Place 11 7130 vPro freezing problems

So I just got my vPro 11 place, 7130 today (and I really like it so far) but I noticed that I've met a few technical problems.  I tried searching for similar problems, but nothing helped.

My problem is that the entire Tablet freezes periodically when not directly connected to the power source.  Sometimes the screen goes all black, but I can feel the haptic of the Windows key.  Sometimes the 80% upper of the screen turns into what looks like a field of stars.  It is quite difficult to explain, and I try to take a picture of it the next time it happens.  When one of these problems occur, it is a quick reset and the problem is solved, but it was kind of annoying.

Everyone knows these same problems?  Let me know if I need to provide any other information.

Thank you!

Click Start-> all-> Intel HD Graphics Control Panel Apps. Click on 'Power', then click on "Off" next to Panel to refresh.

I just got the place 11 7130 and installed Windows 8.2 company but there no option in the early underground to sleep. No option in the Office also discovered. I've updated the device with the latest version of the bios and also all the latest drivers. This tablet works great except for this element. I can create a script task to put to sleep, but the only option that Windows is Hibernate feature. If anyone can help!

HA, now we get closer. :-)
Your system supports the standby (connected), but is disabled, because the driver Wifi / card / parameters are bad or poorly mounted.
Did you install latest driver (mine is Dell 1537)?
Also, make sure that the Wifi adapter settings allow the system to sleep.
Check if you have power to the Wifi card options in Device Manager and / or check the power settings in the control panel)
You might need to change the registry key I mentioned before to 0 to see the option.
In Control Panel, Power Options go to "change advanced power options".
Click on "change settings that are currently unavailable".
Select "Wireless adapter" and see what you have options.
Should not be set to disabled.
Again, you could only see the wireless adapter settings if the registry key is set to 0.

  • I5 vPro Dell place Pro 7130 4300Y 8/256 Windows only runs on AC

Hello, I updated the firmware on my place from 11 to a13 and I just noticed that when I unplug it from the socket that it freezes, I've usually run it on the dock while I didn't notice earlier.

When it freezes, the only thing I can do is to press the power button and the screen turns off. If I wait a few seconds and press the power button again the system vibrates and then I can get in the log on screen (it does not ask the bios password so he has not been properly asleep), then I can use it for about 30 seconds before it freezes again (logged in or not). If I plug the sector while the screen is blank, the system works as expected, until I have unplug the unit again.

Here's a trick that worked for me that I posted a few weeks after doing the same exact troubleshooting: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/mobile-devices/f/4586/t/19600092

  • Gmail, the opening in the latest version of Firefox, immediately connects me back. IE does not. And why is there no place to actually report a problem?

I have a problem after updating Firefox to the latest version. I log in to gmail and I am immediately disconnected return. It does not work in Internet Explorer. I have no other Google open product. I am not connected to other Google products.

I wanted to report this problem but I can't find a place to do that, so I guess I post here and we'll see.

Finally! It works again. I don't know why, but it seems that I was not getting the allowed cookies even if I remove everything so I had no cookies for all sites. • Satellite U200 - freezing problem

    Hello

I purchase 4 notebooks U200-120 and I have the same problem with all of them. Sometimes the laptop freeze and after 10 seconds, it runs again.
The problem originated with Internet Explorer. I installed only the PC without other software but each of 4 laptops don't have the same problem.
I have try it with another pc (not U200) and the pc does not freeze at any time. So, there is a problem with LAN?

    Suggest?

    Thank you
    And best regards
    Manuel Amadei

    Hello manual

It is not easy to say anything because we don t know how you set up your laptops. Maybe you have preinstalled your own operating system and install responsible for stuff of this. Sorry, but it is not possible to say more without precise information how the books are preinstalled and configured.

Check the laptop hardware. If you think that there is a problem with LAN you should discuss it with the administrator of the local network.

  • Qosmio F45 - freezing problem

I bought my laptop almost 2 years ago were using it with minor problems until this week.

First of all, I use cd cases to raise the portable table, because in the last 6 months fan started working more than usual.

But this week it started to freeze, when I start the system, so I did system restore, it seemed to alleviate the problem, at least I could use it when I start everything first for 4-5 hours. But for example if I put it in sleep mode then turn it on, it crashes, I got this blue screen or twice system crash or it becomes totally insensitive. Generally what happens, it's hdd light stops flashing, computer stops responding, it will not shut itself, I turn it off and restart it, it works for 4-5 hours, repeat the same question...

Another thing I noticed, is that if for some reason, if I use the cd cases to raise or put the cd box right under the fan, freezing happens very quickly.

I initially put the blame on Windows updates, update of MSN and Itunes update, but I don't think that's the problem, I also thought that my hard drive might be dying, I downloaded hdd_health application, it says that my hard drive is 98% in good health, so I think that's not the problem.

I think that my fan may not be working very well, I used it in environments much dusty and I had the same problem with my previous laptop (toshiba satellite a25) when fan was working very well because of the dust in the machine. I managed to solve this problem using Radioshack dust remover spray well first time but the second time that I used it 2 years later, I think that spray damaged the fan, he began to create click sounds while working.

To cut short long story, what would you recommend? and you, what problem? If this is a related problem of dust, there risks using sprays remover dust under pressure to fix? I also wonder if it's overheating problem 100% because usually system turns off automatically when subject to overheating. In my case, it freezes and remains.

Anyway thanks for any help in advance.

Test the RAM for errors. You can use the free Memtest utility:

    1) go to http://www.memtest.org/#downiso and download the "pre-compiled Bootable ISO (.zip).
    (2) open the ZIP file and extract the ISO file to a temporary folder.
    (3) burn the ISO on a blank CD by using a "Image-to-Disc" or "Bootable CD" in your CD/DVD burning software (do not use a normal data project).
    4) Insert the Memtest CD into your laptop and put running, press F12 to start the start menu and select 'CD '.

  • Satellite M50: laptop freezing problem

    Hello

Problems with a fairly new M50. Recently it started to freeze, can only switch with switch / stop. It takes at least 15 minutes before trying again as it always freezes the OS front. But after that time will always leave you on the operating system. But sometimes it will freeze in the operating system after 20 minutes. Reformatted 3 times and had run it once for 3 hours, but with an error messages like "mobile political load failed" and the missing drivers. Later frozen after restart of the 3rd.

Can't understand why the delay? Search for viruses, etc., expelled Toshiba but no found hardware probs? Any suggestions? Is it a super virus that damaged the HD?

    Hi Alaux

You reinstall the operating system with the recovery CD?
If this isn't the case, please pick up the unit with the recovery CD. This CD is put on trial and the laptop it works without any problem.
But if you used the recovery CD and the laptop freezes and has problems, please, don t install any 3rd programs. Check if the laptop if it works to clean the BONES.

    Good bye

I tried a new installation on windows, all drivers are up-to-date and windows 7 compatible, I tried to stop all non-Microsoft running programs in the back on the ground and also tried with just using a monitor (I have a dual monitor set up)

If you are not able to make changes to your display settings then you are either not logged on as administrator or there may be a problem with your profile.  I would suggest opening a session with another user.  If you do not have a different user account and then create it and log in and test.

  • Freeze problem

After that the last MS recently updated my computer freezes 15 sec after that the desktop.  Running Vista32 with + 3 GB of RAM, Intel E6850 CPU (3 GHz Core 2 Duo).  The mouse and keyboard as well stop working and the internet connection (cable) does not at all.  Restart in mode safe mode with network allow me to access the internet without any problems and using Outlook for email.  All my normal programs work perfectly.  Another alarming fact, is that my AntiVirus (Kapersky) does not start even if it is set to auto-start with the computer.  In safe mode, after you run a full system virus scan (10 hours), no problems were detected.  My first thought was some time of the program dispute, but this is too strange.

By gong to Admin events the following is indicated "the event system COM + detercted a bad back during his treatment code internal."  HRESULT has the line 45 od d:\vistasp1_gdr\com\complus\src\events\tier1\eventsystemmobj.cpp 8007043 c.  Please contact Services of Microsoft technical support to report this error. »

It is unclear if this is one of the factors at the origin of the problem.  There may be several.  But it is not clear as to the cause.  Device Manager shows no hardware failure.

Any other suggestions would be helpful.  My network printer will not fuction in safe mode, so I need to solve the issue quickly.

  • Unexpected freezing problems randomly on Gears of War (PC)

    Hello

    I have a computer with Vista 32 installed. The main components of the system are;
-Core two 7500 Due (2.93 Ghz)
    -6 GB of Ram
-ATI 3870 GPU (Catalyst installed 9.9)

In fact, game performance is perfect, but I have the problem of unexpected freeze at random during the game Gears of War. I have to press ctrl + alt + delete to return to Vista

    At first, I thought that it is a memory problem. I used to have 2 x ATI 3870 in cross fire mode and 2046 MB physical memory.  To increase the physical memory, I removed one of the card and now I see 3070 MB of physical memory. Then I re-load the game to check the difference, but after 45 minutes the game freezes up to play again. Here are the details;
-At the start of the game, I have used physical memory 59%
-During the game, I have used physical memory 67%
-When the game freeze-up, I have 67 physical memory %

I guess that this is unrelated to the memory. In any case, when I checked the performance of the processor to freeze-up, I can see 100% full load. In my view, that the causes of the problem. I suppose that there is something on the game code that causes my charge of 100% of the CPU and no response.
No idea what can be the problem?

Furthermore, I have similar problems on other games such as Crysis and Red Faction. For example, when I play Crysis on win XP with DirectX 9.0 c, with no no problems, but on Vista with Directx10, Yes. I think that there are some questions on Directx10.

    Could you please help?

    Thank you

    What applications are freezing?

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. My battery was unable to hold a charge, so I ordered a new one. After I replaced it, whenever I'm using my computer, it warms quickly (especially when I open an application) and the power runs about an hour. In addition, the entire system freezes randomly and I need either hold the power button to stop it or to let the power run out. When I reboot it, it shows "a disc should be checked for consistency. Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

I used Windows Live Mail because it is out of beta and has never had as many problems with the program that I do now since the last update which gave him a new look.  (I would include the version, but I still find it).

  • Windows Vista freezing, problems starting mode safe mode, Windows Update does not work, etc.

Hi all. I am operating Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1, 32-bit on an HP Pavilion dv6000.

My problems started about two months ago, when I installed several updates through Windows Update. I started having problems with my USB ports (even if these pilots were not being updated) and the computer was never able to close successfully. I tried to uninstall these updates, but that did not fix the questions I had. I have also installed software (AutoCAD 2007) at the same time and uninstalled, nothing helps.

Then my computer started to freeze after running for a few minutes. Time seems to vary from 5 minutes of good use for 1 hour, but I found that it works only because this so long, I only open a program or file and use it all the time (for example, reading a book in Adobe Acrobat format). If I try to open the program or additional files, go to control panel, etc. (read: if I do everything related to Windows Explorer) the computer crashes. I can still move my cursor but none of the windows meet, and I can't ctrl + alt + delete to enter the Task Manager (I get a black screen).

I was manually shut down my computer every time that happens and boot in SafeMode several times. Sometimes when I try to start safe mode it is hampering the crcdisk file and turns off. It happens not every time, however. Sometimes, when it starts it running the disk check, and there has been some index files that it has been deleted and orphaned files that it has been moved.

I tried to do a system restore to a point before the updates I've installed in October, but my computer has no points system, restore even if he says it was their creation before you install these updates.

The last problem is that when I go to Windows Update, it says that I have never checked for or downloaded the updates in the 15 months that I've had the computer - is not true, I, he lost at the time of all the record of it. So although I would like to provide you with wonderful with a record of what I've updated and people uninstalled, I can't because all this information is gone. In addition, I can't connect to the internet to try to check the news updates, because our internet service runs a USB modem, which is not communicating properly with my computer.

I hope someone has an idea of what's going on. I just can't understand the common point that all these questions arise, my technology skills are somewhat limited, so I hope for a relatively easy solution.

    Sarah

BTW, all my files were backed up on external drives.

I don't know Jack about computers, but I don't know that I went through almost exactly the same thing.  My pc was ok, then in a month or two, it took a nose dive.  something I did was too that much could not think of everything.  A friend told me to reset my bios to default settings and see what happens.  After having spent only 7 hours trying to teach myself on bios, I got stabbed in this area and it worked.  Everything is great runnng.  Now I can even right click on icons without crashing.
