Photosmart C7280: lost plateau app.msi blocks uninstall/reinstall

My HP Photosmart C7280 "disappears" every 6 months. Software HP seems unstable.

Once again I've had to download/reinstall features comprehensive software Photosmart PS A10 02 so that the printer works correctly.

Installation, however, gets stuck. Lac App.msi (7ZS752A) seems to be damaged and lost.

(Windows install guard arise at first upward, saying the same thing, make my day a disaster)

Community of HP advises to uninstall/reinstall the full features of PS A10 02 software.

However, the HP software is BLOCKED, and Windows do not uninstall HP "all-in-one" program components.

Catch 22. The plateau of App.msi is killing me, I can't get the Photosmart software uninstalled/installed properly.

I tried Microsoft 'FixIT' repair process. The HP software, however, remains closed.

I hate the idea of long reinstall Windows to get sorted HP software...

If someone could help?

Is it possible to uninstall this software safely and/or import/repair the 7ZS752A Tray App?

Your advisor and assistand make my day.

Some of the folders should meet as long as those who are full...

If you can't find such a, delete any file in the folder %Temp%, those are all deleted temporary files and CAMRA.

Run the installer for your printer, once more, we will create a new folder of 7z, that one must include sucha Trayapp.msi file in its installation folder.

while selecting Uninstall or repair, you will have to search for the file, navigate to the current 7z folder, if it may require specific folder path, you can simply rename the name of the current folder in 7zs752A and then repeat the same.

In Vista, it worked fine, but not in my new w7 64 bit PC.  I used the cd of driver win 7 you sent and

the results were the same when I downloaded it. No automatic duplex printing options given. Only manual.

How can I get this feature back?

    Hello

Its possible that the duplex is not enabled in windows 7 and you will have to activate it manually. GO to the control panel configuration, printers and devices, and right click on your printer icon. Choose 'Printer properties' on the menu drop down and go to the tab "Device settings" check if the duplex unit is installed behind it and if not set it to installed and click on apply. This should enable the duplex, if it doesn't work immediately, restart your computer.

  • Photosmart C7280: Photosmart C7280 disappears don't reinstall due to lack of HPZPRL40

8 days ago, I tried to use the HP Solution Center to scan from my Photosmart C7280.  Solution Center could not say that the device has not been correctly in place and re - install.

I tried a reinstall that failed due to a lack of HPZPRL40 (of course it was not obvious that the dialog box with the error was empty).

The search of the forums I have uninstall leared to use level 4 in the Util/CCC of the downloaded/extract package directory.

It worked!  Until a MS Security update has been applied this week and then the printer had disappeared again.  Now, despite the uninstallation of level 4 running, run SFC (and fix the mistakes of the), and reinstall, 3 - 4 times, always the installation did not finish.  I can add the device like a printer, but I really need the scanning functions.

There must be a way to solve this problem which is not "reformat your hard drive.  Help!

  • Can not uninstall/reinstall iTunes because of the missing file iTunes6464.msi

Recently the resources have been insufficient in my C drive. The it guy in my office found because I had 3.5 million .jgp files stored in a folder of windows media! YES 3 500 000 jpg files!

Decision of Directors... delete the folder. With that, I lost my desktop icons, Skype and iTunes. I was able to reinstall Office icons are back. I rarely use Skype so no question, I've uninstalled it. I will return later.

The dilemma is now no iTunes, does OK icon... the process should be, do a uninstall/reinstall. With a massive library I want to do it right and who would be in Control Panel/programs/iTunes/uninstall. Alas, I can't.

The message I get is "the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource.  Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package "iTunes6464.msi" in the box below. This item is not found.

I have downloaded and run the latest version of iTunes6464setup to be told that "a newer version of iTunes is already installed"... the installer closes.

So now I'm in an add that not only no icon iTunes but no way to unistalling/reinstalling.

    I'm looking for help. :-)

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

    Start by missing error MSI.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

  • Photosmart C7280 AIO: Installation of an earlier version of the AIO software to solve the problems of scanning?

I had nothing but troubles attempt at analysis of the Solution Center with my Windows 7 upgraded to professional to Home Premium.  I've seen a lot of posts on sysems that will print but not scan.  None of the solutions proposed on these threads has worked for me. I ran print and Scan of the doctor.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version (PS_AIO_02_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140).  I run L4 uninstall and reinstalled the latest version.  I scanned my computer against viruses and malware.  I ran "SCF/scannow".  I have run memory scans.  I did "unplug everything" and reset.  I ran the product as an administrator.  I tried to run several compatibility modes.  This past for more than a week, and I was not inactive.  You name it I did it.  I don't want to turn on my computer to its configuration 2 years up to what I've exhausted all other possibilities.

Now for the real question (for those who have had this or similar questions)... Has anyone everything uninstalled and tried to install an older version (which can be improved later)?  My old version on my OLD XP laptop works fine.  I still have the older 100_228_PS_AIO_02_Full_Net_enu_NB verson of the installer.  If it will install (and work) on the WIN7PRO, I'd be happy.  Darn, I just try that anyway, but I would feel more comfortable if I knew that someone had tried (win or lose).

    All suggestions are solicited.

I have no recourse to the use of the old S/w.  I kept search some old discussions in this forum and finally a couple linked together which resulted in success (after several attempts at all the great suggestions that I had read in the forum).  BUT. one stands out because it spoke of my exact problem. Scanning from HP with my Photosmart C7280 solutions Center after the upgrade to Windows 7 Edition Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional.  The solution has been presented in a thread of 2009:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/printer-all-in-one-software-drivers/after-Windows-7-upgrade-printer-is-installed-but-nothing/m-p/174825#M8248

I landed on this all to coincidentally linking 2010 regarding a similar issue but diferent (similar = upgrade, different = print):

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/printer-all-in-one-software-drivers/networked-C6280-and-Windows-7-64-bit/TD-p/217282

I am so happy that the old wires still exist in this forum.  The solutions are not always the most obvious, especially for those of us who have been around computers for almost 40 years and have some predisposed notions.

Thank you to everyone.  Now to save this thing before something else goes south.

  • Photosmart C7280 all in one printer keeps giving me expired ink cartridge warning

My Photosmart C7280 all in one printer Guard giving me expired ink cartridge warning.  The cartridge has expired, but I want to continue to use it as it still has ink.  Is it possible to turn off these warnings to be boring?  I can't print until I have to recognize them!

@ CoolBreeze202 - I'm sorry that you are having this problem with the ink cartridges and the ink expiration error message.  You can try to clean the contacts on the cartridge and the contacts inside the machine to ensure that built up on the parts are not the source of the error message. Pages 163 and 164 of the user manual will show a manual cleanup process.

I would also do a hard reset to the printer to try to clear the error message and return the printer to a known working state. No user settings are lost with a hard reset.  Here is a link that will show you how to do a hard reset on this machine.

I tried four times to reinstall the photosmart C7280 on windows 7 (64-bit) computer software after problems with double-sided printing. Software downloaded OK. • IP address changes each time the router loses power or is reset (Photosmart C7280 printer)

I have a Photosmart C7280 printer wireless on my home network via a Belkin F6D4230-4 v1 router.  Whenever there is a power failure or the router is reset, a different IP address (in the range of 192.168.2.2 and 192.168.2.9) is assigned to the printer when the router comes back online.   This action requires each computer on the network (in total up to 9 computers) reinstall the driver and reset all the preferences print on each individual computer.   How can I assign a static IP address to the printer recognize the router dealing whenever it resets and not to assign a different address whenever the power goes off (too often in my area)?

You already have the printer hp software on your Mac?  If so, you need to uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall< scrubber="">
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Restart your Mac

    Now run a software update.

Finally, download and install the "Full Featured" driver and software from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

  • HP Photosmart C7280 solutions Center does not work after Windows 7 32 bit upgrade

I recently updated my operating system from Windows Vista to Windows 7 (32 bit).  Before the upgrade, my C7280 worked fine using the center of Solution and in my home wireless network.  After the upgrade to Windows 7 and download and install PS_AIO_02_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe, version 13.1.0, Solution Center does not work.

At the opening of the solution Center, it displays disconnected printer.  Using the Wireless Setup Wizard, the printer connects to the network.  I can open the Solution Center and it works very well for about 3 seconds and then goes to the printer disconnected mode.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the software update for Windows 7 package C7280 repeatedly and with the same results.  I downloaded and installed the patches and still no change.

I finally had to restore my computer to original operating system.  After the computer back to its original configuration, I used the original to HP Photosmart printer disk to reinstall the driver for Windows Vista.  Everything worked as before.  Then I ran the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.  Yet once, he told me that the HP Photosmart C7280 printer was not compatible with Windows 7.  I uninstalled the printer driver and run Windows 7 upgrade advisor.  This time, I have not received any message about the C7280 printer.

I installed upgrading to Windows 7 (32-bit), and then upgrade the HP Photosmart C7280 for Windows 7 32-bit driver.  Everything works fine now.

  • Photosmart C7280: the printer does not print

I have a Photosmart printer and an HP Pavilion all on a PC running windows 8.1. Recently changed service broadband provider and have had printing problems since then. I have set up the Wifi and can produce a test print, I can also print HP troubleshooting, but impossible to print whatever it be held on PC, such as documents and pictures.  I get a message saying "send to printer", but nothing happens.

I have tried setting up via a usb cable, still unable to print...  I uninstalled reinstalled the printer restarted by taking the plug from socket & crossed the HP step by step, guide, but no change.  The printer has accepted the new Wifi system & shows the logo of the Wifi on the small screen.  I even tried to print things via Adobe Photoshop, but still nothing.

    Any help would be welcome.

    Thank you

    Hello 643gs,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see you are having some problems printing via a wireless connection.

I have a few steps we can try.

Let's start from square one.  First of all, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

Here is a link to the uninstaller (Windows 8).  We want to have all the software and drivers removed so that we can start fresh off.  Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer.

When the computer is back on, click on the following link for the drivers and software HP Photosmart full feature.  Save this file on the desktop so that it creates a new icon.  Double-click the new icon and follow the installation instructions.  When you get to the connection options, move it to the printer and follow the next set of instructions.

On the front panel of the printer, go to the Setup menu.  Once in the configuration of the menu display on the network menu and down to the restore default network settings option.  Once the network has been restored, make the wireless configuration wizard.

When the wireless configuration wizard is complete, you should then be connected to the network and be able to see an IP address. Hover over to the computer and make the Wi - Fi connection and type the IP address that you received just from the printer.

You should now be connected and be able to print from the computer.

I would like to know if you have any questions or concerns.

    See you soon,.

  • Can not stop "auto crop" documents, scan on my HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one

I use a HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one to scan documents.   My OS is Windows 7 64 bit.   I have used this configuration since January 2012 and my problem has just started in the last 30 days.  I did not any changes to the system except for the automatic updates of Windows coming out.

I unchecked the box "automatically Crop scanned Documents" in the Advanced Document settings, but as soon as I scanned a page, the checkbox appears in the box again (in itself!) and it will automatically crop a bad document.

No idea why this is happening and what I can do about it?

    Thanks for your help.

Not really sure what caused it, but looks like the setting has glitched somewhere along the way and will be set when past.  Try unintalling to reinstall a new download.  Let me know what happens.
