PIN of the device

ReferenceError: Error #1065: qnx.system Variable:Age is not defined.

This error appears when running, I have read_device_identifying_information this line in the file blackberry - tablet.xml and accepted all the permissions on the device. don't know what else I'm missing.

That's the playbook, but I think I solved it simply. I accidentally added device.ane to the project and used since the CFC 2.0 sdk. I am a * beep * lol. just removed the donkey and everything works. Thank you!

Hello world

Is it possible to get a PIN device programmatically in C++ of Cascades? I search on this forum and find that this thread is talk about it, but his response cannot help me. My code is here.

TestGetPin::TestGetPin(bb::cascades::Application *app)
: QObject(app)
{
// create scene document from main.qml asset
// set parent to created document to ensure it exists for the whole application lifetime
QmlDocument *qml = QmlDocument::create("asset:///main.qml").parent(this);

// create root object for the UI
AbstractPane *root = qml->createRootObject();
// set created root object as a scene
app->setScene(root);

getDevicePIN();
}

QString TestGetPin::getDevicePIN()
{
QString pin;
deviceinfo_identifying_details_t *deviceDetails;
if(deviceinfo_get_identifying_details(&deviceDetails) == BPS_SUCCESS) {
int pinValue = deviceinfo_identifying_details_get_pin(deviceDetails);
pin = QString::number(pinValue, 16);
deviceinfo_free_identifying_details(&deviceDetails);
}
qDebug() << "pin: "+pin;
return pin;
}

But the console print an empty value (only "pin:" ' ").

If anyone knows how to get a device PIN completely. Could you post your complete code example, please? I will be grateful for your kindness.

MAZ

deviceinfo_identifying_details_t** deviceinfo_identifying_details = new deviceinfo_identifying_details_t*;

QString pinHex = QString::number(pin, 16);

• Signature of the device Pin showing Null when the Blackberry playbook tablet App

I'm developing an app for Blackberry playbook in action script. I signed the application (Release version) and it has deployed on the device, but the axis of the device shows null. When I run the application directly from Flash builder it is showing correctly.

I added the permissions for the config file, is to show the axis of the device, but after his signature for immediate release it shows null.

Please let me know why it's happening.

Thanks everyone, I solved the problem. In fact, there were 2 BB.xml file in my project, one containing the access authorization of pin of the device and the other did not have this permission. I removed the redundant .xml file and every thing went very well thanks to help appreciated guys

• Pinout of the device from the PCI-6225 in differential Mode of I

Simple question: where is the pinout of the device for the card PCI-6225 for differential of analog input mode? I looked in the device list of the pins in MAX, in the NI 622 x specifications document and several other places, but I was not able to find it. I found the pinout for referenced asymmetrical measures, but no differential.

Related issue: most people use devices like the 6225 for no entries analog differential? So why in tarnation do many brand of material OR that upper and lower manuals, looking for the differential input version?

Thank you!

«Referring the number of pins would make it impossible to use the same code when you change maps DAQ.»

I'm not sure I followed here. Can you please explain a little further? Are you referring to the 1-68 0 connector pins and 1-68 pin connector 1? If so, I'm not sure, I followed. A different pinout may not change the code. If I had to replace a 6225 with another equivalent at least DAQmx device as many channels and the device number was the same, then I'd not change all the names of channel in the code, I? It would certainly change the wiring, which is precisely what I'm doing right now.

I know that the analog input channels look like ai0, ai1, etc.. My concern is later: where the jumps occur when you're in differential mode?

I have attached exactly what I would like to see in the documentation of ALL analog input device which allows the differential mode, only with the + and - channel names only and not the labels AI0-AI79. I couldn't find this photo any place, but rather had to laboriously calculate this pinout. If you know where to find this photo, I would be very grateful.

Thanks for the reply.

• input device touchscreen usb disabled and now the device disappeared

To summarize for those who want a short version:

Model: Sony VAIO Duo svd11225cxb

Windows 8.1

a. my touch screen of this device is * outside? Any way to reinstall the driver for the touch screen? Tech Sony said that the material is very good.

b. in my efforts to solve the problem, I turned off a device in Device Manager and it now gone, no way to recover?

Here is the full version:

I have a Sony VAIO Duo svd11225cxb. After the recent updates, freaked out and kept touch screen back to the menu screen to start (and possibly other areas of the screen).

We decided that so that the computer to operate, it should disable the touch screen. So we went to the Device Manager and disabled the "usb input device" under "human interface devices" which associated with the touch screen. Allow us went then back to him and found that the unit had disappeared from the Device Manager. I tried to install the next window touchscreen driver, but that did nothing. Any advice?

Hi herschen,.

Welcome to the community of Sony!

Perhaps the question is just the driver. We will isolate the problem by following these steps:

• Power cycle - turn off the laptop-> flip the unit and look for a button cell or a pin hole on the bottom of the laptop. Using a safety pin, press and hold the hole for 5 seconds.

• Reset the BIOS to the
• Go to Device Manager -> right click and Uninstall the driver/s under Human Interface Device (DO NOT REMOVE). Then restart the unit. The driver will be reinstalled.
• Run the Windows Update and Vaio Update.

Hope these helps.

Kind regards

When I came back from my vocation, I bought a new sim card and after a few days of normal use, when I turned on my phone last night I had a message saying device locked Pin. I cannot go beyond this message and can only receive calls and cannot make another anyything. I contacted my ISP, as it's the messge was told to do, they don't know wht the problem. Can someone guide me on how to solve this problem. I have a Q10, thank you.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please see this "sticky" post, and the son to which it connects, for more useful information to guide you as you go:

I hope that this information will be useful to you.

Now, armed with information, be aware that no one here can actually do the research to answer your question. For some reason, your device PIN is blocked and cannot be used on any carrier for specific services BB. It can be reported as lost or stolen. This report might be valid or it could be in error. In any case, to resolve the problem, you must follow the procedure of such formal support discussed via the link I gave you above.

If I had to guess, I would say that you must contact the seller for you to the device and to convince them to help you... After all, you bought them, so your unit purchase agreement is with them, which means your formal level of the device support is determined by this purchase agreement... whatever he says, is what you need to do to get a formal on this topic support.

Nothing else that a formal support for this will be useful I think.

See you soon and good luck!

• Debugging application on the device

Hi people,

I have 3 Questions for you:

I have a weird on my application error, when I run it on the device of BB, but it's not when I do it on the emulator, I try debugging on the device (right click on the tree to approx. eclipse-> Debug as-> Blackberry device) then I get an error message indicating that the application must be signed.

(1) I need I sign the application before debugging on the device?

(2) I will pay the fees for signature keys. These keys are useful for all classes, signed? I mean, when I get the keys can I use any class signed?

(3) which means that the PIN on the signed registration key?

Thank you.

Bruno.

Yes, your application must be signed for debugging on the device.

When you get the keys, you can use them to sign all your apps BB, as many times as you want. Yes, they are good for all classes.

The PIN in the registration form is a number YOU provide - make sure you save the number one safe place, that you will need when you get the key in order to activate them.

• How to get the name of the device model?

• Lack of Smartphones blackBerry messages (e-mails) after re - initialize the device through BES

Hey there,

One of my colleagues got just his BB and indicating the device simply synchronized or him remove the profile. Lack of contacts, emails were gone, schedule meetings missing etc... I have connected to our BES server, set the password activation and pushed to the device. I have connected since in the device, recreated his e-mail account of company and all seemed to have finished initializing. Noticed that the zone has taken time to initialize loooooong. I checked the time and date and both were correct. I checked his contacts, schedule meetings and everythin seems due back again all its e-mails are not returned. I sent many emails internally within our network of e-mail and outside my test hotmail account and unit did in fact bring but only after the re-initialzation I did this morning. Whatever it is before today was not returned.

Any ideas?

Thank you

It is likely that his unit ran down on the memory and delete the data. But there is no "unsync" from the server. When the unit is short of memory it will erase the data in order to continue to run.

The reason for which old emails did not return when you activated on the BES is this feature only works when you add a new device (new pin code) on the account, or if you delete and re - add the account. If you simply re-enable the device even on the BES you won't get old emails filled again. If you Google the mail in question you will find there is a solution but, if I remember it's kinda a hack of the BES to operate.

Here are a couple of KB which deals with the issue of the mail:

• BlackBerry smartphones IS INSTALLING IN BB PROTECT PASSWORD RESET RESET THE DEVICE PASSWORD

1st post ever.

BB TORCH 9800 IS RUNNING ON T-MOBILE UK NETWORK PIN PROTECTED

I started with the BB BOLD in 2009 and moved to BB TORCH 2011 when I had an option of upgrading, so I'm pretty familiar with BB.

My device is protected by BB and there's the option of password reset on the leg for the identification of BB. What I'm not clear all is if this resets the password to access BB Protect or it can reset the password for the device. I'm on my attempt at entry 9 password, and here's how I got here.

Summer using the phone as normal through today. I have the protect of spindle of 10 minutes, i.e. whenever the phone is idle, he hangs himself. PIN protection also need to install the software etc, so I must have unlocked the phone at least 12 times or more today.

As usual, I've unlocked the phone 2 hours ago to send and receive BBM PINES of a couple of friends who have stopped. The only thing that struck me is that one of them used a BB Pearl and the BBM PIN is all non-alphanumeric numbers. After they were gone, thought I'd check on my emails and tried to unlock the phone as usual, and he kept on the return "Incorrect password." I couldn't believe it that's a pin Digital and thought it was a mistake and continued.

By my 7th attempt, put the sim in a spare handset and called my operator T-Mobile, they said there was nothing they could do, I had to enter in contact with the RIM. Put the sim card in my BB Torch and gave him another chance (at that time it asks you to type in "blackberry" and your password in clear text)

Fortunately, I had BB protect enabled, I signed the and saved my camera.

Under the my device tab, you can change the password for the device. T o do you need to enter the existing password (known), enter a new password and then click on the locking device. Done everything that he went and came back to say this device has failed.

Tried to unlock the unit 9th attempt.

What are my options?

The BlackBerryID reset password affects ONLY the password of the BlackBerryID... NO password security of the device itself. Two completely different things.

It's weird, but not impossible. I've seen a lot of BlackBerry wants a digital-only PIN. Not much.

It has nothing to do with you the problem.

I guess it's that you have entered your only security digital password wrong... only not by pressing the ALT key to make the number.

Often users with more than one digit in their password will only press the ALT key to the first digit and not those who follow, so for example, if your password "1234", you could put pressure on 'Alt 1234 "on the device, making the real password to be"1st".

Who is? It sounds familiar to your use?

In order to verify the manner in which you enter your password on the device... do you think that you enter several numbers, but in fact are not?

• BlackBerry Smartphones windows 7 does not recognize the device

I was connected my 8330 for a desktop XP for a long time. The sw of the device is v4.5.0.175. I recently got a new Lenovo T410 laptop, running Windows 7. I downloaded the software (version 5.0.1) DM and checked my camera SW is updated, but the laptop is still not recognize that the device is connected (via USB). I tried all ports USB on the laptop and also followed all the steps detailed in KB13146, with no luck. I find nothing in any of the forums that refer to Windows 7. Can anyone help solve this problem?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Here is the list of troubleshooting atricles... I hope that something will be useful:

KB02640 Troubleshooting USB connections
KB15486 Top 10 smartphone BlackBerry and BlackBerry Desktop Manager troubleshooting tips

KB01451 How to enable Sync advanced logging if a wired synchronization fails
KB19717 The BlackBerry smartphone is not detected as a USB mass storage device when connected to a computer

In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

My apologies in advance if this is redundant - there is no way to be sure that if you have already seen and tried these. I can attest that DTM does not indeed a BB under Win7... mine is exactly so.

I hope that something it is useful!

• BlackBerry Smartphones DTM & software update to the device

I was always under the impression that I needed to download and install the latest software for my carrier device (for my PC) before I can update my BlackBerry OS.

However, I had a PC brand new, installed the latest 5.0.1 BlackBerry Desktop Manager software and then plugged a device with an earlier version of the operating system installed.

The loading of the DTM he told me that there is newer software available and asked if I want to update the device.

Can someone tell me where it's getting this update since? It's directly at RIM or it sees somehow what carrier I use and get updates of my career?

If it's directly at RIM is a generic OS update and it will be OK to install?

Thank you

The notification is made by RIM, like a match for your device PIN to your carrier.

So, if your operator has released an upgrade higher than DM sees on your device, he advises the upgrade.

Me, I would not recommend upgrades "DM on the web. I've seen too many of them go very wrong.

Download the full operating system and install it manually.
