  Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.  I see that you are unable to install web services on your printer Photosmart 5515.

  When you try to set the DNS servers to Google Public DNS servers, so you set a static IP address first?    If this isn't the case, please set an IP address manually before the configuration of DNS servers manually.

• Photosmart 5515 & Windows 8

  Have a friend with a new computer HP laptop + windows 8.  Managed to point to his HP 5515 printer and a pilot of"basic" installed and sucessfully printed a test page.  When I look at the instructions to use the scanner (for HP help pages), it reads as a bit of a joke, if I'm honest (unless I'm missing something).

  If someone managed to get the Windows 7 driver package works with Win8? (I tried the cd, but it came as non-compatible).

  My other question (with the help of HP), will be this printer never supported with a pilot full windows 8 & utilities, or it is better off getting a new printer (HP probably not another).

  Please go on the HP Forums. I would love to assist you with the printing error that you see when you try to print.

  When you say that you have used the troubleshooter and it says no errors, are you referring to the printing and scanning (PSDR) doctor? Otherwise please download charge and run the PSDR > www.hp.com/go/tools.

  Your printer may require a hard reset to fix the problem / please let the printer and unplug the power cable, according to a record minute the printer back and try printing again.

  Printer was working last night.  Today, I tried to print and nothing happens.  There is a queue of impression since yesterday that I can't remove.  It says it is deleting, but nothing will not go away.  turned the printer to zero.  Wireless is on and working.  Thank you.

  From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

  Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

  I went through several iterations recover my usb drivers and working properly. The last problem seems to be with the printer driver. I have just turned the printer off, removed the two printers from the list of devices and printers, and back in the printer market. The drivers once again and the printer "shadow" is back.

  I tried printing HP and doctor scan, and it is a photosmart 5515 says he was not installed. And there does appear to be a way to remove it from its list of HP devices.

  Follow the steps below to perform pprinting Duplex of Office for Mac:

  1. On the file menu, select print. The print window is displayed.
     NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click the blue triangle next to the product model (Mac OS X 10.6) or the view details button (10.7) see all available parameters. To select the connection type click the lowest selection box - Copies & Pages.
  2. Select from the drop-down.
  3. Set the duplex option as liaison Long Edge (Portrait) or binding Long Edge (landscape).

  You can save the settings for later use by clicking predefined settings > Save settings as a preset.

  HP photosmart 5515 do print not black, but is printed colors (cyan blue yellow). Printer shows full inks on all colors.
