  No, you can't. You need to analyze as searchable text and your photosmart 6520 does not have OCR software (when you bought this printer) in support. You can buy an OCR software.

  I installed the software of the printer Photosmart 6520 without error during installation. When I double click the icon of HP Photosmart 6520 series on my desktop to run the 'printer' Wizard nothing happens. Other than the printer works very well. I'm running Windows XP, one a computer HP Pavilion 7360. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times from the CD supplied and downloaded also from the HP site with the same results.  I was wondering if this works with Windows XP?  I have loaded the software on my laptop HP G71-340 under Windows 7 Home Premium and the "printer" Wizard works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

• Photosmart 6520: Photosmart 6520 Print Null Imiging update fails to install

  Update Windows 10 every day shows that the HP Photosmart 6520 Imiging Null print update could not be installed.  My printer works fine, I have uninstalled and installed the current driver, when I have the printer check updates, it says that the program is updated.

  Is that what I can do to stop the daily message installation failed in Windows Update?

  Thanks - I've downloaded the Windows 10 "show or hide updates.  Ran and he admitted to select updates, I want to hide.  I did, he ran again and updates from HP problem now presented as an update hidden.

  The ink cartridges are 56, 57, 58 and 59. If I can't find an installation disc, it may be interesting to my buying a printer that uses these cartridges. How would you like to know which printers are available that use these cartridges?

• Photosmart 6520: printer print color wrong

  My printer frequently active in the middle of the night. I guess that those who are updated to HP. The problem is that there wasn't something wrong with the printer and after several nights of updates, is no longer print color correctly. Nothing wrong in the diagnosis I can say. New HP ink.   I see that you have some problems with color printing.

  I have some suggestions that we can try.

  First of all, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

  I have also found a document that addresses when the printer prints blank Page or fact not printing black or color ink for the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage and 6520 Photosmart e-all-in-one printer series.

  Whne photo print from the computer to film photo in my printer 6520, how you designate photo small jets to print the list of pictures of you?   I do not understand how making the connection between the computer and the printer to the printer prints the photo. In other words, how is the printer knows what image to print without some sort of a signal from the computer?

  Did you install software and drivers on the CD supplied with your printer to your computer? If so, you can select a photo/image, and print, BUT if you want a nicer look, you can use software HP Photo Creations for print. This software should be on the CD or you can download it from the following link:

  Looks like the scan drivers may not have been installed correctly. Please, try the steps in this document to see if it helps. Skip step 3, because it is the different software for your model. Let me know the results of step 5.

  HP printers - a Communication or connection error is displayed when scanning.

  In the workarounds section scan, try these applications to see what results you have.

  If the driver is installed correctly, you should be able to use the Capture and scanning HP.

  I'm more able to print a normal size postage label. I used to and now suddenly it prints so small that there is no way a factor could read them. Any ideas?

• Photosmart 6520: Printer only printing partial photo

  Some of my photos Print OK on paper HP Advanced, but in some cases (well, one in particular) that part of the image is printed.  The amount of the picture that prints varies each time, but in all cases, the document presented by the photo tray is followed by a bunch of jumbled nonsense that prints on plain A4 paper.  You can see in the attached picture.

  I don't know if it's of any relevance, but I edited this particular image in Photoshop elements 13.

  How is the printer connected?  The problem you are experiencing seems to be a problem of communication between the computer and the printer.  If the printer is connected by a wireless LAN in the here document troubleshooting steps can help.  Print HP and the doctor http://www.hp.com/go/tools Scan may also help to identify interference problems.

  The fact that the problem occur at different places on the sons of page believe me it not related to the image or how it was edited.  It might be interesting to save the image to a memory card and that plug directly into the printer and try to print from there.

  Attempt to analysis I get the message that the scanner cannot communicate with the computer. I found a 'solution' of Provost. followed the instructions, i.e. cleaned-uninstalled, downloaded the recommended download, but when I tried to install it I get the message: this volume does not meet the requirements for this update. So now I find myself with a softwareless and so unusable printer. Help, please. OS is Snow Leopard 10.6.8

  Welcome to the HP Forums. I understand your printer is not printing black ink, and I would like to help. Please start with the procedure described in the following document; Printer prints a blank Page or do not print black or color ink for the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage year...

  If you have performed all the steps in the document above and the problem persists, not one of HPs, my personal recommendation is to use the solution put forward in the next video.  I suggest you only do this if the printer is out of warranty; How to fix an HP, not for printing black ink and lack of color printer

  In view of the comments, it seems that this will help you

  Even if the printer is maybe more under warranty, if the problem persists, HP may be able to offer something. Perhaps, they may offer you a discount on another model. What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

  Step 1. Open the link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
  Step 2. Enter the product number or select Auto detection
  Step 3. Scroll up to "still need help? Fill out the form to select your contact options.
  Step 4. Scroll down and click on: contact HP options - click Get phone number

  File number and phone number are displayed.

  Since you just bought the printer you need to know, HP printers usually have a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase, you can check the warranty using the following if you wish; Guarantee cheque.

• Photosmart 6520 prints a page of stats

  When one print a Microsoft page (Word or Excel), the printer prints an extra page to give me the name of the file and the statistics on this subject.   HP has tried to help him but it only prints with Microsoft pages.  It does same when I select only 1 page in the print dialoge box.  How can I prevent this page from printing?

  In the same print dialog box, using the same dropdown menu, choose Microsoft Word, then Word Options...

  Uncheck the 'Document properties'.
