  I have a problem with my HP 6280 All in One Printer. There are a few problems and it's really annoying, I wonder if anyone can prove useful please?

  I uninstalled the software and drivers for the Photosmart series C6200 of the site, and when re installation, the software starts uninstalling itself and gives the following message:

  "Error - wstub 197370'

  "Fatal error during Installation"

  And then starts to uninstall the entire software package and then request to restart to uninstall complete.

  Once restarted, the whole scenario goes in a loop that is the uninstall process? Very confusing indeed and have never experienced this kind of problem before!

  I'll try to uninstall the software and printer drivers. Click here if you need help with uninstalling.

  Then I would erase the temp directory.

  1. tap folder in the field "search programs and files".

  2 Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove.

  Once removed to close all windows and restart the computer.

  When the computer restarts, download and install the latest version of the software and the printer drivers.

  Where can I download the Photoshop (CS4) for Macintosh plugin twain for hp Photosmart C6280 all-in-One, so I can scan from Photoshop?

  The HP software only provid ICA interface support (purchase of Apple's Image Capture) which is the native OS X interface.

  TWAIN interface is no longer available for OS X, which means that you will not be able to scan from Photoshop from Adobe directly because it doesn't support the TWAIN module.

  You have to parse through Capture of Image, then you can open the files analyzed on Photoshop.

  My all-in-one software has already been installed successfully years ago. My husband did not know that he had to go through the "devices and printers" in the "Start" menu to access the analysis feature, so he assumed that scanning capabilities were not working. He tried to install the software from the internet, and it gave an error. Now, I can not completely cancel the installation process.   It seems that the installation is trying to update the old version to the new version but is a failure.  I suggest that you restart the computer, then uninstall the driver, old and new.

  In December 2011, I bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600 all-in-One to replace an Officejet 6500 as my network printer home. The 6500 worked very well on my cable, but his screen did not, I tried some of the features offered by the 8600 and I got a good price on a new warehouse of BJ. I have the 8600 connected via ethernet (not wireless), with a static IP address. All my computers on the network are running Windows XP Pro SP3 and are up-to-date with Microsoft updates.   After a lot of research and find the settings that I did not know that Windows XP offered, I found that the following appear to have solved the problem I've known - at least the printer is now operational for more than 48 hours without losing printing or scan connection. Here are the steps I used:

  1. Start Control Panel  connections network and Internet

  2. Choose "network connections."

  3. Right click on "connect to the Local network.

  4. Choose "Properties".

  5. In the top window is the name of the Ethernet computer connection port, select "Configure" next to this window

  6. Select the tab labeled 'Power Management'

  7. Uncheck the box "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

  8. Select the "Advanced" tab

  9. Select the entry "power saving Mode".

  10. If this entry is set to change 'On' to 'Off '.

  11. Select 'OK', and then close the windows that were opened

  I was given a HP Photosmart C6280 printer, but the person do not have the disc that came with it to install the driver. I am reluctant technologically and have no idea what to do. Can someone please tell me where to find a driver for this printer and how to install it? I tried to use a driver on some other sites, but they want a credit card, and quite frankly, I don't trust them.

  Thanks for your help.  HP print and Scan Doctor made a test print OK, but not the other, he advised me to uninstall and reinstall the software.  I uninstalled and then reused HP print and Scan doctor - he told me I didn't have the latest version of the software and allowed me to download and install it, I did (after a lot of problems with my connection broadband 295 MB download).  Run HP print and Scan Doctor - everything is OK.  I tried to print (from MS Word) and personalization, no message about duplex.  Hooray!

  I can't open the HP Solution Center to scan. When I try to open it I get a notification that all software is not installed. I ran Dr. scanning HP and all software installation downloaded and ran. Every thing is installed. Tried to open it to new and same result.

  Help! I had to have my i drive hard mac replaced. I reinstalled my printer 5 times now and the scanner does not work. After the installation of the 2nd, he did scan...   OK, you don't need the HP software with 10.6.  In fact, if you have loaded it from the CD that is the problem (this is for 10.5 and earlier only).  We will do this:

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Now run a software update.

  Then, remove and reinstall the printer in System Preferences, Print & Fax.

  You do not have the software now since Snow Leopard as well print & scan drivers built-in. scan from Preview apps or Image Capture. Scan from the front panel of the printer does not work yet.

  I understand that you have tried to uninstall and reinstall already. But I have the feeling that everything is installed properly.

  Please, try the steps in the following order:

  • Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.

  • Unplug the printer USB cable. (Only if connected by USB).

  • Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.

  • Disable all Antivirus programs. Disable Antivirus software.

  • Disable all firewall programs. The WF of end-to-end.

  • Create a new user account. Management of user accounts and connections (Windows 10).

  • Reinstall using the printer HP install wizard for Windows. (Wait for the software to tell you to plug in the USB printer cable. If connected by USB).

  Hi again. I'm the one who had the imac, the new hard drive and had to uninstall drivers from the HP disk because the snow leopard's own drivers. I have to scan using system preferences now, and the menu on the printer cannot be used now. It was a couple of days.

  First of all, you should be able to scan from applications overview or Capture images.  If this isn't the case, we'll work on that, too.  The scan from the printer button does not yet work with Snow Leopard.

  You can select the small photo among the pull-down tray in the print dialog box.  Start a print job (file, print or Cmd - P).  There should be a lot of options and a overview of printing.  If these are not present, click the triangle next to the name of the printer on this window.  You'll just have to click around to find the photo tray.  I don't know exactly what menu it's in.

  Finally able to install the drivers for this printer work under Windows 8.1 (using Vista on my old machine). Not all features work - namely, the duplex function.  I can't force him to print automatic double-sided; I keep getting invited to insert the pages on the other side. Never had to do before.

  Thanks for your efforts to clear up my problem with the printer. Your last suggestion did not work well, as I have lst most of the functionality of the printer. Because of the problem with some software from Asus, I was forced to do a Refresh of system restored my laptop to a point prior to downloading the software of the printer. I downloaded the software, and with a few outside fiddling when I print, scan, etc. that I can usually get some features I used to have.
