Photosmart 7510: Access to the separate wifi network printer

I have 2 wifi networks, for the expansion of the range in my house; We built my router (Fios) fios and others (Asus) connected to the same router via ethernet.  My printer is connected to the wifi Fios network.  When I'm at the back of the House, I connect my laptop to the Asus wifi network but am unable to connect to the printer.  Is there a way to make the printer visible on both networks?

Hi @lsrothstein,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see you're wondering if you can access the printer HP Photosmart 7510 of several networks at once. I'm happy to answer that question for you!

The printer is designed to work only on wireless at the same time. So to be able to print to the printer, the cell phone/mobile device must be connected to the same wireless network to which the printer is connected to. think of it as an invisible cable from the computer to the router, to the printer.

This website, HP Wireless Printing Center - basics wireless, goes into great detail, if you are interested.

Hope that answers your question and have a great day!

  • Helps the open WIFI network connection

    Hello

I have a new dash of Sony that I connect to my wifi to work. The network itself is open, however once your device is connected to WIFI, once you open a browser window on your computer/Tablet/phone is where it asks you your work credentials (name of user/pass). Once you submit you can go anywhere. I've seen this at other places with band wifi open, but you must accept the terms and conditions of the first time you open a browser window. Does anyone know how after you connect to the wifi network I would be able to enter my credentials on the dashboard? Since it is not exactly a web browser I know.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Credentials of the user to connect to the Wi - Fi network can be entered into the dash unit.

  • Connected by USB PS 7510: access to the memory card?

For the past year, I had my PS 7510 connected wireless to my home LAN. The memory card appears on my computer (Mac OS X) in my list of devices, and I could access the images that I had scanned it. Changes of houshold allowed me to change my setup and I chose to disable the wireless function and use the USB to connect to the printer. All functions work well, though the memory card is not visible or accessible from any of my applications. Access to the computer is the card memory limited to wireless connectivity? Best regards, Brian

    Thanks for your effort.

I had already applied the way you suggested in your last post, but I've been through once again, deleting and adding the printer. No immediate joy. Then I took a look at the data in the system and I was wondering why I couldn't see even the card on the printer on the USB port. I was wondering, ad did what I should have done from the outset - I removed the card and reinserted and then he appearred in my list of device as you wish. I feel a little stupid for not having done this before.

Once again, thank you for the effort and support. I'll look to mark the post as solved.

  • Photosmart 7510 setup for the France

    Hi all

I bought a few months ago an all in one photosmart printer 7510 in the USA.

I'm back in France for a few months, and I had to change the computer last week... and surprise... I can find the print for the 7510 cartridges in detail... but it seems there is a zoning configuration and I can't use a french :-(print cartridges

I heard there is a configuration change.

Is someone can help me change this configuration?

    Thanks in advance

Contact HP support to allow a representative of HP talk you through the changes required for a change of region.

    Contact support HP in France

This will allow your printer to accept cartridges purchased in another region in which it was purchased. You will need to perform the same procedure with a representative when you retuirn to the States and the purachse of new cartridges. Free changes of the region for your printer.

  • Photosmart 7510: turn on the scanner only

I scan more print and want to turn on my scanner without initializing the printer function (and therefore waste). can I do this?

The printer functions are initialized when the 7510 is turned on, you cannot switch on the scanner separately.

I suggest that you keep the printer plugged directly into a socket slot - if you use an external switch as a switch taken out of ink will be used when the printer is on.

The Photosmart 7510 enters a low power standby state, you might consider leaving the printer 'on' and leave the management of the ADF to take care of things.  The Photosmart 7510 is Energy Star rated.

  • TCP/udp connection via the private wifi network

I want to develop applications using the wireless private network with tcp/udp connection for my Blackberry 8320 (Version 4.2.2.180 without SIM), do I need authorisation from RIM so that they work in the unit? If it is true, how can I get permission?

    I noticed http://www.blackberryforums.com/wifi-hotzone/100800-8320-wi-fi-limited.html

    who says:

"The Blackberry 8320 with wi - fi connection is limited. The only program that can use the wi - fi is the Blackberry browser... all the third-party programs... ie. Opera Mini, JiveTalk and even RIM's instant messaging programs. Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, are all designed to connect using data from EDGE of the phone... None of them can detect or use the wi - fi! »

    If it is true now?

You can use the interface = wifi parameter in the URL to specify that the connection should be performed by Wi - Fi.  However, please note that this setting is available in version 4.5.0 and highest BlackBerry device software.  Therefore, you must first put your BlackBerry handheld.  FURTER details can be found here:

  • Windows 7 does not connect to the new wifi networks

I have a problem with connecting to wifi networks. My laptop only connect to wifi networks that I have already connected to in the past but does not connect to all nine. The computer will recognize the but won't give me the possibility to type in any password. For example, I can connect correctly to the House and my moms place as wifi passwords are already saved on my computer. However if I go to a friends house their wifi signal will appear but when I go to connect I will not have to enter a password, the mouse cursor will simply show it to load a few seconds and then nothing happens.

    Can someone help me?

    Hello James,.

Thanks for posting your question on the forum of the Microsoft community.

  • HP photosmart 7510: alignment of the paper. When I print to my 7510 always prints too far to the right.

When I print to my Hp photosmart, 7510, wheter be photos via AirPrint on. My IPhone or the Documentation of an environment of windows 7, or Mac os X or even my old windows xP it always prints too far to the right on the paper. This result s in all the text is visible. For photos of the result, is a white edge on the photo and cut off.

I read manual and I have confidential amputeret that the paper is correctly placed. Else all works well, AirPrint and all absolutely no problem. updated to the last companies

BECN, I saw this problem caused if ever there was a paper jam and something has filed in the mechanics of the printer. Here is a video on how to check for this:

Also, just to see if it is more than hardware/software partners, can you make a copy of the scanner and tell me how it turns out?

  • HP photosmart 7510-e & mac does not connect to print;

Recently successfully installed HP photosmart 7510-e all in one printer on wireless home safe and functional very well. Today press & won't print. Printed from the other laptop, but not mine. performed tests & said my Macbook pro says unknown device wireless. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall or another problem? Thank you.

Thanks for the quick reply PrintDoc.

I tried what you suggested, nothing works.  However, I noticed when scrolling down to the network default reset is there a way to manually assign an IP address.

It took a lot of play, but ultimately, what worked was.

    1. Reset default network settings
    2. Manually set the IP address and the address of the DHCP server (DHCP address was wrong)
    3. Reserve the IP address of the router (so it's not assign this address to another device)
    4. Run the Wireless Setup Wizard

    I'm running now.

    Thank you!

  • 5520 Photosmart, Laserjet 252dw: copy with separate scanner and printer

I have a Photosmart all-in-one Scanner/printer and a new printer Laserjet. I am very satisfied (also pictured) quality of the laser printer, but I didn't buy an all-in-one again. So my question is, if it is somehow possible to copy of the Photosmart directly to the Laserjet Printer?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @egau,

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

I understand that you have a HP Photosmart e-all-in-one 5520, printer and a printer HP Color LaserJet Pro M252 and want to send copies of the 5520 directly to the Laserjet Printer. I would like to help with that.

There is no way to copy directly from the 5520 to the Laserjet Printer because they have no way to communicate with each other. What you need to do is scan the 5520 to your computer, and then send the scanned file to print the Laserjet Printer.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

In fact, if it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

    Thank you!

  • Photosmart 7520: How disable the cartridge on my printer HP 7520 protection

    Hello

I would like to know how to disable the protection of the cartridge on my printer HP 7520

    Thank you

    Hello sandkeyfred,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you want to remove Protection of the cartridge"of the printer.

This can not be removed.  It is in place to ensure that the cartridges do not run out and cause problems with the ink delivery system.  Here is a link that explains the use of ink in inkjet printers.

  • Access to the Marina wifi problems

I live in a marina and use the wifi from the marina.  My iMac (2008, equipped with internal wifi) is low in the boat (galley down), which is fiberglass, but has wires and other equipment in the world.  When it is docked (that's all I'm concerned about here), not a large part of the equipment works except appliances regular and battery 12v and 32v "offers/Chargers"  I borrowed a Belkin range extender (1106v1 F9K), which helps, but not enough.  It is an inner ring road and the line of sight to the antenna of marina (150 feet) and (less so) to my computer are not good.  I have examined) 1 antenna USB iMac (--> Belkin?), 2) hacking a router not used the Belkin (cable?), 3) installation of a wifi antenna ($$) on my arch of radar which would have good line-of-sight and might, without effort, wired ($) directly to the computer or to an access point (terminology?)  (?$).  Next gen electronics marine start using some wifi and if this last combo would allow this traffic, it is worth the investment.  There are other options for example. existing antenna (VHF?), beach (?) radome, beach dome (?) satellite.  Here, the "old salts" around know the antenna, but not computers.  I do not know! (But difficult).  There are many other wifi signals locked appear on my computer.  I am a small time internet user but considers Netflicks marina limit myself to only basic cable!

You aren't going to get the bandwidth for netflix on any shared... wireless system, so it's out of the question... you will need to hold for release into the atmosphere of TV or your collection of DVD/bluray.

Directional antennas are the key to this... WiFi is more powerful because the problem is receiving does not transmit.

And you need to get a direct line of sight to the wifi everywhere where it is setup in the Marina... because it is not possible to get the signal through some big boats steel nice... your fiberglass is very well... unless he has mixed in freezing metal. In any case on a boat to mount the antenna as high as you can... and the router with it... so you can connect to it by ethernet would be the best... Although you can use wifi if you wish, messy but possible.

  • Photosmart 7520: Access to the software Scan Photosmart 7520 disappeared when installing Windows 10.

I went through the procedure of doctor scan and installed the updated software.  Poster proceedings finally the familiar screen send me three options; I chose scan option and it worked perfectly.  My problem is the office at current address printer icon does not find these options, instead it addresses the single ability to USB printer or internet installation.

How to place an icon for scaning or restore old icon printer options? Where is the scan feature triger?  TIA

After reading the solutions Win 8.1 for lack of tune, I searched C:/.../Program Files(x86)/HP/HP Photosmart 7520 series/bin/for one tune and HPSan.exe found.  I made an icon of office for this program and I seem to have the same access that I lost.  It works!

  • Is Edge inspect the desktop to the internet connection sharing (for example, VPN) or just the same WIFI network?

I'm asking because on my work VPN all our screening sites are behind the firewall and so curious if my android device running the Dashboard Viewer inspect also share this VPN connection or if the cutting-edge office essentially comes the camera to a normal URL? The unit doesn't have native VPN access.

I am unable to test this, because our company blocks all Chrome extensions, and before I go through a long process to unlock this particular extension I just want to see if it would work I described.

    Thank you!

Inspect edge relies on your local network for communication. Many VPN services will seal your machine connected to your local network when the VPN tunnel is open. Inspect edge does not work in this situation. Ask your VPN administrator to determine if there are parameters that will allow you to access your local network when connected to the VPN. Yes, the desktop application pointing devices to the url and the url must be accessible by the network device is connected to.

In addition, Port 7682 is required by Edge inspect. If another application or service is using this port, you must reconfigure either to use a different port or close Edge to inspect work.

  • Slow access to the virtual machine network (Windows 2008 Server 64-bit) Windows 7.

    Hello.

I have a problem when you access files shared on a Windows 2008 Server 64 bits on a client computer to Windows 7. It takes a long time (up to a few minutes) to for example open a Word file from the network share. It is not always, but quite often.

This also happens on two different servers client with almost the same equipment. Which is a basic IBM x 3400 with hard drives in RAID. I disabled the feature of unloading TCP/IP on the network inside the VM card.

Someone has an answer for this? Have I missed something, a configuration perhaps? I'm totally lost here...

    Kind regards
