Player C has partitions, location changed to get instant message 'Not available place', search, downloads and proven solutions?

I had my partitioned drive C and had documents and images of partitions. I decided that I have who wanted more and moved my Documents and my pictures to another internal drive.  I didn't know how to get rid of the partitions (used MiniTool Partition Wizard) so I deleted the partition X where the material was stored (after copying them to disk ofther) and merged the c drive.

Everything works well except my download folder. I get this message below when I click on it.

I searched and searched and tried different solutions, but they all refer to a C drive.  Help please :)

Open IE,

Click on the Tools icon in its upper right.

Click on downloads, View

Click Options in the lower left corner,

Enter your default download location in the box or parcourir browse to it, then select it.

Then find a small file to download as a test.  [I would say order Windows 7 because it is small and it would be useful for you in the future if you want to execute command line commands].

If the relocation of various user folder that you have so confused the computer it records no downloads where you want despite the correct path being defined, then you will have to use RegEdit to set the path of the folder manually.  You can back up your registry first, but the change itself would take a few moments.  I've posted instructions to para 2.8 of my little ditty to move the files to the user , but you will need to read the paragraphs preceding this way in order to get to the correct place in the registry [the preceding paragraphs would also verify that all of your other user file relocations have been recorded correctly].
