Pictures (sync)

Hi guys,.

My photos are becoming more disorganized, so I come to you for help

I use the Photos app on my Mac and on my iPhone. When it comes to synchronization settings (iTunes), I put to synchronize all my photos of the Mac to iPhone.

However, I have a few problems:

1. There are photos 11568 and 96 videos on my iPhone and there is 9278 photos and 475 videos on my Mac

2. for the connection of my iPhone to synchronize, same identical photos appear to import each time (However new photos are always added)

3. my photo stream is just a mess... Each photo has a duplicate. The duplicate can be changed or deleted, while the original can be edited and deleted

What I'd really like is to have the same library on my Mac and on my iPhone, and keep it synchronized correctly.

Can someone help me with this? Thank you!!

* I'm running MacOS Sierra and iOS 10 *.

What I'd really like is to have the same library on my Mac and on my iPhone, and keep it synchronized correctly.

It's simple and fully automatic - switch on iiCloud photo library on peripheral al and libraries will be ke [t fuly synchronized and identical - all changes made on any device (additions, deletions, or modifications) will be will be on all devices

THS initial download is slow and the synchronization does not occur until the download is complete, so be patient

    Good news!  Problem solved!

First of all, I noticed that on my iPhone, WeChat (a good Chinese software equivalent to Facebook x WhatsAp) saw my fine albums, while the pictures couldn't!

So weird, that I was convinced to try once more to bring my old file Photos Cache in my photo library, even if a new cache file is supposed to be created whenever iTunes syncs photos.

For some reason, the last time I tried it did not work, but this time he did: my old cache file was now in my photo library!  I don't know what I did differently.  In any case, I sync my photos once more with iTune then open the pictures on my iPhone, half hoping to find my old nine albums back... and here they were!  Even my two additional albums were there, with all the photos inside!

Problem solved, even though I still don't know what it was. Looking at other positions in the community in respect of 'Synchronization of Photos with iOS10', it seems that iOS10 there a problem that requires a sort of library discount at zero.  Thank you Leonie bear with me and try to reproduce the problem on your computer!  Information guide me to the solution. And I'm very happy that I can wait a few months before moving to the Sierra...

  • How to quickly get 100 + photos from iPhone in pictures on iMac with the download speed very low broadband?

    Hi all

I have an iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9.3.1 and a retina iMac running OSX El Capitan 10.1.4.  I use iCloud photo library and I like the idea of having all the pictures synced across all devices.  This works well for one or two odd photos I take here and there.

I have just been on vacation and taken 100 + photos with my iPhone and want to create an album of photo printed on my iMac, but the problem I am facing is that it takes so long to get the pictures on pictures on my iMac.

My download speed high speed is very low - on 0.3Mbit / s, so the photos are always download to iCloud from my iPhone now, and I guess it will be another day or two to complete.

Is it possible to get the photos from my iPhone to the iMac more quickly without creating duplicates or spoil my library?

It's so frustrating to have to wait 5 days after her return from vacation before you can start making a photo album.

    Thanks for any help,

    Kind regards

    Ben

You can connect the phone with USB and import or use iTunes sync or Capture of Image - this can cause a problem with duplicates

And of course, you can stop by a store StarBucks, Apple (or other WiFi hotspot with good service) and complete quickly

  • photos synced from itunes will be deleted

This has probably been discussed ad nauseum, but here again once.

I'm trying to consolidate all of my wifes photos and download them on icloud with icloud photo library

    his pictures are on

1 Windows PC running Windows 10

    2 iPhone 5

    3. goofy old iPad 2

2 and 3. software update are wise.

I previously did essentially the same thing on my iphone/Macbook with no problems, but this time we want to just spend all her photos to icloud and just would have future pictures synced to the iphone and ipad.

Of course, when I activate icloud photo library on the ipad, we get that notorious "Photos synced from itunes will be deleted. any idea of how best to proceed with this? Of course, I like to keep the photos that it says will be removed, but im scratching my head as to what measures come ensuites. I do not want to use Windows as an intermediate storage area, (although I will if I have to) but I am a bit confused about the sequence of steps to allow the pictures marked for death to be saved, then re-uploaded.

I know that this issue has been hashed several times before, but I have problems to synthesize all the proposed solutions, I found there and decide on one to use.

    Thank you people!

  • still can't remove iPad air photos

    iPad Air, iOS 9.3.2.

I googled everywhere, and none of the 'solutions' work. In an album titled 'Last import' are a whole bunch of old photos, I don't want to see, and are probably in full resolution, that seem to occupy a whole bunch of MBs to storage - more than half, looks like.

Nothing I try to do allows me to get rid of these photos. When I select their view of the Album, there is no icon of the wastebasket. I can't "sent them into a new folder." Up in the square icon arrow leads to functions that go nowhere, no records. And if indeed the photos came from my iTunes on the Macbook Pro application that I sync my iPad Air to, I may not know where they would hide delete them. These photos are certainly nowhere on this Macbook Pro as far as I can tell.

I'd appreciate any help and very detailed descriptions of all the solutions - thank you very much in advance!

IF these photos are from an iTunes synchronization, create an empty folder on your desktop and name it as you want. Connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes and select your iPad in the peripheral icon at the top. Click on the Photos tab in iTunes.
