  1. go in the front panel of your printer.

  2. Select Fax.

  3. Select settings.

  4 Select Fax reports.

  5 Select Fax Confirmation.

  The black line print head no longer works in total. Not the Photo cartridge on the left. Two different new factory fresh cartridges have been tried. The ink levels are reported complete. It did not help of four 4 hours of cleaning the heads. Cleaning of the holes did not help.

  Printer was working fine, after that I updated the driver for Windows 10, then just stopped printing, error communicate is not with the printer, but the status of the printers is connectivity is ready, State of the network again on the computer it says ready until I hit print I get error.   I am trying to print from iPhoto, which Ive done hundreds of times and am on premium glossy inkjet photo paper (a new package, incidentally).  I have not changed the settings recently when printing.  Flash Info - just ran a report of print quality and also checked the settings.  Then I printed the same image that I had tried before, and it seems very well!  Have no idea why, but it looks like Im back in business!   I have a Photosmart B8550 for several years. It allows to print from my installation of Win 7 Home Premium, but not now. I tried several fixes, UN-installations driver and re-facilities, including what is described in a thread that has begun on this forum on 15/07/13. The cumulative result is that I can print beautiful pages of diagnostics software HP Solution Center, but nothing of any windows-based application, or a test page from the printer properties page in Control Panel. When I click the "Printing Test Page" button on the printer properties page, I see the page Flash briefly in the series B8500 printer queue window and disappear - but no page is printed. Is there a fix I've not seen? Is what it means the printer has fried? Is there a last attempt, I can do before (probably literally) grabs it by the window?

  My Windows 7 is 64-bit, I was installing the latest full driver from the Web site package and I have a USB connection. Using Windows update has failed. In the meantime, I found that printing from a USB key works fine.

Now, it print after you restart the computer.

  It seems that these jobs are stuck in the queue.

  I might try a reboot network and see if cela them gets the impression for you.

  The first thing you want to do is to unplug the power cord at the back of your router.

  Then do the same with your printer, either from the wall or the back of the printer.

  Wait 30 seconds and reconnect the router. Wait another 30 seconds and reconnect the printer.

  If the jobs do not print after that the printer starts up, then you want to cancel the jobs 'pending' in ePrintCenter and perform these same steps again.

  If you are still having problems with this after these steps, let me know and we can try something else.

  My printer, which worked very well last week suddenly stopped working. It is not configured for the wireless, but is connected by cable to my Mac (OS 10.6.8).   So now, I can't even all print.

  Try to restart the Mac and printer and check any change.

  So make sure that the most recent driver is installed by clickign the icon Apple, then software update.

  If this does not help solve the problem try to reset the system as follows:

  * Be aware that reset the printer system will eliminate any existing queue and reset all custom settings driver.

  Click on the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.
  Select print & fax.
  Right click (or Ctrl + click) your product with the Printers list in the left panel and then click on reset printing system.
  Click OK to confirm the reset.
  Type your user name and password.
  Click OK. The printing system resets.

  Now go to Applications > Hewlett-Packard > utility device, follow the HP installation wizard and try to print again.

  It looks like a problem with the printer ink. It may have dried due to non-use. I suggest that try you to perform a print head cleaning. Try the following steps:

  • On the printer control panel, press 'Setup '.
  • Press the down arrow button to select Tools and press OK.
  • Press the down arrow button to select "Clean printhead" and press OK.
  • If the print quality is acceptable, you can stop troubleshooting.
  • If the print quality is unacceptable, perform a print head cleaning.

  I have no success in the configuration of the connection between the MacBook and Photosmart 7510 to print wireless.

  Try resetting your router and the printer. First of all, turn the printer off. Unplug the router and wait for about 30 seconds then plug it back. Expect that all of the lights to stabilize on the router. Once they have, go ahead and turn on the printer and try again.

  I tried to unplug the power plug, power switch, cleaning of the printheads several times (manually), cartridge to give a little air, checked the connections, replacement of cartridge again. Nothing helps.

  See for example: some forum someone temporarily solves the problem by performing cleaning operations for (more than) 7 times, which cost five new cartridges to replace, and after a month or if the problem recurs.

  I wouldn't do this because I don't want to empty an another XL cartridge and then discover the problem recurs.

  The printer (bought in April 2010) is connected through the USB port on a Mac Pro 8Core with OS - X 10.6 (I always use only paper HP and HP original cartridges)

  This "Absolutely" worked for my c309! He started printing gray yesterday, then I finally got the blank pages. My first thought was that HP has screwed me again! lol but I tried the post above... I have unplugged the printer for more than 25 seconds, held down the 3 and # buttons simultaneously for another 25 dry more plugged in printer and now the buttons down then made for another 25 sec.  Had to reset the lang. and the country, but after a few minutes he printed a perfect test page and I was able to print all my docs now!  It was a solution easy vs on the removal of the water and heads/cartridge, etc.  I would try this first and if it doesn't work, then you can try other patches.
