  I found a solution that works for me...

  1 goto /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources

  2 delete the files 'googlemap.html' and googlesearch.html

  IPhoto no longer crashes, site does not work, but it doesn't bother me too much.

  Deletes two files "googlemap.html" and the googlesearch.html of iPhoto application bundle prevents the JavaScript running inside and causing the accident.  To access the files inside the iPhoto application select it in the Finder and ctrl-click on it. Then use the command "Show Package Contents" from the menu.  Open the content subfolder and then resources.

  Do not try this fix without making a copy of the iPhoto application before trying to delete the two files of the entire application.

• Slideshows and triggers

  I tried to place 8 slideshows in a site I'm building in Muse. I managed to place the slide show 8 in and they work almost, except that when the slide shows are open, the triggers below are always catch. If someone clicks on an image in a slide show, they may hit a trigger below and open another slide show on top. I can't find a way around it. I tried to manage layers and placement compositions containing the respective slide upward, but they always pick up the triggers for other slide shows below. Can anyone suggest it please how can I fix this or maybe show me where I'm wrong?

  I thought about it! I used the blank publications to set up triggers in place and that seems to work perfectly for 8 slideshows to operate independently.

• Side-by-side is impossible?

  I'm starting to think I'm trying to accomplish the impossible. I would like to create a page with a slide show on the left (fixed size, does not) and a text box to the right with the content of the page. When the browser window shrinks, I want the slideshow does not change and the text to wrap to the new space closer to the text box. Isn't this possible?

  I am new to Adobe Muse. I tried to put a slide show on the site that I design, but for some reason any, that he won't let me resize. It seems that the resizing feature has been locked. When I place the slideshow on the page it comes up with a red outline with x where the normal sizing handles should be.

  Can someone help me with this? I'm sure it's something super simple who, for some reason, I just can't see.

• Problem with positioning

  I have been troubled by the fact that I can't place my slideshow and the div that contains in the right place, for some reason beyond my comprehension. The slideshow section is pushed down below, where infact it should be to the right of three buttons. This problem does not occur when I use Chrome or Firefox (except if I use a doctype) and it occurs when I use IE. I spent ages through my code looking for the source of the error and use the validator w3 to no success. My site is the link below:

• Is it possible to place an image in a slideshow of muse?

  For example if I have images of different dimensions (horizontal and vertical), but I want everything to anchor at the top left and the bottom of the slideshow to be transparent, so I can see the background of the site behind the images - is it possible? I'm trying to make anchor images so all in the same place and for the bottom of the slideshow to be transparent, without all the images must be clear gifs - it worked for some, but does not work for finer images... images are clearly breaking down.

  You can use the empty composition widget if you don't have a lot of images, since you need to import each in manually. But you have control over the justification & transparency.

  The only thing you need to do is to make transparent triggers.

• Slideshow: Can I cut songs to start at some places in the project?

  I create a photo slide show project. First of all, I tried it is iMovie, but with a large learning curve and the time constraints, I use photos instead.

  I have some pictures of hundreds and 3-4 songs.  I would like to choose the exact point in the project that each song comes on, instead of having the four songs evenly divided by the length of the film. Cannot know if this is possible.

  No, it is not possible in Photos. There is a solution that you could use.

  1. Select all the photos you want to play with the song #1 and create a separate slide show.

  2 - export the slide show as a Quicktime file.

  3 - do the same with photos of song #2, #3 and #4.

  4 import a #1 to 4 Photos slideshow.

  5 - create a slideshow with these 4 quicktime movie files.

  Not elegant or fast, but doable.

  Thank you for taking the time to answer! I think I can find a workaround. I used a widget of the basic composition, and apparently everything that you throw in the area target in the composition (photos, text boxes, etc) everything changes when you click on a new trigger (vignette).

  It seems to work for now, but I still have to test more to make sure it sticks. Thanks again for your help!

  You should be able to add images to subtitle a slide show, just like you would wrap text around a picture in a block of text, as described here - http://www.adobekb.com/typography_pt3.html.

  Because soon, you place an image in the caption, you will notice that it would be placed as an Inline element and the Panel layout would be activated in order to move the image around the text.

• You can place objects on folio slideshows?

  I created a slide show for an iPad app that I do. It is the same size as the document. I did another top layer and put in a solid square with some type in it. When I preview the it on my desk after you have created the folio, it shows just the slide show.

  I tried to update the document, I tried the consultation on my iPad, but nothing seems to work. Can you simply not things on folio overlays, or is there something that I am missing?

  They are called overlays for a reason. Whatever it is in a superposition will move to

  the top of the static content. Include the text with each State of

  the ASM or turn it into an MSO or scrolling of content its own. Then it will be

  As long as you use the themes of slide show advanced with several photos on the same slide, you don't have much control over the sequence of photos.  Photos, rearrange them to fill the predefined templates of slide.

  You have the best control, if you use the elder Ken Burns or classic. Then the photos will appear in the order you put them in the slide show film and you can rearrange them by dragging images autour.

• Cannot find slideshow on iPad Pro settings

  I have a new iPad Pro, fully updated to the latest version of iOS and all applications. I tried to find the parameters of the slideshow for pictures. The manual said to go to settings > Photos & camera and lists the different settings, I should find there, including the slide show. Here's what I see.

  The settings are in the photos app itself. Select the album that you want to use in the photos app. You can see the slideshow at the top right. Tap that. When the slide show begins, press on the picture on the screen and word Options will appear at the bottom right. Tap on that and you can change the music, style, speed, etc.
