, the uninstall file will look like and Uninstall_L3_64 for 32 bit, it will be Uninstall_L3

    Now, restart the computer and reinstall the driver software of all the features by using the link below.

    The document reads "HP Officejet and Photosmart full feature software and drivers.

    I can't print because of the error message following on my all-in-one HP 6180 printer screen:

    Ink system failure.     I met your questions and we have a solution for this and you can try it, but that would apply only on starting with '0xC18A' and not '0xc19a error codes.

    Try the following steps for Photosmart C7280:

    A. - Press and hold the "*" key.

    B. - Press the "#" and release both buttons.

    Display should say "enter special key Combo".

    C. - Press and release in sequence the buttons '1', '2' and '3 '.

    Display should say "Support" and display the FW rev (something like R0631R)

    Press and release the right arrow button until the display shows "Menu of the System Configuration'.

    Press and release the OK"" button.

    Display should say "hardware failure status. If it isn't there already, arrow above for "Hardware failure status"

    Press and release the OK"" button.

    Display should say "hardware failure status: clear." Press OK to erase.

    Press and release the OK"" button. Message becomes "hardware failure (breakdowns) resolved state. Press Cancel to continue.

    Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the 'ink system failure' is displayed. DON'T TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.

    Using the power button, turn the power off and unplug the power cable from the back of the printer output and the wall.

    Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first, and then to the back of the printer

    Switch on the device. The printer may display message "USE POWER BUTTON CLOSING the PRINTER" followed by "Press OK TO CONTINUE". Press OK.

    If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If this isn't the case, the printer will start the "ONE TIME INK initialization PROCESS". Allow this process to do and not to interrupt. Once the initialization is completed, the printer print a Diagnostic page.

    To check, features of the printer print a PAGE of TEST car. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or installation of the software.

    If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.

    Happy Friday! I had a problem the last two weeks with my printer. I usually use the printer on a daily basis for school. I got the impression during 1 1/2 to 2 years and have not had a problem until now.

    Here is a list of what I've tried so far:

    • Aligned the printer
    • Clean print heads
    • Restored by default
    • Erased the vents on the ink cartridges
    • Clean the screens between the printer and the cartridge

    I did all the steps that I could find for troubleshooting on the internet. Is there something else I can do?

    I understand that you are not able to print black ink of your HP Photosmart 6525 e-all-in-one printer. Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you have already finished before reaching out for support.

    Unfortunately, at this stage, because you have already completed, troubleshooting steps listed here, the next step would be a hardware replacement as system within your camera HP Photosmart print head is defective. The print head is the part that the cartridges will fit. It controls the "reading" of the cartridges and put the ink on the page. If the print head is defective in your printer printing system is defective. On this model printer, printhead system is a non-replaceable element.

    I highly recommend to go to the Technical Support queue by phone in order to explore the additional hardware options.

    Password was written in a notebook and notebook is moved at the moment by the cleaning person.

    You can do a reset of the printer using the LED screen on the printer.

    Select Configuration, then Tools, then restore the default settings. "Restore default settings" is the last element of the list and you will have to scroll down to see it.

    Which erases all settings, including the password for the printer.

    My printer do not print and indicates a carriage jam and told me to open the door and a cart clear jam but there is nothing there, and there is no paper jam. I tried to unplug the machine, its restart, restrting my MAC and the message still flashes. Does anyone have any suggestions. I know this is an old printer, but I love it and want to keep it going.     The printhead on the HP Photosmart 6520 is not designed to be removable by the user.  While you can find messages with information on the withdrawal of the printhead for soaking, it's really not recommended.  If you decide to do this don't forget to read the entire thread, these discussions often end with a printer damaged due to damage or damage to the encoder system, electrical connectors which can make the printer unusable.

    You may have already taken the steps of troubleshooting in the paper here, if not go through each of them in order.  Check the vents on the black print cartridge and that it sits correctly.

    If the above does not solve the problem you could try manually to clean the printhead, as described in the post here for a different but similar printer.

    Note that the printer uses a mixture of color and black inks to print a diagnostic page.  This is so that the information can be read even if black or one or more colors do not work.  Although it may seem from this page your black works that is unfortunately not.  You can simulate this by selecting "Photo paper", as the media type in the driver, it would force the printer to use the same color ink to print black text.

    I saw your post on the issue of "print quality" you have little matter where you want to print from your Photosmart C4580.

    I understand that you have already tried several troubleshooting steps however, browse the guide below and if anything that you have not yet tried, try them. The print heads could very well be on their way if do not help the steps. If this is the case, then I would say calling HP support to see about a trade in option for you.
