  I am also having the same problem with my iPod. The iPhone is a 5 c, the iPod is a 5G. They have the latest version of the software, and iTunes on my PC is up to date as well. I tried restarting the PC and devices, I tried different USB ports, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the device drivers.

  I have not uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes yet, because I really do not have to rebuild my library of songs and lose all my counters and others.

  Any suggestions?

  Hello! If your devices running iOS 9, make sure that iTunes on your computer is v. 12.3 or higher. Earlier versions will not detect your device.

  Also, take a look at troubleshooting basic steps proposed by Apple.

• iPhone will not show up as a device in iPhoto

  Phone (5s) syncs fine with iTunes. But all of a sudden it will not be displayed as a device in iPhoto, so I can't import pictures. Tried to restart the phone and the computer several times.

  Cropping is not the best way to correct the problem you
  describe... and Live Photo Gallery is not advanced
  just to have the tools that you need.

  A program with a clone of digital image editing brush
  would be a simple way to remove unwanted
  object.

  With clone brush, you can copy other areas of the
  Photo and stick them on the unwanted part.

  The following freeware has a brush/clone stamp...

  (FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)

  When you open the program, you will see a circle-
  wheel of choice... Choose... Editor in Chief...

  When the Editor opens, find the photo you want
  to edit in the left pane of file tree and left double
  Click on it to open it in the editor.

  Reach... Tools tab / Clone Stamp.

  The buffer size can be adjusted by clicking
  the three points or use your mouse wheel.

  Left click a part of the image that will blend with
  the area surrounding the unwanted object, then
  Left click on the top of the unwanted object.

  Then... the method is to...copy/paste/reset...copy/paste/
  reset... until the problem area blends to the
  the surrounding area.

  Press your ESC key to reset the tool and if you
  unhappy with the click of Ed... left the cancellation affects
  bottom right.

  It will take a little practice, but you will find you
  CAB make some incredible changes with a clone brush.

  When you are satisfied with the ED.... go to... Save / Save as...
  Enter a new name for the edited version and choose a backup
  location. Click Save to complete the backup.

  How can I insert additional pictures to their appropriate location in a folder? These additional photos are either copies of postcards or changed pictures from another camera and do not show any information regarding taken. I moved their positions right left click and drag , but when I try to burn such displayed (using the Nero essentials as a data disc) , all additional photos appear at the end the slide show and not as stated on my computer.

  I found this solution.  My symptoms are that windows 7 64 bit detected my iphone, show it in devices such as cameras and Printers window and would transfer photos on the iphone, but the iphone do not show up in ITUNES.  I followed the suggestion to http://forums.techarena.in/guides-tutorials/1168298.htm that says basically made a right click of the camera of the iphone, update the driver using the driver to c:\program files Apple Mobile device support\drivers.  The system has added a new device in the devices window and printers, saying: Apple Mobile Device USB Driver, once again with the same camera icon.  ITUNES now once more shows my IPHONE and sync up without problem.

  If you disable iCloud photo library on your iPhone, you will see more pictures on this device. iCloud photo library on your Mac will still have pictures. You should not lose all the photos from your Mac, but make a copy of your library beforehand should put your mind at rest until you can verify that he has lost.   Assuming that you have a valid SIM card in the phone, it is more often symptomatic of a phone that has been hacked or jailbroken to unlock.

  What file extension, these files get when save you them?

  If they do not have a file extension valid for a picture as a .jpg or .png then try to rename the files and give them an extension of .jpg file to see if that helps.
