Pinch Zoom blackberry 6

Hi all

I use the new "Pinch Zoom" feature in my application on JDE 6.0.029.

To do this pinch zoom on a simulator, I activated the Multitouch (Alt + M) mode and put two point

on the screen. But I do not have TouchEvent.GESTURE TouchEvent.

Please help (it is possible on a simulator?)

I found the Solution

ByDefault gestures of scanning is enable but pinching gestures is not.

To activate this add following code:

InputSettings inputSetting = TouchscreenSettings.createEmptySet();
inputSetting.set(TouchscreenSettings.DETECT_PINCH,1);
inputSetting.set(TouchscreenSettings.DETECT_SWIPE,1);
this.addInputSettings(inputSetting);

To toggle the touchEvent InputSettings can be used.

  • Implement Pinch-zoom in blakcberry

    Hello

    BlackBerry support multitouch. However, the SDK is very limited.

    All I can find is getMovePoints() track of each finger in return.

    I want to implement a pinch to zoom (zoom by the movement of 2 fingers) like the iPhone in my application.

    I have a few questions:

    -Is it legal to have this feature on my application? There's rumor that pinch to zoom is patented by Apple .

    -If Yes, do you have any suggestions on how to recognize the gesture of the trace returned by getMovePoints()?

    Thank you in advace

    • Browser.Gesture.Pinch.out.Shift-> cmd_fullZoomReset
    • Browser.Gesture.Pinch.Latched-> false

    To open the topic: config page, type Subject: config in the address bar (address) and press the 'Enter' key, as you type the url of a Web site to open a Web site.

  • Qosmio X 500-116 - Pinch Zoom on Synaptics touchpad sometimes does'nt work!

    Model - Qosmio X 500-116 (windows 7)

    Hi all

    I m occasional annoying problems with my Synaptics touchpad V7.2

    Every now and again the Pinch Zoom on Synaptics Touchpad does not work (it happens about once every 5 cycles). When this happens, I m impossible to enlarge/reduce the size of the screen of internet browsers or msoffice documents. Although I can still use the keyboard to increase or decrease the size.

    I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver it came with (version - 13.2.7.3) but the problem remains the same.

    I checked Toshiba site for the Synaptics Driver updates for my machine. It lists my current driver 13.2.7.3 and also another version of the 14.0.15.0 driver.

    I figured that I d try to install version 14.0.15.0, that he went through the motions of the facility, then at the end, that nothing happened and he n t installed. So I went back to version 13.2.7.3

    Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated!

    Kind regards

    Bren

    Have you tried the driver for the touchpad that is available on the page of the Synaptics driver?

    Check it out and report its operation.

    Hello

    Try the following.

    Hold down the Windows key and press R

    In the run box, type regedit and press enter

    In the registry editor, navigate to the following

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install

    Inside, look for a key named DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade

    If it is present, right click on the key and select Edit

    Set the field data of the value 0 (zero) , and then click Ok.

    Close the registry editor.

    Make the Synaptics setting changes you need in the usual way and save them, and then check if they are now kept after a reboot.

    Kind regards

  • 17 - fx114: Synaptics touchpad drivers Pinch Zoom cannot be disabled

    I have done a clean install of update 1 W8.1 + added all patches + the drivers from the HP site to remove all the bloatware of the machine.

    The machine works perfectly except for one thing.

    The synaptics touchpad Control Panel applet drivers does not honor the deactivation of 2 fingers pinch zoom.

    Also, I can't change the pinch zoom speed, which is a parameter associated with the title of this category.

    Settings can be changed in the applet, but when I close the applet and the back, the check box is enabled and the cursor returns to the default position (not what I put).

    All I have this problem and know how to fix?

    I tried to test the registry database and it doesn't seem to be a specific "toggle" value for the pinch zoom - it a bunch of settings for the display of the window and how to disaplay video 'help' but nothing that obviously turns off the real feature! Laughing out loud!

    Googling for the registry settings for the driver there is very little info and nothing specific to the settings I'm after.

    All I want to do is completely disable the pinch-zoom.  There is a checkbox for it; why it does not work!

    Hi, Sparkles, I followed upward...

    I figured it out - I was missing the chipset drivers of intel - the SMBUS of MS aparently pilot was not 100% compatible (even if it is not 'bang' in Device Manager, he has not obviously supported all functions of the drivers intel).  So, here is what I did:

    Removal of the touchpad in Device Manager (and also checked "uninstall driver" withdrawal confirms dialog).

    Restarted.

    Noticed that the Device Manager now had a shot for a SMBus device (not before - before I even did my own installation) - weird.

    Tried to install the generic Synaptics drivers on their site - ng - only supports * SYN002 devices - it is * SY1E0C.

    Since the SMBus device intel (DEV_8086...) I decided to reinstall the chipset drivers - AHAH!  I didn't upload them when I made my own installation!   DOH!

    Installed the chipset drivers (after download) and restarted.   Peripheral SMBus is struck.

    reinstalled Synaptics touchpad drivers (HP); restarted.

    When the BONE is back upward I went clickpad settings and disabled the pinchzoom (without going into the void parameters) and clicked OK to close the settings clickpad application.

    Returned - BOOM!  Check box is left UNCHECKED.  Checked Pinchzoom does not work in IE, etc.  YAY!

    GOOD BLOOD!  I could have SWORN that I had installed the chipset drivers!

    Anyway, resolved itself

    THX,

    Todd

  • UltraNav Pinch Zoom

    I tried to find a way easy to scroll and accidentally found the zoom pinch. For the life of me I can't get this page to zoom out.

    Is there a way to get the page back to its default setting?

    I even rebooted and my Gmail Inbox was further expanded after the reboot!

    CTRL + 0 (zero) works in all major browsers. You can disable the Pinch Zoom in the UltraNav (Fn + F8) Control Panel, I've heard better two-finger scrolling.

  • He can't handle the Pinch Zoom events?

    Hi all

    I use the following example to the event of Pinch Zoom malleable.

    protected boolean touchEvent(TouchEvent message)
    {
       switch(message.getEvent())
       {
          case TouchEvent.GESTURE:
             TouchGesture gesture = message.getGesture();
             switch(gesture.getEvent())
             {
               case TouchGesture.PINCH_END:
                 Dialog.alert("Focal point: " + message.getX(1)
                 +            ", " + message.getY(1)
                 +            "\nFinal zoom value: " + gesture.getPinchMagnitude());
                 return true;
             }
       }
       return false;
    }

    But this isn't woked for me. I put the breakpoint and there he never struck. My application cannot handle this event.

    Can someone tell me why?

    Thank you!
    I just found the reason that I have not activated the pinch gestures.

    If any provision of the tablet or phone includes effects of scrolling, pinch zoom is disabled. Popular mobile browsers are unable to provide a consistent and reliable for scrolling on a page with zoom effects, so on a page that contains a scrolling effects Muse disables pinch zoom to avoid aberrant in the browser behavior.

    I have all articles in PDF format, version of the viewer just tried 24. The work of pinch & zoom very well in viewer content but I just tried to create the application (simple edition for now), and the p & z does not work in the application of the developer. The zoom allow PDF has been checked in the application builder DPS as well as advanced options in the first window.

    As always, thanks for the help!

    Yes, that makes sense. Some customers have reported problems pinch and zoom to trigger reliably with the pinch gesture. We're investigating.
