Ping local IP devices

Is it possible to Ping connected local IP addresses on different VLANS / subnets connected to the LAN, for example (192.168.0.5) ports, since the Web Interface of FVS336Gv2 when you're connected remotely? This would be very useful to try to solve the problems of local LAN if for any reason a peripheral LAN has been declared inadmissible. I know that the command ping WAN is possible through ports WAN 1 and 2.

I don't see the "acceptable Solution" button anywhere on this forum, where is he?

    Hello

I have a 871W giving me fits.  I've been troubleshooting this for some days now and may not know what I am doing wrong.  My wired clients cannot communicate with wireless devices.  My wireless devices are unable to communicate with each other.  However, my wireless devices CAN connect to a wired device!  I know because I have a local webmail server on the side wired can be achieved wireless.  All devices, wired and wireless, are on VLAN 1, which is be the only vlan configured.

My configuration file properly disinfected is attached.

When I try to ping from a wired device to a wireless device, I get the following error:

Is there a firewall on the host wireless?

Do you have wiresharked any traffic to see if it is to hit the dest host?

Look at the config looks ok. Some additional ACL that I've not seen it used is here.

  • Cannot ping local interface after last criticism of microsoft update

    I just bought a Satellite Pro A200.
When I upgraded to the latest critical updates from Microsoft Update, I found that I could ping is no longer my local IP address. This has happened to the card NETWORK LAN RJ45 and the wireless network card.
I reinstalled the operating system using the recovery CD, and I could ping to the IP address of the local interfaces.
But when I again once downloaded and installed the latest critical updates from Microsoft, I can't ping the local IP address.
    Anyone has any idea why?
    Thank you

    Hey Buddy,

WHERE´s the problem? I know that the updates are the system destroy it when they are buggy, but that's normal with microsoft. I have almost the same problems also! Thhoughts WGAnotify.exe, I was a software pirate and restricted my access to 'zero' access.
"Yes, Sir, I bought a windows and it s stolen... well... OK... :(."
Yes, noone except microsoft (who would be the point where I could say "you are in the wrong forum" ;)) knows why it s happening.)
These days, you should do the following: find update is the cause of this error. You can do this by going in "Add / Remove Programs" in your "Control Panel" and click on the top of the window the button "see the updates.
Then begin to uninstall the last installed update and check if your ping works. Otherwise, proceed to the next update and uninstall it and so on...
I know it's a long and boring process, but since there is NO problem of toshiba, you must accept it and try my method to remove the update that is causing your error.

  • ACS 4.0 Local firewall devices

    All,

I just read a message labeled "ACS 4.0 firewall" and he talked about opening 2004 for 5000 ports to access the ACS server that is behind the firewall. My question is this same range of ports apply if you try to access and authenticate on a device that is behind a firewall. When I try to access one of my devices located behind the firewall I can't authenticate via the GBA so I find myself using the local username and password. Can someone tell me what are the ports I need to open the firewall to allow the authetication return to the ACS server. Thank you

    Hello

GANYMEDE + authentication service between network devices and AAA server is running on TCP 49. The port 2004-5000 range applies only if you need to access the ACS server (for the purposes of management) from the outside / internet. In your case, if you want to access your devices behind the firewall from external network, what you need is to map your internal network with the public IP devices and open the port of ddesired service, for example SSH (tcp 22) on your Firewall outside interface ACL to allow incoming access.

For your internal devices, you must have the configuration appropriate AAA that point to ACS (e.g. GANYMEDE +). In your GBA, set these devices as customer AAA and set up appropriate IP, key secret and using GANYMEDE +.

Before testing ssh access internet/external network, test your SSH access locally. He must succeed in getting AAA to authenticate your request of SSH connection.

    Hello

This particular compatibility problem iOS 9 has been fixed in Adobe Reader for iOS version 15.1.0 (released August 11, 2015).

Open PDF documents from other applications (Mail, Safari) via the function "open in" should now appear in the sections 'Local' and 'Recent '.

Please try it and let us know if you find other problems with iOS 9 beta.

  • ASA VPN cannot ping ip local pool

    Hello

We have ASA 5510 a device be deployed for a period of time. Everything works fine except customers local VPN cannot ping local customer VPN which get their IP address to the local swimming pool. They can ping anywhere on the local network of company, but not each other. I don't know there's a logical explantion for this because of an ACL but all appreciated the advice...

    Thanks in advance

    Keith

    Hi Keith,

I think that, in order to allow a customer VPN reach another VPN client, the SAA should turn the VPN traffic (because it will receive the traffic of a VPN tunnel and re - again to send another tunnel.)

Can you add "same-security-traffic intra-interface permits" and try again?

    Federico.

  • Two of us have MacBook and iPhone and you want to share a library on the local hardware. We want to get the photos off the coast of our devices to save memory. Recommendations of the how?

How can I put any libraries of MacBooks and iPhotos in a single library on a local, external device to give us access and eliminate our cameras?

An iPhoto Library is a library of unique user. If you try to open different user accounts, you will have problems with the file ownership.

For iPhoto libraries the workaround is to move the library to an external drive, where the "Ignore ownership on this volume" indicator is on.  The procedure is explained in this document, see the link: iPhoto: sharing libraries among multiple users - Apple Support

You have the stateful firewall "always you" checked. This is a version of the Zonealarm firewall Runtime based on the host. It's 'on' even when you're not connected via VPN client. Great security.

Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.

I use AnyConnect to create a VPN with an ASA 5505.  Once connected, the client needs to access a device behind a router in 1941.

  • Install new ESX hosts.  Cannot Ping.

    Hi all

I'm building a test lab which so far consists of:

    ESX1: 20.1.1.10 255.255.255.0

    vCenter: 20.1.1.100 255.255.255.0

    Openfiler iscsi: 20.1.1.40 255.255.255.0

I had all these configured devices and can ping throughout (with a little help from you friendly people, of course). I just tried to install my second esx host and I have a few problems to get to communicate with the rest. During installation I assigned an IP address of 20.1.1.80 255.255.255.0 so its on the same network. Rattling of the evil machine returns "destination host unreachable". Ping to it from any other device returns the same. esxcfg-NICS - l is the network card. Route - n shows exactly the same output as my other work esx host.

This workshop is entirely on its own network. All devices are networked through a simple switch 16-port Dell 2216 with any VLAN or whatever it is.

I tried all sorts of troubleshooting a layer on my switch ports, including the passage of the cables, and finally pulling up the entire hard drive and put it in a same laptop to rule out a bad network card. I also went into the bios and adapted settings my host to work to avoid any possible problem of allocation of resources.

One strange thing I noticed. When I run esxcfg-nics command on my network card work esx host is displayed. When I pull on the cable and run the command, it displays down. Plug it in again, almost immediately goes back to the top. However, when I try the same process on this machine of boredom, the NIC appears whether or not the cable is connected some sort of funny business going on here. What Miss me?

EDIT: I could have taken the lead on this one.  I see now that speed is 0MBPS and is half-duplex.  I gave the esxcfg-NICS-s-100 d full vmnic0 command but esxcfg-NICS-l does not reflect them.  I'll try a reboot, but I think this is probably my problem.

Faulty network card causes a problem of driver especially problem run miit-tool to check the duplex speed and also his ping locally? stop the firewall during the tests of time and running tcpdump on interface to control icmp traffic.

ifconfig - a vswif0 control is in place and the correct ip address?

  • Redirection problem strange local drive - white icons

Someone has seen this before and no one knows the cause/solution?

What is happening on our test/development configuration and our production environment (vWorkspace 7.1).

When a user connects to a Windows 7 VDI session local endpoints devices are directed through, as shown here:

But... when the same user connects to a Win2008 R2 RDS session, the redirected folders are missing and you get white icons that are inactive.

The user is using folder redirection to move its profile folders (AppData, etc.) on a network share...

Endpoints tested 2 with are Windows 7.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

    See you soon,.

    Dan.

Possibly a registry hive capturing the issue (or lack thereof).

On the test in question account, there is no record capturing the policies put in place for the user. I set it up to capture booty HKCU\Software\Microsoft and HKCU\Control Panel.

    The client drives appear now.

I will tune the registry capturing next week.

Odd. Don't know if it's an underlying problem of the RDP/RDS but at least theres an autour work.

I'm going to blame another admin here for now!

  • Ping PowerEdge 5324 problem

We buy a new switch Dell Powerconnect 5324 (24 ports) in order to expand our old Powerconnect 2508 (8 ports) for gigabit connectivity.

If we connect the new switch, we have the following behaviors: a very small number of machines can not ping IP one and only . For example, the print server can ping all printers except one. A PC can ping all other devices connected to the network, except the IP address of a server. At the same time, all other PCs work fine.

If I disconnect the new switch the entire network restart to function properly. If I connect the servers to the switch again the network problem appears again.

There are also 2 amazing things:

    -changes of machines involved (IP)

-a continuous ping on the affected machine works for a few seconds then stop for a few minutes and then work again for a few seconds and so on

I use the default configuration, and I think that it is impossible to configure something like this with a managed switch.

    Do you have any suggestions?
