  I've done other snooping today & found out you can't get the full HP PhotoSmart downlooad.  Am went on YouTube & got instructions to go on apps & getting scanner Windows or HP.  Problem solved.  Thanks to all who read my question.

• HP Photosmart Software Suite from hpqdirec.exe not Solution Center

  recently installed the HP Photosmart Software Suite on my Officejet 4215xi all-in-one sisters.  Everything seemed to go well, except that when I open you'd think is supposed to be the center of Solution instead it tries to start hpqdirec.exe.  And we get a message that hpqdirec.exe is not found.

  The Director is associated with following printer provided with the printer.  In my view, replace the Director in the following Photosmart Solution Center.

  His machine is very old & literally, it takes hours to install this software.  I'd rather not have to run the uninstall utility, remove the HP software & all over again.

  Is there a way to get the application to point to the executable file of the center of solutions instead of hpqdirec.exe without uninstalling & reinstalling the suite?

  Unfortunately, it seems that you have an incomplete installation.

  Try using the brush included in the CD or download.

  Of the Original installation CD:

  1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

  2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open

  3 open the Util folder

  4 open the CCC folder

  5. run the L4uninstall.exe or .bat

  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

  8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  9 download drivers and full software features

  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

• Was Director HP XP Patch released on 2007-02-13 included in 2009 HP Photosmart Software Suite Upgrade?

  I'm running an all in one HP PSC 2410 (since 2003) with Windows XP SP 3, current Firefox & IE8. My HP Director stopped opening after I upgraded from IE 6 to IE8 it several months ago. While looking for help on HP, I came across a patch drivers XP 2007 for this problem on the page, but since it was listed in the same group as a 2009 driver + Full Feature Software Upgrade, I have assumed that the HP Director XP patch will also be included.  Ridicule me.  I just download & install this driver package + Full Feature 2009 yesterday & everything works except for the HP Director.  It is correctly listed under properties as with Traoré installed yesterday, but no matter where I try to click to open, no window is displayed.

  So my question is... if I download this patch from HP Director HP 2007 in the package 2009 HP that I installed yesterday, will they beautifully play togther & restore window of my Director?

  Simply run and install the patch, it is newer than following HP Director.

  The pilot can be labeled in 2009 due to re - download, etc, but the software is older than that... the patch should probably solve the problem.

  I have 2 HP printer: HP C3180 and HP6520.

  Currently on my laptop, nothing of this printers are configured, because I use to print on the C3180 that is configured on another office in my home Lan (3 pc..) page.

  Now, I'm going to upgrade my laptop for windows 10 and want to configure two printer in this laptop and use the function wirell of the HP 6520.

  The HP 6520 should be the favorite.

  I have download Software Suite from HP in the area of driver HP for the two printer under W10 O.S.:

  -HP C3180 Suite (approx. 260 MB)

  -HP 6520 Suite (about 70 MB..).

  I would like the suite Solution Center...

  Now my question is:

  to avoid the error and sw, what to install and in what order?

  A PC can have two USB connection AND installed wireless. However, when you print, you can choose whether it's USB connection or wireless that you print on.

  As to whether the AWC is on the CD or not, it's a big question. It depends on if the 6250 HP came out on the market BEFORE or AFTER Windows 10.

  Therefore, to be sure, better download software feature win 10 FULL of HP.com

• where can I get accompanying scanjet G4050 photosmart software

  I bought my scanjet when I had XP to scan slides and it worked very well.

  Have not used in a few years. Now, I've upgraded to windows 7 (64) and I have several slides to be scanned.

  The scanner is not recognized by hp or scanvue (I used both a couple of years) even when I downloaded a new driver for windows 7.

  When I plug the scanner in, the computer says it recognizes, and windows is satisfied with the order, but not only!

  I tried to unplug power source disconnected and reconnected a half hour later. I tried all usb ports. I tried the scanvue software, but I guess that this machine is no longer compatible. I tried to restart the computer...

  I tried to uninstall and then install driver for this scanner for Windows 7 hp.  No recognition. No software.

  I can't find my original installation disk

  I can't find the photosmart software on my computer.

  Try to reinstall the full features software once again, but only after you have uninstalled the software/driver corrupt first and ScanVue.

  Install Revo Uninstaller (free version) and run the program in Advanced Mode to find any left over files in the registry.

  Clean all Revo concludes in the search.

  Manually search for folders/files rest for scanner HP in the AppData folder (in Windows Explorer, go to view options and check the box show hidden files to activate the folder AppData be seen).

  Go to the folder programs and find a HP folder to scan and delete

  For VueScan, also.

  Now redownload them and reinstall this software complete features again. Follow the prompts during the installation.

  Let me know how that turns out.

  I tried to install the driver/software from the website package, but I still get it.

  In the form of an error box above the install so that it's on control systems.

  I found no way around this, how ever, the drivers work with plug-and-play, but I need the software that came with it also.

  I was unable to locate a download for JUST the software suite and not drivers.

  It's a delicate issue, but I have a few more suggestions for us.

  Let try to launch a scrubber from the HP software that you have already installed, to remove what is already on your computer from previous attempts to install. Then we will try to re-installation using HP printer Installation Wizard.

  1. First of all, we will restart the computer.
  2. Once it starts up, press and hold the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the Run dialog box.
  3. Type folder in the Run dialog box, and then press ENTER. The Temp folder opens.
  4. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
  5. Download a new version of the software and choose Save as, save to desktop > series all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet F4200/F4224 full functionality of software and the driver
  6. After downloading software and extracts, open the temp folder again (you can use the instructions in step 1)
  7. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
  8. Open the Util folder
  9. The CCC folder
  10. If you have a computer HP run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer no HP run the L4uninstall.exe, however, it will remove all THE HP software, including other installed printers.
  11. Restart the computer to complete the uninstall.
  12. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.

  We have just received a custom send EliteOne 800 all-in-One computers. In normal situations, we have simply to wipe the hard drive and install our own operating system on computers. However, these computers have a hardware-level encryption of BIOS which is managed by the HP customer Security Manager software suite.

  Anyone (be it HP or a knowledgeable end user) gives me a link to the complete suite of security software for the HP customer? It includes applications such as:

  For Windows 7, the frivers were already included in Windows, and there is therefore no software to remove.

  In the control panel select devices and sweepers,

  PSC 2410 icon right-click and select remove device, then you should be good to go and install your new printer.

  Thanks for the update.  I'm sorry to hear that you have been hospitalized and hope everything goes well!

  The line occurs only in photos, Picasa print?  Have you tried to print a picture from another location such as the Windows Photo Gallery?

  It is possible that this problem is caused by a problem between the Picasa and the drivers of the printer.  Try to use another driver like the Deskjet 990c or driver Deskjet 9800.  For more information on how to use another driver, please click here.

  Extract the exe file in a folder using 7zip

  Then delete usbready.exe

  And run setup.exe

  I had this exact error and solved with these exact steps on a new installation of windows with asus motherboard with all the usb ports on work.

  For some reason any the usbready.exe is just trash in some installations and does not correctly detect the usb ports.

  Edit: You can also follow these steps if you do not want / can not install 7zip

  From Windows Explorer type folder in the address bar and press ENTER.

  Locate and open the most recent HP installation folder, which begins with 7z (e.g. 7z1234a).

  Open the installation folder.

  Locate the file named usbready.exe, rename it to usbready1.exe or delete it.

  Go back up a level and start the Setup.exe program.

  Now follow the installation and check the differences.
