• My photosmart hp more b210 lost connection for scanning. I can print.

  My B210 worked well for a while, then it will print any more. Finally I tried to check everything reinstalled the software and configure everything again. It now prints but the scanning program cannot find the printer.

  Not a good day. Windows has not been restored. I received a message that a file was blocking it - probably an anti virus file. I have uninstall Bitdefender using their uninstall process. Same thing, so I gave up on it and I tried the scanner with no luck. I think I'll give that as long as we can use another computer, even if it's down the stairs, unless I move the B210. It still prints.

  I'm still waiting for Bitdefender to send me a new access key, so I can reinstall Bitdefender.

  I've taken enough of your time and mine. I'm going to end this now and not spend more time on it. Thanks again for your help, even if nothing has worked. Something has changed on this computer and I can never find.

• HP Photosmart All in a 309g: HP Photosmart 309 g will print but not scan on Win 7 & 10

  I have 2 computers both wireless and the printer listed above. Laptop works under Win 7 and had no problem with Fax & Scan. Office switched to Win10. Both are 64-bit. I also have Culatello my Netgear router and went with the WIFI from my cable provider. Now neither computer will scan! I can print documents from both computers, but no analysis. Having exhausted all possible nonsense that has been offered. I need this feature to work - a small business depends on it. I also need some directions forward straight and easy to understand to achieve! Someone help me please! Thanks in advance.

  Thanks for your promt help-the enjoy. After I posted my question, I have searched and searched the site of HP and dug up any information that could help. By a miracle, I think that I have reinstall the wizard and Dr. Moreover, both computers would be printed on the printer, but wouldn't analyze.

  I ran the programs and bingo, I can now scan on the laptop with Windows 7! When it rains, it pours, I had to get a new adapter for the desktop on the floor when I run Windows 10. Quickly, I plugged and gave it a try. No luck. So I will finalize the adapter and then try the same game plan.

  I have the Photosmart Plus B209a model installed print head is not intended for this printer, or is damaged. Refer to the Doc of the printer. Now, I have done this and cleaned ect. So, assuming that is damaged. I called to get this part and OMG! I might as well buy a new one! $85.00 and I did. My question is can I substitute the information of the printer and use the scan function again?   Thanks for any help!  Michael

  Unfortunately, you can not.  If the printer is in an error state, it locks you out of all the other functions of the printer.  I'm sorry.

Doesn't make sense to me because the ink has absolutely nothing to do with the other functions. Since I bought this all in one I replace ink twice and I only printed about 10 pieces of paper for nine, making these extremely expensive 10 sheets!

  try reseating the cartridges once more & switch off the printer and remove power & other cables connected to the printer & press & hold the power for 20 seconds & then reconnect all cables back & then turn on the pritner & try to use that will solve the problem...

It try to install then a window pops up saying: he cannot locate a file called "MM26_ENU [1] .msi '. I have serached my PC and no such file exisits. Grateful for any help. This is supposed to be an update of important safety for Movie Maker.

  Do you have other accounts of users on this PC?  If you install this update from the main account?

  You should get the number of the update of the updated history list and then download the file here: Microsoft downloads.
  If sure that nothing else is running, and then install the update manually.  Give it a try and let us know the results.

  I did a few test last year, you can print black only master always need color ink for the printer. Black setting only as a default printer will only print black and it consumes a little over heating of the process color inks. In short, it will not be printed correctly when run out of color ink (s) or does not start at all.

• Windows Fax and Scan - what the appropriate use for the concurrent users to save to the network program?

  I'll try to keep this simple - as I already asked this on other forums without the answer. My environment - Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 32-bit client machines. A computer needs to scan patient documents to a network shared by a group of users folder. There will be many people who use this computer even through all day (several shifts - environment 24 hours/7 days).  This is why I need multiple profiles from windows to all save the scan to the SAME network location.

  Currently I am trying to achieve with Windows Fax and Scan and using the ' Scan 'option under 'tools' routing. "  There is a check box (once in this option) for "network location".  I am using this option, but its does not work and that's the whole problem. Its supposed to AUTOMATICALLY record each scan to the specified network location, but it does no such thing. The scan is not registered at all in fact it is just in the interface user of Windows Fax and Scan... double you click it, and then it shows you the image.

  Some information note for helping people answer this question (and any help is appreciated):

  (1) * YES * the network folder, I am trying to record is a valid network folder and * IS * accessible via my network of different devices

  (2) * YES * the user of this journal on the computer with the scanner * ALL * read/write to have rights to this location of the network folder

  (3) * file YES and printing sharing is already active on clients

  If you please if someone either knows how to solve this problem, or at this stage if you can even suggest a different (cheaper the better) application that will scan to a network location please let me know.

  One might think to a disabled feature labeled as "scan routing" and then a field for "network location", it would be simple as plugging in the network folder and checking a box - apparently it isn't.

  You can also check the output of command 'ifconfig - a' when rac services are not running. If you are planning for failover scenarios, it is reasonable.

  Please go to C:\Program Files\hp\photosmart 5520\bin and you'll find scan.exe. Right-click on it, then select send to desktop. You can find the shortcut on your desktop.

  I have Photosmart C309g and everything-each 7510, both connected via wi - fi, using different IP addresses that are not in conflict with other devices on my network.

  I executed the complete installation for both HPs.

  I can print either, but I can scan only using the 7510.

  When I open the HP scan diagnostic, it does recognize that the 7510 - the c309g is not yet listed.

  I noticed only 7510 application record contains a HP scan application and it also recognizes that the 7510.

  There is no application scan c309g folder.  I tried Win 7 Windows Fax and Scan application but that also recognizes as the 7510.

  1. is there a way to configure the system so that it can print and scan from these two Photosmarts?

  2. If the scanning using a 7510 and c309g does not work, could I use a 7510 both a 7520?

  Welcome to the HP forums! I understand that you are unable to scan a document using the Photosmart Premium C309.

  You should have two printers scanning capabilities, because they have a different software. The Photosmart printer using the Solution Center and the Photosmart 7510 uses the Printer Wizard.

  I suggest you uninstall/reinstall the software Photosmart Premium C309. Please follow these steps:

  Please follow this HP document uninstalling the software of the printer.

  Then, perform a clean boot on your computer. I'll give you a Microsoft document on this step here.

  Now, install the full features on the site of HP software here. Choose your operating system that is appropriate; 32-bit or 64-bit.

  Once installation is complete, please click on the document to Microsoft, and "how to reset the computer to start normally after a clean boot."

  Please send me your troubleshooting steps.

  I'm not able to scan from my portable MacBook Air using the HP photosmart camera more 209 printer-scanner a - m. I can print wireless with no problems. I gave up trying to use the HP PhotoSmart studio unit after seeing messages about how it does not work with OS X Yosemite.

  I downloaded the HP Scan (version 4.0.50) and used the week last successfully several times. Now HP scan cannot communicate with the scanner. I get this error message: "communication scanner cannot be established. Photosmart Plus B209a-m is currently unavailable. Make sure that your device is turned on, check the connection and make sure that your network is working properly. If these conditions are correct, restart the device and try to scan the image. »

  I have restarted the printer (and quit and restarted scan HP) and get the same results.

  I have never been able to scan from the printer/scanner by using the "scan to computer" button - it always gives a message saying Start scan of the computer.

  So for the moment I can't understand any kind of scanner. It's not rocket science! What should I try now?

  Well first head in "System Preferences" > "printers & scanners" do a right-click on one of the printers and choose "reset printing system" in order to eliminate anything that might contradict the newer version than we are going to download.
  Then download this driver package (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907?viewlocale=en_US)
  Once it's finished downloading.
  1. reboot your computer
  2. start the installation.
  3. restart the computer.
  After that he will turn on try and add the printer again. (Note: make sure that the driver you are adding is not AirPrint)
